If you’ve been following Dancing With The Stars co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet at twitter, you know she’s been keeping herself really busy this summer in the off season spending quality time with her husband and family. Brooke has also been promoting her new intiMINT line as well as taking part is some new photo shoots such as a “covered topless” Major League shoot which you can view at Egotastic.com. Don’t worry. It’s tastefully done (in my opinion 
).

The dancers from Dancing With The Stars aren’t the only stars of the show to be working and vacationing in Las Vegas currently. Dancing With The Stars co-host Brooke Burke was also in Sin City with her family over the weekend. She took part in the Donald Driver Charity events. She was also seen with her family at “O” by Cirque du Soleil at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino Saturday night (pictured above). You can read all about it at Vegas News. Sweet!

Dancing With The Stars co-host Brooke Burke Charvet is launching a new line of lingerie called “intiMINT“. The new line (which she models above) will include lace g-strings, briefs, boyshorts, bralettes, racerback tanks, robes, nightgowns, and separates. In promotion with the launching, there is a new interview up at Brooke’s website Modern Mom. Below is a take for why Brooke thinks Moms will love her new lingerie line.
Why do you think moms will love your new line?
I think the first thing that goes when we become mothers is our “me time” – the time we spend on ourselves. I think it’s super important for moms to bring their sexy back and to not lose their sense of self. We have to remember that we are still women!
Something as simple as intimate apparel – a beautiful pair of panties and a bra with a sexy detail – might help you feel like a sensual woman again. It can help you remember that woman behind the scenes, the woman you were before you had children. Trust me, your husband will appreciate it, but do it for your own inner Goddess too.
Lingerie is the first thing we put on in the morning and the closest things to our body. I know sometimes we only have five minutes to throw on our gear before rushing out the door to carpool, work or whatever other mommy commitment we have…. and as moms, I think we sometimes forget how sexy we are!
I want to encourage women to take style chances, add color to their wardrobe and learn to layer and have fun with the sexy pieces in the intiMINT line. Simply making the choice to dress your body in intimate apparel that is both comfortable and beautiful can make such a difference in the way you feel throughout the day!

The Award for Biggest Lack of Commitment to Week 9 – The Costuming Department who really screwed Cheryl out of some fringe on her Samba Costume
Heidi: You might ask yourself, “Are ‘biggest’ and ‘lack’ really the two best words to put together?” but really that was what was going through my mind looking at her costume. Yo, dudes, either add the fringe or don’t – you kinda half assed it here, IMO. Yep, we’re picking nits.
Courtney: Everything about the show this week was so…blah. Most of the routines were ho-hum, nobody really said anything interesting, and even the costumes seemed like they were half-assed. It was as if the costume folks bailed and headed to the bar after only putting half the fringe on her costume. “Yeah, that’ll do. C’mon, we can make it for happy hour if we leave now!” Can’t blame them…even I’m bored with the show at this point.
Heidi: Perhaps you and I should win this award. It was pretty damn boring in retrospect.
The “Most Telling Obsession” Award: Mark Ballas and his fondness for fences
Heidi: Really, dude. You’ve put Katherine in two cages and Bristol in one…is this a comment on how your attitude toward women in general or these two women in particular? Or is it just a sexual kink all the way around? Considering your girlfriend, I’m going with BOTH.
Courtney: I’m sure Freud would have a heydey trying to make something of Mark’s fixation with cages. Who knows what his true motives are – maybe he wants people to think he’s tough, maybe it makes him feel like he’s in control, maybe he just really wants us to know that he’s very, very into MMA. I’m just kinda bored with it, to be quite honest. You know it’s bad when I was actually slightly amused when he put Katherine in a snake basket for their salsa…nice change of pace 
Heidi: A cage is a cage even when it’s a basket.
I'm a nerd and proud of it. Two degrees in geology also means I love BEER. :-) I'm also a Derek lover - proud of that too. So don't scream at those of us on this site and call us a bunch of "biased Derek-lovers" - it's just ME. :-) It may sound like I hate DWTS at times, but really, I'm just a snarky nitpicker from way back. And I'm cynical and jaded too. But I do love DWTS. :-)
I don’t know why I get so excited, but I thought it was pretty cool when I heard that they were coming out with some Dancing with the Stars inspired Barbies. I was lucky enough to have the 3 DWTS barbies they created sent to me and as you can see from the above picture, my daughter and nieces loved them (aren’t they cute?).
The 3 DWTS inspired barbies are the Paso Doble Barbie, Samba Barbie and Waltz Barbie. The looks of the Dancing with the Stars Barbie were inspired by Brooke Burke, Kym Johnson, and Kathy Ireland. In our house, the Samba Barbie didn’t have enough clothes on and so it’s now a Snow White dress with the Samba Barbie. They are really well done and could be interesting collectors items in the future. Although, I couldn’t help letting my daughter not open them and enjoy them the way a Barbie should be enjoyed (we’ll see if my son enjoys them a way a son enjoys Barbies).

My favorite is the Paso Doble Barbie. The rich red dress is a nice contrast to the dark hair. I’m not sure if having Dancing with the Stars Barbies means that DWTS has gone mainstream or if it means it’s jumped the shark. Either way, I think it’s pretty cool. I wonder if they’ll come out with DWTS Ken dolls next.

First - WEEK 5
The “Can’t Carry a Tune in a Bucket” Award: Len and Bruno, for their rendition of either “Maria” or “How Do you Solve a Problem Like Maria”…we can’t be sure.
Heidi: So, the first time I saw it, I thought they were doing a little West Side Story…the second time I saw it, I’m honestly not sure. Don’t quit your day job, boys…if I can’t tell what you’re going for, you can’t sing. If I had to bet, I would call Len Sound of Music and Bruno West Side Story.
Courtney: Screw musicals…I think we’re giving them too much credit there. I think they both were just making it up as they went along and just hoping that that the audience was even less educated than they were and would just assume that they were singing a legitimate song…and the fact that they were both doing it might somehow lend creedence to their made-up tune. Whatever it was…it was dumb.
Brooke Burke Flub O’the Night: “We’ve combined your jokes with the judges scores…”
Heidi: Have you heard the one about the judge who walked into the bar?? He tried to give the barmaid a “10″ and….well, I can’t think of a good joke. But does one really need one when Brooke is around? In all fairness, she’s been better this season than previously, but her occasional tongue tripping can be entertaining.
Courtney: My aunt used to have this parrot named Joey that would repeat literally ANY word it heard - but it would do it at random times, and sometimes form sentences that weren’t quite coherent, contextually. I’m beginning to think that Brooke is the reincarnation of Joey, the way she will occasionally swap out the word she intends to use with one she has just heard or thought about If so, I fully expect her to start making the skud missile sound effect and start calling people SOB’s by season’s end…can’t wait

Gear up Kiss fans! As promised last week by Tom Bergeron, the 70′s legendary rock band will be performing next week on Dancing With The Stars. What’s more, they will be performing for both nights. Below are some more details about the songs to be performed and also details about Karina dancing with ballet dancer Jose Manuel Carreno on Tuesday. Sabrina Bryan and Kyle Massey will also be performing. Say what? Yep, see why below. It’s going to be a great week to watch the Troupe dance as well. Who’s ready?
Rock Week returns, with KISS opening the show with a spectacular performance of “Rock and Roll All Nite,” accompanied by the Troupe. Bringing lots of leather and lots of fire, the remaining ten couples will perform to some of the greatest Rock songs of all time, MONDAY, APRIL 9 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
On Tuesday, KISS hits the stage for another rockin’ performance of “Lick it Up,” with Mark Ballas, Chelsie Hightower, Henry Byalikov and Oksana Dmytrenko accompanying their performance. “DWTS” alums Sabrina Bryan and Kyle Massey will return to the ballroom with a sneak peek at their “Dancing with the Stars: Live in Las Vegas” show, which debuts April 14 at the New Tropicana Las Vegas. Also during Tuesday’s show, a special performance featuring Karina Smirnoff and one of the world’s best ballet dancers, Jose Manuel Carreno, who was a principal dancer with the Royal Ballet and the American Ballet Theatre. Their dance will be accompanied by a live performance from Gotan Project’s “Santa Maria,” the band’s U.S. network TV debut, and one more couple will be sent home, TUESDAY, APRIL10 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

CBS: Things are pretty hot on Dancing with the Stars already!
BBC: “I know, what a night on Monday! There were so many tears in the ballroom, it was such an emotional show. I cried and everybody in the ballroom was crying; the cast was crying. It was ridiculous [laughs]!
I think this is the strongest cast we’ve ever had as far as the quality of dancing goes. There’s different frontrunners every week and we have no idea who will make it to the semi-finals. Usually you kind of know early on, but everybody’s just so good. Even the bottom of the leader-board people are doing fantastic. It’s one of those very unpredictable season, but so much talent. Who knew with this cast?!”
CBS: Do you have a favorite?
BBC: “It’s really hard. I think Donald is unbelievable and he hasn’t had his shining moment yet. But he’s just such a loveable, charasmatic guy. But Gavin’s charming and loveable, Roshon’s an incredible dancer. I’m always partial to Derek and I think he and Maria had a great night Monday night. And of course Katherine already looks like a pro – it’s kind of ridiculous!
It’s a tough one this season. Honestly, for the first time ever, I can’t pick my top 2. And we usually place bets on who we think will win [laughs].”
