DWTS Season 19 Week 2 RESULTS!! Let’s discuss tonight’s show! (Spoilers)

Getting excited for the pro dances tonight!!  Derek and Jules with the other male pros – sounds like they might be doing something from their tour? Maybe?

Once again, comment to your hearts contents, as long as you remember the show night rules.

  1. Our server gets totally hosed when people sit at their computer and click “refresh” constantly. Post a comment, then walk away for five minutes so that others have a chance…and so that Courtney and I can actually post on the site. :-)
  2. THIS SITE IS NOT TWITTER. Do not post like you are on twitter. You get one warning and then I put you in time out. :-) We need context and content. Believe it or not there are a lot of people who don’t watch the east coast feed of the show, so they don’t know what the hell you’re talking about when you post a comment that says, “Boy, that sucked.”  If you want to say “____ and ____’s dance was not good at all, crappy choreo” that’s fine. That would be context. It is good. :-D  Remember, if you post five one liners in five minutes, you’ve broken rule number 1. ;-)

If you want to see my predictions of who is going home, along with Courtney’s predictions, click the links. Vogue is in there too, in the comments. I think, once again, all three of us are in agreement. We’ll see.

Well, Val, you better hope Julianne doesn’t hold a grudge. :-)

I am SO OVER the all female strip tea…I mean, dance numbers. Come on. Where are the MEN??? Read more..

I'm a nerd and proud of it. Two degrees in geology also means I love BEER. :-) I'm also a Derek lover - proud of that too. So don't scream at those of us on this site and call us a bunch of "biased Derek-lovers" - it's just ME. :-) It may sound like I hate DWTS at times, but really, I'm just a snarky nitpicker from way back. And I'm cynical and jaded too. But I do love DWTS. :-)

“Ride Along’s” Kevin Hart To Be Guest Judge Next Week On Dancing With The Stars

According to US Weekly, Kevin Hart will be the guest judge on Dancing With The Stars next week. Here is more…

You gotta have Hart! No one could ever really fill Len Goodman’s shoes on Dancing With the Stars, but Kevin Hart is certainly going to try. Us Weekly can exclusively reveal that the Ride Along actor will fill in as a guest judge on the ABC competition next Monday, Sept. 29, for Movie Night.

Hart, 35, will join judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough, and Bruno Tonioli in evaluating the 11 remaining celebs and their pro partners as they boogie down to songs from their favorite films. He’s standing in for veteran head judge Goodman, who revealed on Monday, Sept. 22, that he’s taking next week off.

Below is Kevin on The Ellen Show recently when he recently competed in her dance off.

DWTS19 Week 2 Media And Interview Roundup, Some Dances Revealed For “Movie Night” Next Week

Wowza, what a night last night on Dancing With The Stars!!!! I was blown away by either the creativity and skill of the dancing or the heart and soul put into it. So, let’s get to some media and interviews. First of all, don’t miss seeing some fabulous photos of the cast and show at ABC7. Afterwards, below is a recap and new interviews with ABC7, Access Hollywood, and Afterbuzz TV. Note: It’s “Movie Night” next week and from these interviews, we learn that Witney and Alfonso have a Fox Trot (or do they have a V. Waltz?). Mark and Sadie have a Viennese Waltz. Peta and Tommy have an Argentine Tango. For more dance spoilers see Heidi’s Discussion post and Pure Derek Hough.

ETA: Cheryl and Antonio have a Fox Trot next week.

DWTS Season 19 LIVE STREAM!

As discussed in our weekly discussion post, this is where you can watch the live stream from abc.com once it starts.  I’ve put Lacey’s feed up here for the time being – if anyone has another preference, let me know. Someone from DWTS PR (I think) that we promote their stream…since I like it, I thought “why not?”

DWTS19 Karina Smirnoff Wants To Show The “Naughty Side” Of Randy Couture

In a new blog at People, Karina Smirnoff says her and Randy Couture’s Cha Cha is ‘Playful, Flirtatious and Sexy’. Oh, this is going to be so good. Here is more…

Going into this week I told Randy, “Remember, at the end of the day, we are not just doing a combination of steps.” Just steps and moves without any meaning to them is boring and pointless to watch. The steps are the mechanism that tells the story. The story in the foxtrot was graceful, suave, romantic, and strong. With the cha-cha, now I want to show the naughty side of Randy Couture! Our cha-cha is super-playful, flirtatious and sexy.

You know when you go out on the town and you have an amazing time and you let your hair down? (Well, Randy constantly will laugh and go, “What hair? I don’t have any hair to let down!”) It’s that party. You’re at the club, you’re dancing. This will have a different strength and different feeling from the foxtrot.

This Monday is “My Jam Monday,” so we’ll be performing to a song that Randy likes to listen to. We have an amazing story. Randy has so many experiences in his life that make him very unique, so we put a story from Randy’s life into the dance. It’s really cool and I’m excited. And I get to be a pinup. That is always one of the fantasies you want to come true!
