More Details On Theme Nights For Dancing With The Stars Season 25

If you go to TV Guide, they have some fun teasers on the theme night for Dancing With The Stars Season 25. Here is a take from the link with more details….

So far, a few themes for Season 25 have been announced. We’re going to get our stand-by Disney-themed night, and if someone doesn’t perform an epic waltz to Beauty and the Beast’s “Tale as Old as Time,” then there’s seriously no justice in this world. We’ll also get a Guilty Pleasures Night, where stars and pros cop to which dance moves they hate to love.

When you add in Latin Night, Season 25 is shaping up to be one of the best seasons for theme nights yet. According to executive producer Ashley Edens-Shaffer however, there are a few more irons in the fire when it comes to possible themes for this season.

Here’s Why Only One of the Property Brothers Is on Dancing with the Stars

“We have the Trio Round, [and] we’re hoping to bring back a former celebrity,” Edens tells TV Guide. “We’re going to potentially do an Iconic Dances Night, where our couples will repeat, reimagine, reinterpret an iconic dance from earlier seasons.”

With so many seasons and so many epic routines to chose from, Iconic Dances Night might be the best of the best. As for which star will return for Trio Night? The sky’s the limit. (We’re secretly gunning for Nick Carter because you just can’t go wrong with a Backstreet Boy).

Sounds fun. More at TV Guide,

I'm a fashion and music fan....and I have always loved dancing too of any kind. Dancing With The Stars seems to have this way of bringing all of those things together. Jonathan Scott Says His Brother Drew Is Very Competitive

Drew Scott has lost 27 pounds while getting ready for Dancing With The Stars. He says he’s in the shape of his life. His brother Jonathan says Drew is very competitive. So, watch out. From People…..

“I have a strong understanding of how to adjust eating and workout habits to maximize health gains,” Scott says.

While he typically is rushed for meals during Property Brothers filming, Scott says he’s making a point to eat better during DWTS.

“Our filming schedule is crazy busy, which means not always getting the chance to eat well and workout regularly,” he says. “However upon agreeing to do DWTS, I started cutting out any of the bad foods (pizza…I miss you!!), reduced the size of meals I was eating and started doing more regular weight training, cardio and yoga.”

When the show premieres on Sept. 18, expect a slimmed-down Scott moving and grooving to “Our House” by Madness. And his twin brother Jonathan will be cheering him on from the sidelines.

“He’s very competitive, so he’ll do well. If anyone can whip him into shape, it will be Emma,” Jonathan previously told PEOPLE. “She just makes it fun and she knows how to win, so let’s go for two Mirror Balls in a row!”

Bring it on, Drew and Emma. More at People.

Dancing With The Stars Gleb Savchenko And Sasha Pieterse Working Long Hours Without Breaks (New Interview)

Gleb Savchenko says new Dancing With The Stars partner, Sasha Pieterse, is a really hard worker. They will go for four straight hours without a break. Here is more in detail from US Weekly….

“I’m 100% competitive. Everyone has been so nice and friendly so that aspect I don’t think will change. But like, I’m going to win,” the Pretty Little Liars alum, 21, exclusively told Us Weekly at the season 25 announcement in NYC earlier this month.

“Sasha is a really hard worker. We literally will have no breaks,” her pro partner, Gleb Savchenko, chimed in. “We’ll go four hours, a straight four hours. She puts on her shoes and takes them off at the end of rehearsal. Standing in high heels.”

She’s already hurting from the strenuous workouts, though. “[I’m] so sore. Ice baths and sore in places that I didn’t even know were possible. That is a challenge, but I feel like it’s awesome and it’s conditioning,” she added to Us. “There is no turning back now, but I’ve been having so much fun.”

Pieterse’s parents were professional dancers, but says that she doesn’t have much experience herself. “I think I have rhythm but all of the technical stuff I don’t so Gleb has been helping me,” she explained. “He’s amazing. He’s such a great teacher and partner.”

I’m getting so excited to see everyone dance on Monday. To read the full article, see US Weekly.

Below is a Q & A with Debbie Gibson and Alan Bersten. Note how Marilu Henner encouraged Debbie to dance. Too awesome and I have a feeling they will make up for not practicing yesterday.

PS: BTW, Debbie is suppose to be on “Steve” today. Not sure if they will release a video. Be watching here in case they do.

ETA: You can also read how Lyme Disease could impact Debbie’s chances on Dancing With The Stars at People.

Dancing A Whole Other Dynamic For Nick And Vanessa Lachey (New DWTS Interview)

Vanessa Lachey talked with US Magazine about Dancing With The Stars and how it’s effecting her relationship with her husband Nick. She says they are not in competition with each other and they just want to have fun. Here is a take. Be sure to read more at the link.

“We don’t practice dancing with each other but it is nice because of the massages,” Vanessa told Us. “I’m like, I’ll rub your feet you rub my feet. That is fun. It really is another layer to our relationship. I can’t wait for the first live show, and I can’t to watch him. We did a little show the other day, we were at the same studio, and Maks and I came in and they showed us a little bit of their routine and we showed them a little bit of what we learned.”

She added: “It would be fun if we all made it to the finals.”

Vanessa admitted that she doesn’t really enjoy the gym, though. Luckily, Chmerkovskiy, 37, has no intention of pushing her to the extreme like her past “intense trainers.”

“It kind of seems childish. You have these grownups come, they signed on to do a show. It’s not like we’re in a summer camp together, and here I am making them do warmups and pushups and all that. It’s not me man,” he told Us. “I want to do my best and I want her to do her best too so we can do our thing. When I speed things up faster and faster, I know that there’s a leg that is able to do it. What is the point of pushing someone that I know for a fact that some of these people cannot be pushed? If you push, it’s going to break, and nobody wants that.”
