I admit that I wasn’t really wow’d by the Ballas Hough performance by Mark and Derek. The dancing was entertaining, but I was hoping for a little more. In fact, I was hoping that they’d have the other professional ballroom dancers perform. That would have been really cool I think.

That said, the song “Move” is pretty good and really takes Ballas Hough into a completely different area of music. You can download “Move” by Ballas Hough on iTunes and Amazon.

I found some video and pictures (and a review, and a blog) about the show last night in Iowa.  It sounds like it was a lot of fun – very jealous of the attendees.

Then we saw Shawn, Mark, and Derek Hough. Then, Lacey Schwimmer walks into our area wearing some workout pants and her sports bra. Very nice! Apparently, dancing creates fantasic abs. Jennifer caught me looking, but I think I get a pass considering Derek and Mark apparently refuse to wear shirts backstage.

I’ve only found one set of videos for this show thus far, thanks to Blazing1010. I’ve copied a couple of them, below, but there are a total of 13 on his/her YouTube channel.

UPDATE: A new report says that Derek Hough has talked to the people from Footloose, but no agreements have been made. We’ll keep updating as we get more information.

Derek Hough calls into Elliot in the Morning and discusses Mark’s “wardrobe malfunction”, Lil’ Kim and he and Julianne both being in the running for starring roles in the Remake of Footloose.  Hopefully, one of the Hough’s get lucky today!

Derek directs a music video set to the Ballas Hough Band’s song Do You Love Me. The video stars many of the celebrities and professional dancers from this seasons DWTS, in addition to brief appearances by Tom Bergeron, Samantha Harris, Shannon Elizabeth, Joanna Pacitti, Rascal Flatts and Boyz II Men. Many people already know that Mark Ballas, Derek Hough and Julianne Hough all have record deals. So, some might argue that they are each stars in their own right. I’d say that Julianne Hough is a star in her own right and Mark and Derek are well on their way to becoming stars.

Either way, fans of the 3 will really enjoy the following videos of the Ballas Hough Band performing at the Grove after the Dancing with the Stars taping. I’m told that they’ll be performing each Tuesday that the Grove. The Grove is a pretty cool place right next to where they tape Dancing with the Stars and you’re very likely to see other stars and professionals from Dancing with the Stars if you attend.
