DWTS Chelsie Hightower And Peta Murgatroyd’s Charity Birthday Party Part 2 (New Interviews)

Yesterday, we posted about Chelsie Hightower and Peta Murgatroyd’s Charity Birthday Party for “Unlikely Heroes” that took place in Los Angeles, California Thursday night. Today we have some video coverage of the event which includes a new interview with Peta. Peta talks of the new season of Dancing With The Stars coming up. She talks of how jammed packed a one night show is going to be. She also mentions that she’s not sure if the troupe will be back (which we’ve all been worried about. This is going to be sad if true). Lots more below…..

Below is an interview with Chelsie too….

DWTS2013 Chelsie Hightower And Peta Murgatroyd’s Charity Birthday Party (Photos)

Awwww, I love waking up to pictures of our Pros…especially if it has something to do with a Charity event such as Chelsie Hightower and Peta Murgatroyd’s Charity Birthday Party for “Unlikely Heroes” that took place in Los Angeles, California last night. Friends Sean Lowe, Donald Driver, Jake Pavelka and more all made a showing to support it as well as fellow pros Emma Slater, Dmitry Chaplin, and Sasha Farber. To view some fun pictures of this event, see Getty Images. As always, I’m loving Peta’s taste for dresses. Chelsie looks like a doll. What do you think?

Dancing with the Stars Season 16 – PRO WATCH!!

The post started getting long and confusing, so I decided to move the current standings up to the top of the page. There are supposedly 12 couples, so things can still get interesting. :-)

Current Standings:

Male Pros
Derek
Val
Tony
Mark
Gleb Savchenko
Tristan

Female Pros
Cheryl
Lindsay
Sharna
Peta??
Karina
Kym

Out For the Season
Chelsie
Anna
Maks (???)
Lacey
Louis

ETA: See Karina’s facebook and Lacey’s twitter for the source of my latest updates. Late on Saturday before the announcement and we still have some HOLES in our roster. Hmmmmm…
ETA2: DWTSGossip tells someone that Tristan is in, but doesn’t actually tweet it outright. Uncertain?

ETA3: Louis tweets that he’s not going to be on this season, which is not too big of a surprise.  An ambiguous tweet from @DWTSGossip makes us wonder if Maks really is out or not…and it appears as though Lizzie Grubman may have flown to LA yesterday.  Emma confirms she’s in the troupe again this season (and is not a pro), which leaves us wondering: who is this mysterious 12th pro??? 8-O

ETA4: And the mysterious fourth pro appears to be Gleb?? It is very obnoxious of me to say this just cuz I’ve never heard of the guy…but is this a joke??

ETA5: And I must give props to Miss Sally for picking up on the suspicious “What a beautiful day!” comment Kym tweeted at 4:26 AM Sydney time – which is actually 9:26 AM Los Angeles time…because DWTSGossip is reporting Kym is IN as the last female pro 8-) Looks like Tristan has also been confirmed as the final male pro, which leaves Maks & Henry out in the cold.  Interesting…

Confirmed Sooper Troupers
Witney Carson (according to Grant’s source)
Sasha Farber
Emma Slater

I'm a nerd and proud of it. Two degrees in geology also means I love BEER. :-) I'm also a Derek lover - proud of that too. So don't scream at those of us on this site and call us a bunch of "biased Derek-lovers" - it's just ME. :-) It may sound like I hate DWTS at times, but really, I'm just a snarky nitpicker from way back. And I'm cynical and jaded too. But I do love DWTS. :-)

Dancing With The Stars Tristan MacManus, Chelsie Hightower, Dmitry Chaplin Tango And More

Isn’t it fun to see Dancing With The Stars Tristan MacManus and Chelsie Hightower again? Above the two danced a Tango at Ohio State University at the end of January. Let’s hope this means Tristan’s injury is healing? They’ve also been dancing in Ballroom With A Twist along with Dmitry Chaplin and three members of the troupe. You can view some fun takes of them all at Ballroom With A Twist Facebook.

And speaking of Tristan, Dublin Downs has posted another interview with him where he talks of choreograping and more. You can watch it here.

Dmitry Chaplin A “Diamond In The Rough” On Premiere Episode Of Bones (Video)

Did any of you get to see Dmitry Chaplin on the premiere episode of “Bones” last night? If so, how was he?

I haven’t seen the show since I’m not really a fan, but, Dmitry fans were lighting up twitter last night raving about him. If you missed it and you’d like to watch this episode with Dmitry, you can view it at TV Show 7.

Thanks to DmitryDreamTeam at facebook for the heads up. ;)

ADDING: Below is a wonderful review by PureDWTS reader “Violet”;

Dmitry Chaplin Proves He Has Acting Chops on Bones

On January 14th, fans of both Bones and Dancing with the Stars were treated to a double dose of entertainment—DWTS pro Dmitry Chaplin guest starred on Fox’s popular drama, playing the partner of a professional ballroom dancer who was the victim in the lab’s latest case.

Dmitry’s character was named Kendrick, a sizzling hot star in the ballroom world, known together with his partner as being the best of the best. Though he was a suspect for a very short amount of time, it was quickly determined that he was not the killer…just an arrogant dancer trying to get on a TV show that would provide him instant fame and a big paycheck.

I thought Dmitry gave a great performance, which I honestly wasn’t expecting. His dancing was wonderful, of course, but the acting was what surprised me. Watching the show, I was impressed by his ability to show a range of emotions, and he was very believable in his portrayal of a hot, cocky ballroom dancer, which is so different from the gentle personality Dmitry displayed on DWTS. Maybe he modeled his character after Maks?

THANK YOU Violet!!!xxx
