DWTS Tom Bergeron To Host July Fourth Celebration “A Capital Fourth”

Just a TV heads up!!! Dancing With The Stars host Tom Bergeron will be hosting this year’s July Fourth celebration at the National Mall called “A Capital Fourth“. Other stars lined up to entertain are Barry Manilow, John Williams, Darren Criss, Megan Hilty, Candice Glover and Scotty McCreery. Karina Smirnoff Dazzles Red Carpet At Columbia Pictures’ ‘This Is the End’ Premiere

Last night, she graced the Red Carpet at the Premiere of Columbia Pictures’ ‘This Is the End’ at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, California. DWTS Pros Louis Van Amstel And Anna Trebunskaya Live It Up In Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Thanks to Kathy Manabat and on behalf of photographer Jay Schwartz, below are some fabulous takes of “Dancing with the Stars” pro-dancers Louis Van Amstel and Anna Trebunskaya as they vacationed together at Casa Dorada Los Cabos Resort & Spa in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico recently. According to Kathy, Louis taught his LaBlast Master Classes at the resort. Louis and Anna also spent time relaxing poolside and on the beach fronting Casa Dorada, taking in spa massages and enjoying meals at the resort’s 12 Tribes restaurant. They look like they are having the time of their lives, don’t they? We are wondering why we weren’t invited to cover this event live? Vote for Your Favorites in the PureDWTS Season 16 End-of-Season Awards!!!

 Ok gang, now that the hype has had some time to die down…it’s time to vote for your favorites & least favorites in this season’s end-of-season awards :-) Pretty self-explanatory – just select what you think is the best option for each category and submit it.  “But Courtney, you don’t have my favorite listed!!!” Yes, there is an option for write-ins…HOWEVER…

…after the absolute chaos that was the HUNDREDS of write-in votes last season, I’m going to really crack down on the write-in votes.  If you absolutely MUST write-in a response other than the ones we have listed (and I took great pains to include the responses that I thought would be the most likely choices for each category), you MUST do so with a certain format in mind…for example, if you were trying to write in “Zendaya & Val’s Argentine tango” for the best dance, you MUST do it just like I typed it – captalize the first names of the celeb first, then the pro; throw an “&” in the middle, and then put the type of dance after that.  Examples of what not to do: “zendaya val tango” or “Zendaya tango” or “any dance Zendaya did!!!!” Yeah, especially that last one – you get to choose ONE DANCE, not 13.  Any responses that don’t fit the scheme I just laid out are getting thrown out – sorry guys, but I just don’t have the energy (or desire) to weed through 300+ nonsensical, misspelled, & obnoxious responses.  Got it? Good.  Now vote away :-) We’ll share the results in the coming weeks.  Read more..

Kym Johnson, Karina Smirnoff, Anna Rosh, Paul Barris, and Antonio Martinez Shooting New DWTS Workout DVD

Kym Johnson and Karina Smirnoff having been shooting a new Dancing With The Stars work out DVD!! Below are some photos coming out for what’s taking place “behind the scenes”. Other cast members (for what we can gather) to be included in the new DVD are Anna Rosh, Paul Barris, and Antonio Martinez. You might remember Anna from “Take The Lead”. Remember THIS TANGO SCENE with Antonio Banderas (one of the best dance movie scenes ever! If you’ve never seen this movie, see it…now! :) )? Paul Barris has been on Dancing With The Stars and Dance Your Ass Off. Antonio Martinez is an Aerialist. This is going to be fun! Thanks to @KarinaFan at twitter for all the pics!! DWTS Mark Ballas: “I wouldn’t mind cha-chaing with Jennifer Aniston”

Mark Ballas is featured in a new article in In Touch Weekly. In the new edition, he talks of how he wishes Jennifer Aniston would dance on Dancing With The Stars. He also chats about what he likes to do when he’s at home and how he’s a neat freak. Here’s a little take….

The 27-year-old is a big fan of the Friends star and says that the soon-to-be-wed star is not just his celebrity crush, she’s also his dream DWTS partner. “I think she’s cute, I think she’s funny,” Mark admitted a couple of years ago. “She’s just so sweet and so nice. I met her once, and she was very, very lovely. I should’ve said, ‘You should do Dancing With the Stars!’ But I didn’t.”

Mark, who’s won the mirror-ball trophy twice, also tells In Touch that when he’s not on the dance floor he likes to hang out at home in a comfy pair of gray sweats. And if you ever get invited back to Casa de Ballas, don’t move anything around, because this guy is a neat freak. “My house is organized because I have OCD,” he admits.

Dancing With The Stars Friends Help With Jacoby Jones Foundation Charity Event

Last night in New Orleans, LA, Jacoby Jones held his annual Basketball Foundation Charity Event to help underprivileged children. He invited his NFL friends to help out. His fellow costars and friends from Dancing With The Stars Cheryl Burke, Val Chmerkovskiy, and Aly Raisman and family also made a showing to help with the charity event (if there was anyone we missed, let us know). Below are a few pictures. Cheryl Burke also took pictures if you’d like to see more here. Another game will take place today if you are in the area and are interested in attending.

DWTS Troupe Member Emma Slater Lands Pro On Strictly Come Dancing

It sounds like troupe member, Emma Slater, won’t be returning to Dancing With The Stars next season? BBC News is reporting that Emma has landed a new pro position on the UK’s “Strictly Come Dancing”. She is one of four new pros replacing older pros. Below is more….

It only seems like yesterday that we dusted off the glitter of last year’s triumphant Grand Final, and now with the a new series in the not too distant future, we have news to announce at Strictly HQ.

This year we’ll be waving goodbye to Flavia, Vincent, Erin and Aliona. After many successful series entertaining the nation with their spectacular Ballroom and Latin routines, our much loved pro-dancers will be hanging up their Strictly shoes. It won’t be the last that you will see of them though, Flavia and Vincent promise to return to deck the halls with glitterballs, for the Christmas special.

So we are very pleased to reveal four new incredible professional dancers who will take to the floor in the autumn…Emma Slater
