DWTS 10 Niecy & Louis (and Others) Dance Comparisons

Another week, another celebrity eliminated. This time it was Niecy Nash and her professional partner Louis van Amstel that was given the ax. After going through all of their songs, it came to my attention that they only have one recycled song! La Bamba by Ritchie Valens

This song was previously done as a Mambo by Paulina Porizkova & Alec Mazo of Season 4 on Week 2. (Start at 1:57)

DWTS 10 Pamela & Damian Dance Comparison

It’s that time of the week again! Where we reminisce about the dances that a celeb has done and compare that to past celebs that danced to that same song waaaaaay back when.

In Pamela and Damian’s case, they have four recycled songs in their repertoire this season. Unfortunately I was only able to find dances to three of the four recycled songs. The fourth song in question is I Can’t Make You Love Me by Bonnie Raitt. Pamela and Damian danced their Rumba to this song on Week 4, while it was originally done by Toni Braxton & Alec Mazo of Season 7 on Week 2 also as a Rumba. (In case you’re wondering, I cannot find a video of Toni & Alec’s Rumba… so if anyone has that it would be great!)

So going down memory lane…

On Week 2, Pamela & Damian danced a Foxtrot to Marilyn Monroe’s I Wanna Be Loved By You.

This was originally danced by Season 3′s Mario Lopez & Karina Smirnoff on Week 7.

DWTS Choreography…The Next 8 Count

This past weekend I was youtubing some DWTS dances from all the past seasons and I found some that I completely forgot about but still love! I was also reminded of several that I don’t care to see again So, for today here’s the break down of the good, the bad, and the just plain adorable

THE GOOD
Julianne’s first emmy nomination dance: Season 5 Helio Castroneves, Mambo

THE BAD
Season 2: Master P, Cha Cha
There’s one thing to be a terrible dancer and still trying your hardest to be apart of something of this magnitude. However, Master P was clearly over DWTS before he even jumped in. Technically, he was terrible! There was no musicality from him, he walked the entire performance, never once showed any emotion, and wasn’t a great partner for Ashly!
