Cool New ABC Promo With DWTS Season 25 Teasers, Other Hints On The New Season
Check out the cool Dancing With The Stars Season 25 clips in this new ABC promo below. They are cool. Speaking of TV Guide, don’t miss reading an article on everything we need to know on the new season HERE. Below are a few takes that are interesting. See the link for more.
“There aren’t many celebrities with large amounts of dance experience. I think it will be one of the most competitive seasons we’ve had in a long time,” executive producer Joe Sungkur told TV Guide.
“I really think that the playing field is level,” executive producer Ashley Edens agrees.
Season 25 also has some of the best themed nights planned, from the tried and true Disney Night to a few surprises themes further down the road.
“We’re doing Disney Night at the halfway point of the season which is week five. We’re also doing A Night at the Movies,” Ashley Edens says. “Week three we are doing Guilty Pleasures, which should be a ton of fun. We’re going to learn a lot about the cast — what they love, what they hate to admit they love. We have the Trio Round, where we’re hoping to bring back a former celebrity. We’re going to potentially do an Iconic Dances Night, where our couples will repeat, reimagine, reinterpret an iconic dance from earlier seasons.”
And what is Sasha up to for a future project?
Meanwhile, Sasha Farber is making the opposite move, moving from pro to the troupe so that he can focus on another future project.
Here’s that new ABC promo…
Thanks! I can’t see the promo yet, but hope to later!
Well, that Sasha Farber news cheers me very much!
Question though, I read the blurb here about Trio night differently. Just a mistake or is there just 1 particular “former celebrity” that they are trying to include in a dance? Like Drew Lachey with his brother and Peta.
What “future project” is Sasha working on? He seemed pretty upset during the pro reveal on twitter, so it didn’t seem like it was his choice to step down to a troupe member. He also liked a bunch of comments saying that he should have been a pro so I feel like he didn’t choose to step down himself to focus on a project. But I guess there may have been something I missed so I’m just curious what makes you think that he is in troupe to “focus on another future project.”
I hope to be wrong, but there is noway I think it was Sasha’s choice to go back to troupe. ABC is putting that out because there was a lot of fan outrage. With how many different celebrities dances the troupe is now involved in plus opening numbers and bumpers, I can’t believe it would open up much extra time to do other things. I’m happy Sasha is back and with all the troupe has to do now I think they get more airtime than any pro who is an early out, just not as much money.
We’ll find out eventually, PJC, if Sasha does indeed pop up with another project. I tend to agree with you though.
