Download all the Dancing with the Stars Music – Misty May Gone

UPDATE: All of the music from Dancing with the Stars will be posted as soon as possible at that link.

It was a sad day for true Dancing with the Stars fans, because Misty May is injured and no longer on the show. Still a ton of great competitors and we have no clue who is really going to win this year. However, I would have liked to see Misty May finish developing herself on the show. I felt like she never broke out in her dancing.

Ok, Misty May aside, here’s the list of all the Dancing with the Stars music from tonight’s episode of DWTS.

Misty May Out of Dancing with the Stars

UPDATE: Misty May-Treanor’s reps have released a statement to ET about the Olympic gold-winner’s injury that could affect her stint on “Dancing with the Stars.” Misty’s reps tell us she “sustained an injury on Friday and received immediate medical attention. Despite previous reports, she did not break her ankle. She is resting comfortably at home. Doctors will reevaluate her condition on Monday and determine the outcome of her participation on the show. Source

A number of sources are reporting that Misty May broke her ankle while practicing for Dancing with the Stars. This is really an unfortunate loss. I don’t think Misty May had become nearly what she could have become on the show. She never fully came out of her shell.

Rumors are saying that Keri Walsh (Misty’s volleyball partner) will take her place in the competition with Maks. Something about that idea just doesn’t feel right. I think it would be cool if Keri came for just one dance or something, but to have her replace her entirely isn’t fair to Keri or to the other dancers who have already been sent home.

Dancing with the Stars Elimination Show – September 30,2008

Check out Jessica Simpson on Dancing with the Stars. She’s gone country…ok enough of that. The Judges Choice was by far the most memorable dance from last night. I think the black pleather and Kym’s ability to lean back like the Matrix makes the Matrix dance the best.

Best, Surprise and Worst Dances

Best Couples – Translation: They have a chance of winning (along with possible some of the surprise couples below)
Misty and Maks – Misty looked ok. Her broad shoulders did make the line look different, but I can’t fault her too much for that. Maks is funny. My biggest surprise is that Misty isn’t more out there on the show. Her partner often describes her as a ham, but we haven’t really seen much of that on the show. Luckily Misty is tremendously popular.
Cody and Julianne – This couple should be called Dancing with the Stars since Julianne could be more of a star than Cody. Either way, this is a powerful duo with a nice fan following. Plus, Julianne really makes almost any dancer look better.
Lance and Lacey – Lacey is popular from So You Think You Can Dance and boy band fans seem to turn out well in the voting. Oh yeah, plus their dancing is pretty nice too. Only question is whether Lacey’s choreography will get them in trouble with the judges and cause them to lose prematurely.

Surprise Couples – Translation: I’m amazed they did so well
Warren and Kym – I honestly thought that Kim was screwed being with Warren and I thought he’d be a horrible dancer. I was wrong. I stand corrected. He’s pretty good. Maybe it was those ballet classes I hear football players like to take to make them “light on their feet.” Only problem is that Warren played d-line. I don’t think d-line takes ballet. That’s for running backs like Emmitt Smith.
Derek and Brooke – I’m really surprised that Brooke is as good a dancer as she is. The problem is that she’ll really need those good dancing scores. Only problem is that it will catch up to her at the end where everyone is getting 29s and 30s. I’m not sure Brooke is popular enough to do very well in the voting. Luckily Derek is popular in his own right.

Worst Couples – Translation: Thanks for mostly making fools of yourself for our entertainment
Susan and Tony – Honestly Susan is just hard for me to watch dance. Stiff and nothing to her. She certainly is trying hard, but it’s just not pretty.
Rocca and Karina – I really had hoped that Rocco would be better. His second dance wasn’t bad, but unfortunately he’s not going to las too long.
Cloris and Corky – I’m sad that Cloris’s humor will get her so far on the show. Her dancing makes me want to hit fast forward on the tivo. Her grade as a dancer: F- Her grade as a comedian: A++

Any couples I should have added to one list or the other?

Jeff Ross and Ted McGinley on Jimmy Kimmel

After being kicked off Dancing with the Stars, Jeff Ross and Ted McGinley were on Jimmy Kimmel with their partners Edyta and Inna. Jeff Ross pretty much stole the show. That guy is absolutely hilarious.

Enjoy the video of Jeff Ross and Ted McGinley on Jimmy Kimmel

I wonder if every star booted off Dancing with the Stars will be on Jimmy Kimmel. I expect the ritual burning of the dance shoes by Guillermo will happen each time.

Jeff Ross and Edyta Sliwinska’s Final Mambo Dance

I’ve noted my sadness about Jeff Ross and Edyta Sliwinska getting sent home, but I’m at least glad that the producers of Dancing with the Stars let us see Edyta dance again and didn’t put all of Jeff Ross’s practice go to complete waste. Here’s the mambo video of Jeff Ross and Edyta Sliwinska:

Dancing with the Stars Results Show Professional Dance

Here’s the video of the Dancing with the Stars professionals dancing on the September 25, 2008 results show:

Beautiful ballroom with some creative choreography is just wonderful to watch.
