Cloris Leachman Would Like To Do Dancing With The Stars All Stars (Video)

This news is from Celebuzz. I’m not sure if Cloris is serious, but, you never know?

“I want to be [on it]!” the 86-year-old told Celebuzz at the Critics’ Choice TV Awards. “I was voted off on the sixth show. It was good that I was voted off then — I got kind of tired and it was appropriate. I was getting fours and fives from the judges. I thought that wasn’t quite fair — I thought I was better than a four! Four and three quarters, at least.”

I liked Cloris, but, I think I’d rather see the better dancers compete. What do you think?

Drew Lachey Would Be Open To Doing Dancing With The Stars All Star Season

Ryan Seacrest interviewed Drew Lachey on his radio show today. Drew made an announcement for how 98 Degrees are reuniting for a performance this summer. He also talks about fatherhood and doing Dancing With The Stars again. More below and thanks to PureDWTS reader Jane for sending this news to us. I loved Drew when he danced. I’d be game. How about you?

On ‘Dancing with the Stars’:
Being the season 2 champ, will Drew be coming back for the All-Star cast in September? “I don’t know. I think it’s happening in September, so I’m sure they’re a long way off from finalizing the cast. I don’t know if they’re going to bring back winners, whether it will be runners-up, I don’t know. It’s something I enjoyed doing, I had a blast doing it, I’d be open to doing it again, but I just don’t know how it’s all going to play out. We’ll have to wait and see,” he tells us.

Gilles Marini Will “Probably” Do Dancing With The Stars All Stars If He Can Work Out His Schedule

Access Hollywood caught up with Gilles Marini at the 2012 Monte Carlo TV Festival yesterday. In the new interview, he tells them he’s been asked to join the “Dancing with the Stars” All Star season “a long time ago”. The question for him is, “Can he do it” since he’s working every day on tv shows? He loved doing Dancing With The Stars the first time. Can it happen again… “We’ll see”, he says. “If things work out”, “yes”, he’ll probably do the show. He’d want to stay loyal to Cheryl Burke and dance with her. It will be a “battle” if the producers want him to dance with someone else. He has more thoughts on dancing the first time and judge Carri Anne Inaba. Lots more below….

OMG, this is good news for my morning. I’m ready for my day now. 😀

Mike Catherwood On DWTS All-Star Season, Money Is A Huge Motivator

Season 12 contestant Mike Catherwood tells Celebuzz he wouldn’t be interested in coming back for the All-Star Season of Dancing With The Stars, but, there “is a catch”….

Mike Catherwood may have been the first celebrity eliminated from ABC’s Dancing With the Stars during season 12, but with an “All Star” season now in the works, the radio DJ says he’s willing to foxtrot back into the ballroom. The only catch: he wants a hefty paycheck.

With the DWTS hoofers reportedly guaranteed $125,000 for the first two weeks, the Loveline with Dr. Drew co-host — who had been partnered with Lacey Schwimmer during his original run — tells Celebuzz: “I don’t want to go back, but if they pay me, yes. Money is a huge motivator.”

What do you think? Would you be interested in seeing Mike dance again? I think I’d rather have other celebs come back to dance, but, by all means use Mike in some spoof segments like the one below. Remember this? This has to be one of the funniest moments on this show. Would you agree? Too funny!

Tony Dovolani, Peta Murgatoyd, Maks And Val Chmerkovskiy Discuss DWTS All Star Season And More

Extra posted a fun interview with Maks, Peta, Val, and Tony at Dance With Me Studios. Peta discusses her “rags to riches” story on Dancing With The Stars and how it’s great having Maks’ support when asked. The four also talk about Dance With Me Studios and the Dancing With The Stars All-star Season for who they’d like to see return. Nice!! I love their picks! The only thing wrong with this interview is that it’s too short!

Kurt Warner Shuts Down The Idea Of Coming Back For Dancing With The Stars All-Stars

Sorry, it’s a “no” from Kurt Warner for the Dancing With The Stars All-Star Season. Although the experience was a great one, the time required to put into it would be hard on him. Below is more in a take from Ology.com.

Sorry, football fans. There will be no such talk about that with Kurt Warner over here. Instead, when I got the chance to talk with Warner during the USA Network Upfronts I asked him what so many Dancing with the Stars fans would want to know: Will he be making a return to the ABC series for the upcoming All-Star season? With an extremely adorable and kind grin, he–well, he shut us down folks.

“A lot of people tweeted about that to me a while ago. Is it really happening? They are doing one?” he asked excitedly. Yep, they are! Though happy to hear that old contestants will be hitting the dance floor again, he did what we were hoping he wouldn’t! He shrugged those (big) shoulders of his and disappointingly withdrew his name from consideration.

“I don’t think so,” he said. It was a “great experience” but working 7-8 hours a day was definitely a killer for the NFL quarterback and MVP.

Louie Vito Still Has Something To Prove If Asked To Do Dancing With The Stars All Star Season

We had a fan named Byrl write to us about Season 9 contestant Louie Vito. Recently, he asked him if he would be interested in returning for the All-Star edition of Dancing With The Stars. Louie told him that he was “available” and still had “something to prove”. Furthermore, he’s in prime shape. Here are some highlights from what Bryl wrote to us below in catching us up on ‘all things’ Louie Vito since he was on Dancing With The Stars in Season 9.

Byrl: Louie Vito is on the verge of being #1 in the world of Half Pipe Snowboarding. Last year he changed up his training and reported in at WinningFactor.com. He was there for 5 weeks. When he reported in, the owner told Louie he was not in shape at all when Louie thought he was. Louie was chasing everybody and this included NFL Football players and towards the end of the 5 week training program everybody was chasing Louie. He had bypassed them all.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Louie Vito embodies style, power, skill and determination. Vito has won four of the past five U.S. Grand Prix Overall Championships, four X Games medals, two time Winter Dew Tour Cup Overall Champion and has made the podium at seventeen of the last twenty major contests since the Vancouver Winter Olympics. With his remarkable presence on the half pipe and endeavor…s off the mountain, he has cemented his place as one of the greatest snowboarders of his generation.

Vito is currently the reigning Winter Dew Tour Overall Champion and U.S. Grand Prix Overall Champion. When Vito is not landing arduous “double corks” and 1080s he is working on his endurance and strength training. Vito recently showed how important a strong body can be in snowboarding when he was selected for the prestigious ESPN Magazine’s “Body Issue.” Also, recently Vito was chosen to be the face of competitive snowboarding for Red Bull.

On being invited to do the Dancing With The Stars All Stars….

…he told me in a message, that “I am available and I have something to prove. I am still in my prime” and he knows that he will do better than he did before. One thing about it Chelsie Hightower would not have to worry about him being in physical shape.

Thanks Byrl! Keep us posted on Louie!!

Erin Andrews Has Had Some Discussions To Do Dancing With The Stars All-Stars

Erin Andrews tells Hollyscoop.com that she’s been in “discussions” to come back for the All-Star season of Dancing With The Stars, but says she’s going to be covering football at that time. However, Dancing With The Stars didn’t stop her before, did it? More below…

Erin is also a Dancing with the Stars alum, and with talks of there being a DWTS reunion show, Erin would make a top candidate.

“We have had some discussions, but I am going to be doing some football around that time, I always do football so yeah,” Erin tells us.

Of course her role as co-host of ESPN’s College GameDay comes first. Ballroom dancing! Psh!

You can read the full article at Hollyscoop.com.

I liked her and Maks dancing together at the time, but, I’d rather see some of his other partners dance. What do you think: Yes or No?

Would Ralph Macchio Do Dancing With The Stars Again?

People.com has a nice little article posted about Ralph Macchio guest starring on Wednesday’s Happily Divorced finale. They also asked him he’d “be reaching for his dancing shoes once more” for the upcoming new All-Stars season on Dancing With The Stars? Below is a take for how he answered back.

“I would be flattered and privileged for them to ask me, and I think that on that day I would take a look,” he says. “I always enjoyed creating and telling stories with dance.”

He’s also “friends for life” with his former ballroom partner, pro Karina Smirnoff, but with all that, when pressed he admits that he’s not “dying to jump back onto the dance floor,” adding, “If I was 25, it would be a little bit easier. It’s a lot tougher to be over 40 and do that show.”

Still, should it happen that he’s selected for a parquet encore, “I said to my wife, ‘I’m gonna have to shave my head, do a little tanning and start throwing that football around if I want to go back,’ ” says Macchio, in reference to past winners Hines Ward, J.R. Martinez and Donald Driver. “At the end of the day … it’s a show.”

Oh, I so hope he does the show if asked again. If he were to say “yes”, please let the judges treat him right this time.
