Access Hollywood caught up with judge Carrie Ann Inaba at the Emmy Awards last night. She had a few things to say about the premiere of Dancing With The Stars tonight and how the judging is going to be tougher this season. She said, “It’s going to be an intense season and they are going to look at detail”. She also talks of who she has her eye on and more (is she going to fair this season? I hope so. In my opinion, if she was going to mention a few people last night, she should mention them all?).
At the Emmy’s last night, Dancing With The Stars host Tom Bergeron made some comments about Maks Chmerkovskiy and if he was leaving the show. Tom was also asked on who he thought the front runner would be on Dancing With The Stars this season. I love what Tom said on both subjects. Always the class act. Details below….
“I talked to him yesterday,” Bergeron said of Chmerkovskiy. “He said it was taken out of context… it was end of his contract. I would fully understand that, but he’s going to be with us beyond this season.”
Chmerkovskiy is on contract through 2013, and Bergeron says that means there will be at least two more seasons of him on the show.
As for his pick for the frontrunner of the All-Stars season, which has six previous winners coming back to the ballroom, Bergeron was tight-lipped.
“If I answer, I’ll piss off 12 people,” he said.

ADDING: Good Morning America talked with Tom on his Emmy and the premiere of Dancing With The Stars. You can watch it here.
The cast and crew of our show are in their last minute preparations. The Daily Mail has some great takes of some of them arriving and leaving rehearsals yesterday. We’ve included a few pics above of Pamela Anderson and Bristol Palin, but, the link has more. Note how Bristol seems to have darkened and cut her hair (hmm, I think liked it better before?)? PopTVDotCom was also able to capture some footage from the Dancing With The Stars rehearsal parking lot which you can view below. Note how Karina says she won’t be going to the Emmy’s tonight. Instead she and Apolo will be rehearsing. One more day! This is getting really exciting now, isn’t it?!! Yay! 🙂
Dancing With The Stars co-host Brooke Burke is gracing the cover of October’s Shape Magazine. Enews and Access Hollywood give us a sneak peek and Brooke tells viewers how she’s able to keep her amazing figure. Below is the Access Hollywood video. You can view the E News video here. Shape Magazine is currently available on news stands everywhere. Be sure to pick up a copy. The pic above is stunning, isn’t it? I hope we get to see Brooke dance in all star exhibition dance. Wouldn’t that be fun?
Check out Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Peta Murgatroyd, Chelsie Hightower, Helio Castroneves, Carrie Anne Inaba, and Kym Johnson of Dancing With The Stars! Last night, they attended the 2012 Entertainment Weekly Pre-Emmy Party Presented By L’Oreal Paris at Fig & Olive Melrose Place in West Hollywood, California. Sabrina Bryan, Shawn Johnson, Val Chmerkovskiy and Anna Trebunskaya were also in attendance. You can view more fun photos of them all at Zimbio Pictures and Getty Images. Gorgeous! What do you think? Henry of PopTVDotCom has some coverage too…
ADDING: Celebuzz caught up with Kym, Maks, and Peta at this event. They comment on the show, the nerves, and the pressure. Maks also comments about leaving the show after his contract is up.
The celebrities from Dancing With The Stars All Stars sit down to answer tweets from the fans. Below are a couple from Drew, Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas, and Kelly Monaco for why they decided to dance again. You can watch more of them at Disney ABC.
In a video interview at People.com, Gilles Marini talks of how things will be different this time when he dances on Dancing With The Stars. He also talks of wanting to go to the end to make people smile including his daughter. Below is a take, but, be sure to watch the video People.com.
“This time, I’m going to try to be more flexible, and probably more energetic and less scared of what’s going to happen next,” he says. “Do I need to get better than the first time over? I probably will try my best, just because it’s my nature. I want to work everything I have in my body.”
But at the end of the day, his fight to the finish is for than just personal satisfaction.
“I want to go to the end for the smile of my daughter [Juliana] having a blast, knowing her father is doing something she can finally watch,” Marini explains. “I just want to make people smile … It’s not about me. It’s about the 20 million people who would watch. I’m going to go through what I’m going to go through, but I’m going to do the best that I can.”
ABC has released a brand new promotional video for the Dancing With The Stars All Stars!!! The video below includes “exclusive” footage” to highlight Monday night’s show. Our host Tom Bergeron is in rare form as always as he walks us through the night and also gives a preview for “Castle”. BE PREPARED FOR….
Mark Ballas has penned his first blog for Dancing With The Stars Season 15 at USA Today! He talks of how intense the competition is going to be and preparing Bristol for the show. He also dishes on what will be different with her this time including “sexier moves and costumes”. Three more days and counting, All! 🙂
Being partnered with Bristol again has been fun. It’s like we never missed a day and, like most good friendships, we picked right up where we left off. We spent most of our training time in Arizona and have been rehearsing this past week in L.A. around the rest of the cast. I thought it was important that we get adjusted and ready for competition, and being in the same environment with the other couples has definitely helped us prepare.
What I think will be different this time around with Bristol is that she’s coming out of her shell a lot more. She’s also been more welcoming to sexy moves and costumes. I’m really hoping people can see how far she’s come with letting her personality out and digging into the dances rather than tiptoeing around them. We have for sure been working really hard on rhythm, timing and attitude.
Our first dance is cha cha, and it’s going really well. We have had three weeks to get BP moving and comfortable, especially back in her dance heels, and I know it will translate come Monday night.
