Parade interviewed Julianne Hough about being a judge on Dancing With The Stars. She also talks of how they will be trying new things this season. Interesting. Read on….
Why come back to DWTS as a judge instead of a dancer? “Being a dancer is a big commitment and it didn’t allow me time to focus on other aspects of my career. Being a judge is a great way to be a part of the show, but still have time for my other dreams and aspirations.”
Are you going to be OK stirring up controversy if you think you’re right, but others disagree with your opinion? “Whatever I say comes from a place of love. So I hope that if there is controversy, they know that it’s coming from a good place.”
What’s new for the show this season? “There’s going to be something where the judges work with the competitors. They’re still figuring that out, but I know that they’re going to try new things that they’ve never done before.”
More at Parade including talk on her new role in Grease. Thanks to Lori for the heads up.

Hey All!! Did you see Derek Hough on The Ellen Show yesterday? If not, you can watch him below. He talks on Dancing With The Stars, Bethany Mota, and his new role on Nashville. He also dances a little with Ellen and takes a dunking for Breast Cancer Awareness. Lot’s more with Derek at Pure Derek Hough including the latest episode of Nashville, Nashville and Ellen screen caps (like the beauty above. Heidi was working full time last night getting everything up), paparazzi pics, and more fun things. One more thing: if you want to see more of Derek on Nashville, tweet @Nashville_ABC and @Nashvillewrites to let them know!

Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff were on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today! They were interviewed about Dancing With The Stars and they even danced some. Corbin gets dunked too. Check them out!

This morning, Snooki was a guest DJ on The Ellen Show. She talked a little about Dancing With The Stars and how it’s “different” and harder than giving childbirth. In honor of the show, Ellen decides to turn the DJ booth into a sun tanning booth for Snooki. Hilarious segment. Check it out!

Tune in to The Ellen Show on Monday if interested. Dancing With The Stars contestant Leah Remini will be one of Ellen’s guests. E Online reports that this is her first TV interview since deflecting from the Church of Scientology in July. Leah also chatted about Dancing With The Stars and said that after seven days of practicing with her partner Tony Dovolani, she’s hurting “everywhere” and in places she didn’t know could hurt. She also teases that she thinks she broke Tony’s wrist from hanging on to him so hard. Below is a clip of the interview. Also note that Amber Riley will be a guest on Ellen’s show on Thursday, September 12th!! A fun week ahead!

The segment Sabrina & Louis taped for the Ellen Show on Friday aired today. They did their cha-cha.
That’s the only clip I can find, so I don’t know if they actually talked to Ellen at-length later on, or if that was it. If someone finds another clip, let me know 🙂
Ultrasound sales specialist by day, semi-knowledgeable DWTS fan by night...with a smattering of hair & makeup enthusiast, occasional model, baker, and crazy cat lady peppered in to make things REALLY interesting ;-) I might pee my pants in happiness if Donnie Wahlberg ever does DWTS - or if they ever use "Sunglasses at Night" as a paso doble.
It’s a Dancing With The Stars holiday and PureDWTS reader Lois puts it’s all into perspective with this fun ditty for the premiere tonight…
THE DANCING WITH THE STARS TRAIN!
All aboard! The train is leaving the station
Chug, chugging along to its final destination
The All Stars are in their Sunday finery best
Who of the thirteen will pass the final test
Along for the ride Bruno, Carrie Ann, and Len
When will they raise the paddle of the first ten
The ballroom is cheering, the train is inside
The shimmery, sparkly show opens with pride
Our eyes wide at precisely the hour of 8 o’clock
We get into the dancing mode, oh it will rock
Emmy winner Tom Bergeron says for all to hear
This is Dancing With The Stars, it is finally here
Brooke Burke takes her place with her co host
Congratulations Tom, well deserved, we boast
The All Stars ascend, to thunderous loud cheers
All thirteen trying to shake off nerves and fears
Their heels, dancing shoes, steps to the beat
Oh we are in for a dazzling, raz-ma-taz treat!
The train pulls out, in salute the whistles blow
It is Dancing With the Stars, its on with the show!

DANCING WITH THE STARS ALL STARS IS FINALLY HERE!
WITH GUSTO, WE STAND UP, WE GIVE A ROUSING CHEER!
Thanks Lois! Well said! And with that said, Dancettes, below is Pamela Anderson on The Ellen Show today prepping us even more for tonight. She says Tristan sweats in a heart shape. LOL So cute!
Also, below is a bite from Nightline where host Tom Beregeon talks about Pamela.
“DWTS” host Tom Bergeron told “Nightline” that he recently asked the former “Baywatch” babe about her celibacy vow, which she made last month.
“I guess she thought it would give her a competitive edge,” Bergeron said. “And so I happened to see her yesterday in the hall and I mentioned to her that I had been asked about her vow of celibacy and over her shoulder, with her back to me, she went, ‘I’m already off the wagon.’”
A few weeks before the “Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars” premiere, which airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, the 45-year-old Anderson told People magazine that she had “sworn off men until November,” when the competition ends.
Anderson was eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars,” Season 10, in May 2010 and returns tonight for the show’s 15th season, alongside Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson, Bristol Palin and Emmitt Smith, among others.
“We’ve got everybody on the show who’s been here before, many of whom have won it before, I’m really excited about it,” Bergeron said. “I do think that each of them knows that this particular Mirror Ball trophy, however kitschy it might be, there’s a certain status among fans of the show for coming into a season of all stars and walking away with that one.”
NOTE: Tune into “Nightline” tonight at 11:35 p.m. ET as ABC’s David Wright sits down with Tom Bergeron and members of the cast to talk about the show behind the scenes. HERE is a preview you don’t want to miss.

Donald writes that he and Peta have “the waltz down pat” and they are gunning for three “10’s” tomorrow night on Dancing With The Stars. It’s been an exciting few days. Read why….
It’s been an exciting few days out here in LA. Yesterday Peta and I were guests on the “Ellen” show and today I feel like we really got the waltz down pat. Going on the Ellen DeGeneres show was really special for me because she’s a favorite of both my mom and my mother in law. They were so excited when they found out they were going to get to watch me on one of their favorite shows. Peta and I had a great time on the show — we had some laughs and even did one of our dance routines. I’m not going to tell you which one … you’ll have to watch the show when it airs on Monday to find out!
Monday is also our next DWTS performance. Like I said, I’m feeling really good about where we’re at with our waltz. Peta and I are going to spend lots of extra time fine-tuning all the little details because we want those triple 10s. Make sure you tune in and vote this week, Packer Nation.
You can read more at JS Online. Here is a little preview for what’s to come on The Ellen Show tomorrow. Be sure to tune in!

Apparently, Stevie Wonder was a guest on The Ellen Show today! The Detroit News is reporting that Ellen asked him if he was going to be a contestant on Dancing With The Stars. Below is how he replied…
“When I lose weight and get to where I want to be, we’ll do it”
Wow, wouldn’t this be awesome? Bring it, Stevie!!
ADDING: Below is Stevie’s performance and interview with Ellen today….
