Chris Soules Has Been Meeting With Producers Of DWTS Over The Past Two Weeks

US Magazine reports Chris Soules is dancing on Dancing With The Stars Season 20. Furthermore, he’s been meeting with producers over the last few weeks. Read on for more.

After Chris Soules gives out his final rose on The Bachelor finale, he’ll partner up with a different woman as the 12th contestant on season 20 of Dancing With the Stars, Us Weekly has confirmed.

When the celebs competing on the 20th edition of the ABC dance competition were announced on Good Morning America Feb. 24, one name was missing — the star partnered up with dance pro Witney Carson.

DWTS host Tom Bergeron said at the time, “Her partner couldn’t rose — I mean rise so early to be here,” and now Us can confirm that his misspeak wasn’t just a slip of the tongue.

A source told Us Weekly that Soules has been meeting with DWTS producers over the past few weeks to understand what, exactly, his run on the show will entail. He even called fellow Bachelor Sean Lowe — a Dancing With the Stars alum — for advice.

“He seems like he’s not totally sure what he’s getting himself into! It will be fascinating to see how well he does,” the source said.

Soules’ partner, reigning champion Carson, who took home the Mirrorball trophy with Alfonso Ribeiro in season 19.

DWTS20 Watchout: Is The Mystery Contestant On Dancing With The Stars Season 20 Really Chris Soules?

Is the mystery contestant on Dancing With The Stars Season 20 really Chris Soules? People made some alternate suggestions in case it isn’t. Could it be one of these choices instead?: Jesse Williams, Matt McGorry, Ryan Phillippe, Chad Michael Murray, Scott Foley and BONUS: Jamie Dornan. Read the link to see how they came up with those names. Below is a take that adds to the speculation….

Many have speculated that The Bachelor’s Chris Soules is a contender for that last spot in the DWTS cast, but the farmer from Arlington, Iowa, has been very vocal about his lack of any inherent musicality.

(Remember when he rapped? Game though he was, it still may have been the most embarrassing thing to happen on a season in which one contestant had a black censor bar covering her butt’s every short-shorted move.)

However, there have been hints. When DWTS host Tom Bergeron made the cast announcement on Good Morning America on Feb. 24, he said that the last contestant “couldn’t rose – I mean, rise early enough” for the big reveal.

Furthermore, Carson posted a selfie of herself on Instagram just one day prior to the announcement in the middle of nowhere – like Arlington, perhaps – with the caption, “Just moments away from meeting my new partner!”

That said, these could all be red herrings devised by ABC to drive us all mad from speculation.

Just in case Soules is not the mystery contestant, we’ve compiled five perfectly great contenders from other ABC franchises (plus one bonus) for the DWTS producers to consider. You’re welcome! (If any of them end up getting cast, we want a finder’s fee.)

Ryan Phillippe or Scott Foley….I say YES to those two. Let us know what you think?
