Q: What is your favorite vacation destination?
A: It would have to be split between London and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I love the art, history, theater and fashion in London and the fact that everything is in English. You can’t beat that. And the beauty of beaches, amazing resorts, food and friendliness of locals are so attractive in Cabo San Lucas. They’re both amazing.
Q: Where are your favorite weekend getaways?
A: New York City, San Francisco and Northern California and Las Vegas.
Q: What are your favorite hotels?
A: I have traveled a bit, so I do appreciate a beautiful hotel. My favorites would be the Casa Dorada (casadorada.com) in Cabo San Lucas; the Palazzo (palazzo.com) in Las Vegas; the Phoenician (thephoenician.com) in Scottsdale, Ariz.; the Ritz-Carlton (ritzcarlton.com) in Philadelphia; the Gramercy Park Hotel (gramercyparkhotel.com) in New York City; the Fairmont (fairmont.com) in San Francisco; the InterContinental (icchicagohotel.com) in Chicago; the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee (thepfisterhotel.com); the Hotel Du Pont (hoteldupont.com) in Wilmington, Del.; and the Fontainebleau (fontainebleau.com) in Miami.
Q: What are your favorite restaurants?
A: In California, Zane’s (zanesrestaurant.com) in Hermosa Beach; Sashi (sashimb.com) in Manhattan Beach; Aroma Bakery & Cafe (aromabakery.com) in Encino; Asia De Cuba (tinyurl.com/4bwvepr) in Los Angeles and The Little Door and The Little Next Door (thelittledoor.com) in Los Angeles. I also like Wagamama (wagamama.com) in London; Le Procope (www.procope.com) in Paris; and Mix (mandalaybay.com/dining/mix.aspx) in Las Vegas.
So, have any of you been to these places and were they cool to visit?? I’ve been to San Francisco, New York City, Chicago, and Las Vegas. All great cities I’d highly recommend seeing in different ways depending on your interests!!
