I haven’t had a chance to listen to the whole thing yet, so I can’t give my full commentary.

Carrie Ann Inaba has written a new blog at Parade. She rates her favorite couples on Dancing With The Stars so far in the “Feel Good” and “Sexy, Sexy” categories. So far, at the top of those lists are Alfonso Ribiero and Randy Couture. Lots more at Parade including her thoughts on Julianne Hough and pictures of her fur babies.
Speaking of her fur babies, she also recently founded the Carrie Ann Inaba Animal Project (CAIAP, caiap.org) to help cats and dogs in several different ways. “I have always wanted to build a sanctuary to give animals a safe place to live out their lives,” she explains. “Since I was a young child, this has been the dream. Starting CAIAP is all about working towards that. It will take a lot of financial support to get there, but I have faith we will.” To read an article about it, see Animal Wellness Magazine.
Allison Holker has written a blog at In Touch Weekly. She’s experienced her “best moment” so far. Below is more…and note how next week, they have a Cha Cha. I just love these two!
In the middle of our live performance Jonathan and I locked eyes and just busted out laughing. Luckily, we danced a jive so the high energy, laughing and emotion worked.
We couldn’t believe that we were actually performing together on DANCING WITH THE STARS! And we both were so into the performance that our smiles were from ear-to-ear, we were genuinely having an absolute blast. It made us dance even harder.
When we looked at each other, I could feel a special light from him, and I know his father would be so proud. I am enjoying this experience so much, and Jonathan has been a perfect partner for my first experience.
Awww, I bet his Dad would have been proud too. More at In Touch Weekly including a picture.
Great stuff! I can’t get enough. So, if you were to vote for a return to the Dancing With The Stars results shows every week (which means more pro numbers) on Tuesday nights, how would you vote? I vote YES PLEASE!
My Dad will just be crushed if Cheryl Burke retires from Dancing With The Stars. She talked about it more with People. In this interview she mentions she might not retire if ABC makes an offer she can’t refuse. We’ll see.
“You’ve seen me grow up on TV, doing what I love in front of millions of people. But I also feel the need to expand and challenge myself and do other things – not that this isn’t a challenge. It completely is!”
Burke, 30, says the show, which she joined in its second season, takes up eight to nine months of the year, limiting her from spreading her wings. There’s always a chance ABC could make her an offer she can’t refuse, but Burke seems ready to see what lies beyond the mirror ball.
“It’s hard,” she professed. “What this show has given me has been life-changing. I owe my life to this show.”
More at People.
What a great results show last night!! It was so good to see the pros dancing in more numbers. Though unfortunately, someone always has to go home. The couples as well as our eliminated couple Lolo and Keo talk all about it below with Access Hollywood and Afterbuzz TV. Lolo also talked with People about her elimination at this link. E Online also has some interviews and coverage after the show (sorry I can’t embed those as they mess up the site). Lastly, ABC7 has posted George Pennacchio’s interviews from premiere night. Lots of fun things to watch and listen to when you get time today. One more thing: don’t miss seeing some pics of the pros at an after party Monday night at Just Jared Jr. Really cute!!
ETA: Afterbuzz TV is loading more Results show interviews as I type. Be sure to see them all at this link.
ETA2: Lolo and Keo’s GMA interview this morning has been added below.
Amy Purdy, Joey Fatone, Julianne Hough And More Attend Mark Ballas’ ‘Kicking Clouds’ Debut Party (Photos)
What a fun party this must have been last night for Mark Ballas’ ‘Kicking Clouds’ Debut Party. Lots of Dancing With The Stars cast members and friends made a showing like Derek Hough, Witney Carson, Emma Slater, Sasha Farber, Lindsay Arnold, and Julianne Hough. Former cast members like Amy Purdy, Candace Cameron Bure, and Joey Fatone were in attendance as well. More photos at Getty Images.
ETA: PopTVDotCom was able to catch people going in and out of party. They talked to some of them too about Dancing With The Stars. Mark’s girlfriend is so pretty. Shirley is so proud of her boy…
Yay – a results show!! Let’s hope for some great dancing!! Maybe material for cheesecake, if Courtney and I are feeling up to it.
Once again, comment to your hearts contents, as long as you remember the show night rules.
- Our server gets totally hosed when people sit at their computer and click “refresh” constantly. Post a comment, then walk away for five minutes so that others have a chance…and so that Courtney and I can actually post on the site.
- THIS SITE IS NOT TWITTER. Do not post like you are on twitter. You get one warning and then I put you in time out. We need context and content. Believe it or not there are a lot of people who don’t watch the east coast feed of the show, so they don’t know what the hell you’re talking about when you post a comment that says, “Boy, that sucked.” If you want to say “____ and ____’s dance was not good at all, crappy choreo” that’s fine. That would be context. It is good. Remember, if you post five one liners in five minutes, you’ve broken rule number 1.
Lots of fun ppl in the audience like…..RALPH MACCHIOOOOOOOOO !!! (I love him.)
Nice opening dance by the women – Allison and Whitney pretty much rule this style but they were all awesome.
Thought for sure they were gonna call Betsey safe. That they didn’t makes me question whether she actually IS safe.
So, I guess we’re putting four in jeopardy? Lea? That’s just wrong.
Allison is just a BEAST.
Oh. My. God. Derek’s screen test. Best thing I’ve ever seen. And neither he nor Julianne had a clue what was going to be shown.
Okay….The four in jeopardy are:
Michael and Emma
Betsey and Tony
Lea and Artem
Lolo and Keo
And tonight, leaving the ballroom is…..(This was a REAL BOTTOM TWO with Betsey being the other half)
LOLO AND KEO
Courtney’s Pick: Lolo and Keo
Heidi’s Pick: Lolo and Keo
Vogue’s Pick: Lolo and Keo
