Which Pro Dancers Would You Like To See Dance In Dancing With The Stars Season 17?

Ok, so you’ve had a chance to let us know your Celebrity Cast Wishes for Dancing With The Stars Season 17, but, what about your DANCE PRO WISHES for the new season? As most of you know, they are downsizing the show to only one night next season, so will this mean they downsize the number of couples too? I don’t know, but, just in case this happens and for fun, pick only 8 pros this time (4 female and 4 male) with four runners-up (2 female and 2 male) in case the cast is bigger. For example, here are my dance pro wishes….

Male:
Derek Hough
Gleb Savchenko
Henry Byalikov
Maks Chmerkovskiy (do I dare say I am missing Maks a little and I’m wondering if he learned something from having a season off and if it renewed his spirit and passion to dance?)

Female:
Sharna Burgess
Karina Smirnoff
Oksana Dmytrenko
Anna Trebunskaya (I miss our fiery Russian red head!)

In case the cast is bigger, my runners-up are:
Male: Val Chmerkovskiy or Mark Ballas (either one), Tristan MacManus
Female: Kym Johnson, Peta Murgatroyd

Wow, that was hard to narrow it down being I love them all? And to think, what if they downsize the couples to only SIX which is a possibility too? 8O I don’t even want to think about it? :(

Last night, Sharna Burgess and Peta Murgatroyd looked so lovely in red and navy blue satin dresses when they attended the Beverly Hills Lifestyle 5 Year Celebration at the Sofitel Hotel in Los Angeles, California. Brooke Burke Discusses The New Season Of DWTS And New Campaign To Help Cats

Dancing With The Stars host Brooke Burke Charvet flew to New York City to talk all about her new campaign with Purina Cat Chow. The new campaign is aimed at helping cat shelters across the country. Brooke also discusses what it’s like to juggle her career, being a cancer survivor, being a working mom, and raising 6 pets. She also discusses Dancing With The Stars and the new season. She doesn’t know much, but, she’s excited about the show only airing one night a week and being jam packed full of entertainment. More below and also HERE and HERE. Check out Drex the cat! Cheryl Burke Interviewed About Her Career, Depends, And Dancing With The Stars

In a new interview with City Toronto, Cheryl also talks of her career, her dancing mentors along the way, which style of dances she wouldn’t like to dance on Dancing With The Stars, the partner who surprised her the most, and who she’d like to dance with next season. Cruise With The Pros And Celebrity Competitors From Dancing With The Stars

What a fun time it would be to sail and learn dancing from the pros of Dancing With The Stars…especially if you are a fan to Mark Ballas, Kym Johnson, Tristan MacManus, and Lacey Schwimmer!! Also lined up are some celebrity competitors (though at this time they don’t mention who they will be). Below are some details from ABC15. DWTS Tom Bergeron To Host July Fourth Celebration “A Capital Fourth”

Just a TV heads up!!! Dancing With The Stars host Tom Bergeron will be hosting this year’s July Fourth celebration at the National Mall called “A Capital Fourth“. Other stars lined up to entertain are Barry Manilow, John Williams, Darren Criss, Megan Hilty, Candice Glover and Scotty McCreery. Karina Smirnoff Dazzles Red Carpet At Columbia Pictures’ ‘This Is the End’ Premiere

DWTS Pros Louis Van Amstel And Anna Trebunskaya Live It Up In Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Thanks to Kathy Manabat and on behalf of photographer Jay Schwartz, below are some fabulous takes of “Dancing with the Stars” pro-dancers Louis Van Amstel and Anna Trebunskaya as they vacationed together at Casa Dorada Los Cabos Resort & Spa in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico recently. According to Kathy, Louis taught his LaBlast Master Classes at the resort. Louis and Anna also spent time relaxing poolside and on the beach fronting Casa Dorada, taking in spa massages and enjoying meals at the resort’s 12 Tribes restaurant. They look like they are having the time of their lives, don’t they? We are wondering why we weren’t invited to cover this event live? Vote for Your Favorites in the PureDWTS Season 16 End-of-Season Awards!!!

 Ok gang, now that the hype has had some time to die down…it’s time to vote for your favorites & least favorites in this season’s end-of-season awards :-) Pretty self-explanatory – just select what you think is the best option for each category and submit it.  “But Courtney, you don’t have my favorite listed!!!” Yes, there is an option for write-ins…HOWEVER…

…after the absolute chaos that was the HUNDREDS of write-in votes last season, I’m going to really crack down on the write-in votes.  If you absolutely MUST write-in a response other than the ones we have listed (and I took great pains to include the responses that I thought would be the most likely choices for each category), you MUST do so with a certain format in mind…for example, if you were trying to write in “Zendaya & Val’s Argentine tango” for the best dance, you MUST do it just like I typed it – captalize the first names of the celeb first, then the pro; throw an “&” in the middle, and then put the type of dance after that.  Examples of what not to do: “zendaya val tango” or “Zendaya tango” or “any dance Zendaya did!!!!” Yeah, especially that last one – you get to choose ONE DANCE, not 13.  Any responses that don’t fit the scheme I just laid out are getting thrown out – sorry guys, but I just don’t have the energy (or desire) to weed through 300+ nonsensical, misspelled, & obnoxious responses.  Got it?
