For those fans in the Pittsburgh area: if you’d like to meet Pittsburgh Steeler Antonio Brown and his Dancing With The Stars partner, Sharna Burgess, you can do so tomorrow at 10:00am at The Great Hall at Heinz field. If you are able to go, be sure to let us know. We’d love to feature your blog or photos.
Entertainment Tonight caught up with Dancing With The Stars Sharna Burgess attended the Vanity Fair, L’Oreal Paris, & Hailee Steinfeld Pre-Oscar Party. They asked her on Nick Carter and his arrest. Sharna says he’s family and still remains supportive.
“I texted him straight away as soon as I heard,” she revealed. “He told me really what was going on and it’s just a shame that these things get splashed all over the media, blown out of proportion and taken the wrong way. He’s such a good person.”
“Once I heard his story it all made sense,” she continued. “You know, like I said, he’s family to me. So, the minute I heard I texted him to make sure he was OK and to get the true story. You never know what you hear.”

In a new interview, Sharna Burgess talks of how much fun she had dancing with Nick Carter on Dancing With The Stars. She mentions her favorite moments and more. She also talked on the new Dancing With The Stars “Dance All Night” Tour. Here is more from Mass Live….
More memorable, Burgess said, was how Carter looked out for ailing contestant Tamar Braxton during a performance. “Everybody got to see the kind of guy Nick is. He is always putting everyone else first.”
Moments like that is perhaps why Burgess calls the ABC competitive dance series “the ultimate feel good show.”
“People tune in to be inspired,” Burgess said. “People watch these celebrities… learn something from the ground up, show their flaws and not be afraid.”
In addition to patience and a supportive nature, a “DWTS” pro must be able to evolve and adapt, she said.
Choreography is not just steps, but making your celebrity partner look good, she added.
“The show is not about us. It’s about the journey that we can create for the person standing in front of us and how we teach them,” Burgess said. “There is a whole of world skill sets you need to be a successful pro on ‘Dancing With the Stars.'”
Unlike the TV series, the “‘Dancing With the Stars Live!” tour focuses on the talent of the participating pros, who include Lindsay Arnold, Alan Bersten, Brittany Cherry, Artem Chigvintsev, Valentin Chmerkovski, Jenna Johnson, Keo Motsepe, Peta Murgatroyd and Emma Slater. Season 21 contestant Alek Skarlatos will also take part.
“It is self-indulgent. It is everything we want to do at our very best – everything creative that we have been waiting to do,” Burgess said. “It is is the ultimate tour for us to shine.”
The tour kicks off Dec. 15 in West Valley City, Utah, and comes to the 1,500-seat Shubert Theatre in Boston on Jan. 7 and the 10,000-seat Mohegan Sun Arena for two nights, Jan. 8-9. Tickets for VIP packages with meet and greet opportunities are available through dwtstour.com
“There is nothing like performing before thousands of people in front of you,” Burgess said. “I cannot wait to come to the Mohegan Sun and see those amazing 10,000 faces in front us entertained by what we are doing.”
Burgess, who began dancing at the age of 5, is no stranger to live performances. She took part in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games closing ceremony and was a lead dancer in “Burn The Floor” on Broadway and the world tour.
“The live stage is where I feel most at home,” Burgess said. “I feel the buzz of the audience and it charges me. I am so lucky to get do do what I love.”

DWTS Season 21 Nick Carter, Sharna Burgess, Derek Hough, And Bindi Irwin Interviewed And Dance On The View
Part of this interview got cut off at the end, but, here’s what Al could get us. Thanks Al!!
Sharna Burgess has written a new blog at Hollywood Life. She writes of how proud she is of Nick this week and what’s happening in his life. She also gives a tiny preview for what’s taking place for their next dances. Read more below and at the link.
Nick really brought all of his emotion to the dance tonight. He didn’t want to watch the video package that aired just before the dance because he didn’t want to get too overwhelmed, but I saw in his eyes and in all of those moments as we were dancing the love that he has for his for his wife and how much this meant to him. And at the end of the dance when he dropped to one knee because he was so overjoyed with everything that’s happening in his life — it was truly a beautiful moment! All I could do was try to find Lauren to go there and be next to him; they are just such a beautiful couple and love each other so much. I am so happy about the news that a new Backstreet Boy is coming to the family; what an amazing reveal! I know he will be an incredible dad, and I’m so excited for him to start this new journey with Lauren. As his coach, I couldn’t be more proud of him, and as his friend, I couldn’t be happier for him.
Next week, we have a whole new challenge that we have never before on the show where we have to travel to another city with another couple. We have to watch a show, and create another number inspired by it to perform next Monday as well as an individual competition dance so it going to be really intense and a lot of pressure, but I know Nick can handle it. We’re also really excited to be working with this particular couple (to be announced!) as we absolutely adore them and they are so talented.
We posted this news last week, but, we’d like to do so again as it’s for such a great cause. Read on how Dancing With The Stars Sharna Burgess is helping the Children’s Miracle Hospital Network and how you can do so as well!
