Dancing With The Stars Season 18 Finals: Astrology Study And Numerology Predictions

Hi All! It’s Vogue back again to introduce another one of DonaMadrina’s fun Numerology Prediction posts. This time she analyzes the couples numbers for the Finals of Dancing With The Stars Season 18!! Dona also goes through last week’s numbers for what happened in the Semi-Finals. I’ve also included a little Astrology information in this post at the end for you to think about in mixing up things further. :) Ok, let’s get started, shall we?

Battle of the 9’s – Part II
by DonaMadrina

WEEK 9 Reviewed
So Charlie went home! :( Was that surprising to me from the numbers? Yes…and no.

As I mentioned last week, numerology is as much an art as a science. Knowing how to “read” the numbers takes years of practice, especially when there is so much duality in the charts, i.e. too close to call.

Hindsight is golden, as they say. And, darn! I wished I had talked about “Week 9’s” numbers in the verbiage of Part I. Though I included the charts, had I elaborated on them, we’d have seen an important piece of information that might have hinted at Charlie possibly being in trouble. Charlie’s elimination is much more obvious now – but this is hindsight. Read more..

I'm a fashion and music fan....and I have always loved dancing too of any kind. Dancing With The Stars seems to have this way of bringing all of those things together. One of my favorite dancing quotes at the moment: "No matter what, nobody can take away the dance you've already had...." ~Gleb Savchenko . DWTS (literally!): What the Zodiac Says About This Season’s DWTS Couples – PART 1

Another passion of mine (besides dancing, of course, and writing!) is astrology.  While I don’t put full stock in what my horoscope says everyday, I do find it interesting how on-point they are from time to time, and it’s definitely intriguing how some people really behave like their sign says they should. So why not take a look at this season’s couples and see how compatible they are? How well will they work together? Will they fight? Is there any possibility for romance? ;-) Read on and find out in part one of my series on the astrology of DWTS!

*NOTE: I am not a psychic (although that would be cool), and all of these predictions I’ve made are based on knowledge I’ve gained over the years from books on astrology.  It’s all in good fun, so please don’t get offended or take any of this to heart J

Aaron (Sagittarius) & Karina (Capricorn) – As a general rule of thumb, next door neighbor signs like these do not typically get along well, as their personalities are often very different.  Sagittarian men like Aaron are typically very flashy, exuberant, impulsive, and may seem even reckless to some; the Capricorn woman is the least “showy” lady of the zodiac, a real class act, and also one of the most cautious –  Archer Aaron’s devil-may-care attitude might not sit well with someone as forethoughtful & premeditative as a Goat like Karina.  Likewise, Aaron might feel constrained by her introspection, and want to really make a splash in the competition.  However, if they can overcome their differences and harness their respective determination (his for adventure, hers for success), they could really have a rewarding partnership.

Natalie (Leo) & Alec (Aries) – Two fire signs, oh my! This pairing could either sizzle all season long or explode into rubble after awhile. Both signs exude extreme confidence and determination, as well as similar values & beliefs.  However, both are also natural-born leaders, so they will be have to hone their compromise and communication skills to avoid some heated arguments.  There’s a definite “chemistry” between these two from the get-go; The Ram is the zodiac’s “man’s man” and the Lion woman is one of the most alluring, so look for things to really ignite in steamy dances like the rumba where they can really play into the gender roles.

Mark (Pisces) & Lacey (Cancer) – Ahhh, a watery match made in heaven.  Both are very artistic, compassionate, easygoing souls; their bond could almost be described as “dreamlike”, as their partnership seems almost effortless in terms of emotional understanding.  Expect some very sensitive, emotion-driven performances from this pair. However, there is one caveat to this otherwise perfect pairing: when Fish like Mark are frustrated and upset, they tend to become introspective and withdrawn, which frustrates a Crab like Lacey, who feels the need to talk about their feelings (remember her meltdown in season 7 with Lance?).  But their peaceful natures will ultimately make this partnership a harmonious one that could carry them through to the finale.

Tom (Aries) & Cheryl (Taurus) – Uh-oh…another partnership of ill-matched next door neighbor signs! This partnership is best described as “the tortoise & the hare”: Taurean Cheryl is patient, steady, and favors security over excitement, while Arians like Tom are impatient, adventure-seeking, and crave instant gratification.  Tom will definitely have to tone down his impulsiveness, while Cheryl may have to sacrifice some safety in favor of some excitement in order to make this partnership work.  But there is a bright side: as I mentioned before, Ram men are the masculine ideal, and earthy Bull women are the feminine ideal – so as strange as this sounds, there could actually be a good physical chemistry between these two on the floor, but more likely in dances like the waltz, where Tom can really “show off” his lady.

Macy (Virgo) & Jonathan (Taurus) – Both are earth signs, so they share a sense of practicality & cooperation, and a dislike of anything inconsistent or reckless.  Because of this, they will likely err on the side of safety in their performances – I wouldn’t expect any flashy, overtly sexual choreography or daring lifts – but they will stick to tried-and true “basics” and good execution, which will likely make them a favorite with orthodox technicians like Len.  However, Virgins like Macy have a tendency to be perfectionists and are “never satisfied” (to quote a certain nameless former pro from the show that I’ve taken a lesson or two with – he was referring to his ex-wife, who was also a Virgo!), which could frustrate slow-and-steady Bull Jonathan; likewise, she may feel a bit put off by his sometimes stubborn nature.  But being the understanding souls that they are, they should be able to work through any bumps in the road.

Ashley (Libra) & Edyta (Taurus) – A major strength of this partnership: both Librans & Taureans absolutely love anything to do with fashion, music, or art, so you can expect some to see creative choreography, fun musical choices, and interesting costumes from these two this season.  Libra men are naturally flirtatious, and the charmers of the zodiac – he will definitely be able to work the ladies in the audience into voting for him! But Libra is an air sign, and Taurus is an earth sign, and their respective elements describe them to a T: The sign of the Scales can be a bit flighty and idealistic at times, which might test the patience of a grounded, practical Bull.  These two may take awhile to really “warm up” to one another, but their mutual concern for each other’s emotional well-being will keep them from falling apart.

Melissa (Taurus) & Gemini (Mark) – Is this the season of the “next door neighbors” or what? And of all the next-door neighbor partnerships we’ve had so far, this could unfortunately prove to be the most volatile.  As I’ve said already (for the many Taurus’s we have on the show this season!), Bulls like Melissa crave stability, consistency, and commitment.  Which goes completely against the nature of a Twin like Mark, who is perpetual-motion, impatient, and not always the most consistent of souls (which his choreography often shows – he went from a season of brilliant choreography with Kristi, to quite possibility the worst mambo we’ve ever seen on the show…”Baby Got Back”, anyone?). Granted, Mark could come to respect her resolve & determination, and Melissa could be drawn to Mark’s wit & intelligence.  The long-term prognosis for this partnership isn’t great, but then again, Mark has made it work with other ill-compatible partners (Cancer Kristi & Capricorn Shawn), so I guess we’ll have to wait & see!

Kathy (Aries) & Tony (Cancer) – Opposites may attract; however, this partnership is likely to result in a lifelong, platonic friendship between the two (which is good, because they’re both married!). Bold, ambitious, competitive Aries like Kathy (she’s a successful model, actress, & entrepreneur) may feel frustrated with sensitive Cancer’s desire to “stop & smell the roses” and may even view Tony’s emotional, cautious nature as a bit of a weakness.  Likewise, a Crab like Tony is prone to hurt feelings, and may misinterpret a Ram’s impatience as anger towards him.  But Tony will likely teach Aries Kathy over time that winning isn’t everything, and in turn she will ignite a fire in him that may not have shown before.  And the gentlemanly air of a Cancer man will work wonders in smooth dances like the waltz & foxtrot, where he can really bring out the femininity of his Aries gal, who is often too caught up in work to really embrace her girly side.

So now you know what the stars have in store for 8 of our couples this season.  Tune in later this week when I analyze the astrological compatibility of the other 8 couples, and also the judges & hosts!
