Former President Bill Clinton was a guest on the Rachel Ray show today. One of the audience members asked him if he’d ever do Dancing With The Stars. He said they asked him once, but, he said no since he wouldn’t have the time to train. Coincidently, Hillary asked him recently if he’d like to take dance lessons which he’d like. He’d love to master the “Tango”. You can see a video here of him talking about it.
I wish he’d reconsider. Bill Clinton would be fun to see dance on the Dancing With The Stars!!
I'm a fashion and music nut....and I have always loved dancing too of any kind. Dancing With The Stars seems to have this way of bringing all of those things together. Derek Hough (one of my favorite dancers) said at a recent Get Healthy event that ‘dancing’ is an outward expression of what is going on inside you. Marc Malkin from E-Online wrote in his blog that Derek could be the next Justin Timberlake. But, at the “Waiting For Forever” premiere in L.A, Anna told E Online that Derek is “really a triple threat”. Read her explanation below. Also, check out how Anna would like to have Bill Clinton on the show. I’d love that too.
“He’s really a triple threat,” Hough’s pro pal Anna Trebunskaya told us at the premiere of Waiting for Forever. “He’s a great actor, dancer, he can sing… I’ve actually seen him three years back before Dancing With the Stars on the West End in London and he was the lead in Footloose and he was excellent!”
Sound’s like Hough may have what it takes to join Hollywood’s exclusive triple-threat club, which already includes gorgeous guys like Social Network star Justin Timberlake and Mr. Wolverine himself Hugh Jackman.
“I’m going to miss Derek a lot [though],” says Trebunskaya. “I love Derek. I love his energy, his perfect hair, always perfect, but I’m very happy and excited for his new project. He totally deserves great things because he’s awesome.”
And although Trebunskaya tells us there’s no word on which pro dancers will be coming back for DWTS’ upcoming season, there is one famous face she’d love to see on the show.
“You know what would be kind of cool, and the person would win hands down, would be Bill Clinton,” she laughed. “I’d be his partner! He has a charm. He’s an old fox.”
