Brooke tweeted the pic above with the title “Happy Holidays…..under the mistletoe”. It must be such a relief to be cancer free and feeling stronger and stronger with every day. Dancing With The Stars Brooke Burke Charvet Preparing For Surgery This Week

Hey All! Keep your thoughts and prayers with Brooke Burke Charvet! This week the Dancing With The Stars co-host is preparing to have her thyroid removed. As previously reported, a nodule was discovered on her thyroid and after a series of tests, it was determined to be cancerous. Below is what she wrote at her Facebook yesterday in preparation….

To My Wonderful FB Fans,

I am touched and appreciative to all of you for sharing your positive wishes for my surgery, and for sharing many of your personal thyroid experiences. I really do read your comments and they all mean a lot to me. I’m getting ready this week for my surgery and am planning on a speedy recovery. I’ll be posting some new blogs on ModernMom.com about how I’ve been dealing with it all and how my family has been handling it too. What a crazy time, but I am surrounded with love and support and that really makes a world of difference. Thank you for following me and for all your thoughts and prayers. I feel it, truly, and your energy outweighs my stress! From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

ADDING: US Weekly interviewed Brooke on her upcoming surgery. She explains how she told her children. She also says she’s not afraid anymore. More below and at the link. Her strength is incredible and so inspiring….

So I’ve stocked the house up, I’ve done all my grocery shopping, I’ve made a few meals and the fridge is stocked with leftovers. I’ve organized all my children’s schedules and downloaded a few books,” she said. “I’ve packed my bag; I’m pretty much prepared and ready . . . with a lot of faith, a hopeful mind and the intent to have a speedy recovery.”

“I’m not afraid anymore,” she added. “I think I’ve been dealing with it so much the past couple months that now I’m ready to just get it done and put this behind me. My only need is being ok for my husband and my children so they don’t have to go through any pain and making this as easy as possible for them.”

ADDING2: Brooke’s surgery is over. Below is what she just posted at her facebook….

I’m resting, recovering. Surgery went well. Dr Adashek is a genius. Thx Dr!

Dancing With The Stars Tony Dovolani, Melissa Rycroft, Derek Hough, and Shawn Johnson had some special words and love to share about their friend Brooke Burke today in reaction to her Cancer Diagnosis.

Dancing With The Stars Co-Host Brooke Burke-Charvet Reveals She Has Thyroid Cancer

Today Dancing With The Stars co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet released a video at her Modern Mom You Tube channel to announce that she was recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She explains that a nodule was discovered on her thyroid and after a series of tests, it was determined to be cancerous and her thyroid will have to be removed. Below is more in detail. Let’s hope and pray she will be ok!

Brooke Burke Charvet Talks Of The Tight Competition On Dancing With The Stars With KTLA

Dancing With The Stars co-host Brooke Burke Charvet was a guest on KTLA today. She thought for sure Derek Hough and Shawn Johnson had this competition in the bag when the show first started, but, now she’s not so sure. The level of competition is tighter and at a higher level than she expected with free style moves thrown in the dances, etc. “It’s insane” and she’s glad she isn’t dancing this season. Dancing With The Stars Brooke Burke-Charvet To Co-Host 2013 Miss America Pageant

Congratulations to Dancing With The Stars co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet. According to ABC, she and “The Bachelor’s” Chris Harrison are set to host the 2013 Miss America Pageant. This will make the pair’s third time they’ve co-hosted the show together. Sam Haskell, Board Chairman of the Miss America Organization, called the duo a “wonderful team”. Operation Smile’s 30th Anniversary Gala Honors Brooke Burke-Charvet and David Charvet

Last night, Dancing With The Stars co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet and husband, David Charvet, attended Operation Smile’s 30th Anniversary Gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. The were honored for their contributions for the charity whose mission is to help children in need worldwide. Tom Bergeron and Tony Dovolani also made a showing to support Brooke and David. DWTS Poll: Would You Like To See Brooke Burke Dance Again, New Photoshoots, & More

If you’ve been following Dancing With The Stars co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet at twitter, you know she’s been keeping herself really busy this summer in the off season spending quality time with her husband and family. Brooke has also been promoting her new intiMINT line as well as taking part is some new photo shoots such as a “covered topless” Major League shoot which you can view at Egotastic.com. Don’t worry. It’s tastefully done (in my opinion :) ).

Brooke was also seen recently taking photos for a bikini shoot at her house in Malibu (pictured above). You can see more candid pics of Brooke behind the scenes at Actress Book.

Also, check out this recent video below at Brooke’s You Tube channel where she discusses what turns her on in a guy. She has some good advise for them too.
