Watch Dancing With The Stars “behind the scenes” LIVE coverage and interviews during the show below. This is always a blast…
Below is a new People Now interview with Tamar Braxton. She chats about why she wanted to learn how to dance. She also speaks about her chemistry with Val Chmerkovskiy. LOL to what she said on his music. Hilarious!
Nick Carter tells Pop Crush he and Sharna will definitely be dancing to a Backstreet Boy song on Dancing With The Stars. He also talks with them about his insecurities while performing, the competition, his new single, and lots more.
What’s your biggest insecurity while performing?
Probably the way I look. You know, how I’m perceived. I don’t know how I look or if I’m executing the moves properly. My biggest insecurity is ‘What do I actually look like as a dancer? Can I represent my group properly? Can I represent myself properly?’ This insecurity inside of me that I haven’t been the greatest dancer really stems from insecurities I developed as a little kid.
What has working with Sharna Burgess been like?
Sharna’s fantastic. She is an amazing person and she’s a great teacher. She doesn’t let up on me at all, which sometimes can get me frustrated because we all don’t like to be pushed because it’s painful. It can sometimes be brutal, but she does that. She doesn’t care what I’ve done in the past. We both have the same mentality that in order to be the best, you have to push. She’s a great teacher, a great partner and I can’t say enough about her. She’s amazing.
Who do you think your biggest competition is at this point?
I don’t really think of any one person as competition because I really think there are so many people who are good. I don’t say to myself ‘this is who I’m competing against’, because then it becomes less about what we’re doing and more about other people. I can only control what I can do. I can’t control the outcome. There are so many obstacles and all I can concentrate on is trying to be the best that I can be. We are our biggest competition.
Do you think you’ll perform one of the Backstreet Boys songs on DWTS?
Absolutely. I am very proud of being a Backstreet Boy.
How has performing with the Backstreet Boys prepared you for the physical demands of DWTS?
We work really hard and have for so many years. I’ve definitely felt some crunch time situations, some pressure where I had to just basically get up there without a lot of time to rehearse. The show must go on no matter what happens and I have had that experience. I’ve been able to apply that to the competition.

Is this not the coolest? Yesterday, in a new instagram, Dancing With The Stars Witney Carson announced she is engaged to Carson Mcallister. On her instgragram, Witney wrote: “love of four years @carson.mcallister proposed last night & I feel like the luckiest, happiest woman in the world.💍💕😍❤️ it was perfect, he’s perfect #engaged”. You can also read about it at Entertainment Tonight and US Weekly. Awwww, CONGRATULATIONS and what a beautiful picture!!
ETA: You can read about Witney’s engagement ring and more in detail for how her engagement took place at People StyleWatch. Read below and be sure to see the link for another new photo. Just stunning.
The Dancing With the Stars pro’s longtime boyfriend and high school sweetheart Carson Mcallister proposed over the weekend on the beach with a custom designed ring.
The rose gold band features a 2ct Rocky Mountain diamond and halo. Carson proudly showed off the stunning sparkler in the couple’s engagement shots.
“My high school sweetheart popped the question last night in the most perfect, beautiful way,” Carson, 21, told PEOPLE. “He was waiting for me on the beach surrounded by candles. Danced with me while the sun went down and then knelt down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Of course I said yes.”
Maybe one of these days I’ll get my numbers done some time during the week. Is anyone even HERE on a Saturday besides me? It’s cold and wet outside, and I’ve been away for weeks, so I’m enjoying myself. ETA: Being away made me miss that supposedly this weeks elimination will be the result of Week 2/Night 2 scores and votes combined with Week 3 scores and votes. The result of me adding in Week 2/Night 2 are rather interesting. Scroll to the bottom if you’ve already read the first installment.
I was working on the assumption that Gary would be the next to go, despite how entertaining he is, because he’s not a great dancer and he’s crazy and he’s been “in jeopardy” a couple times. As a refresher, remember that sometimes being in jeopardy is a warning sign and sometimes it’s meaningless…and sometimes they want the person in jeopardy to get some votes (see: Andy). We don’t usually know until the end of the season how they’re using it. Anyway, I was working on the assumption that it was Gary, but then I looked at the scores. Now I’m not so sure. At all. Strictly Come Dancing Week 2 With Gleb Savchenko, Tristan MacManus, & More -Preshow & Voting Info, Review Dances
Are you ready for the second week of Strictly Come Dancing? I’m excited (and to read all of your comments too as last week was a blast!). This time, Gleb Savchenko and Anita Rani will be performing a Charleston to ‘Pencil Full Of Lead’ by Paolo Nutini and they are dancing 11th. Jamelia and Tristan MacManus will be performing a Cha Cha to ‘Don’t Cha’ by Pussycat Dolls. To see the more dance information for the rest of the couples, see the official BBC Strictly Site (thanks Mr A for letting us know on the songs earlier too). Also, Nathan says Saturday’s show will be “125 minutes of constant dancing and no commercials. So, you might want to strategically slot in drink and toilet breaks!” So true. LOL 😯 With that said, we plan to post Gleb and Tristan’s dance videos as soon as we can for those who can’t watch until later or if you want to watch them again. Also, like last week, we’re going to sticky this post to the top of the page for today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday) to update on both shows and so you can find it to comment in. Let us know what you think of everything in comments. Who were your favorites? Who were your least favorites? Thanks, All, and DON’T FORGET TO VOTE! For how to do so including registration info, SEE THIS LINK!
