We’ve been noticing some more celebrities voicing how they’d like to dance on Dancing With The Stars. Since you never know if TPTB might take them seriously (now or in the future), we thought we might post about them….
First up, OK Magazine (where some of our Pros have blogged from in the past and where they’ve also posted some insider things at times) is reporting that Tiffany wants to take on Dancing With The Stars. Below is take from the link.
“I’m very competitive,” the married mom, 41, tells me this week while hosting an 80s bash at The Pool After Dark at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City. “I’m very lazy unless there’s somebody next to me. I’m that way with the gym. Because I’m a multi-tasker, I’m thinking about laundry and all the other things I could be accomplishing while on that treadmill, but as soon as a girl with the right body comes up next to me, I’m like ‘that’s right, we’re staying on this — we’re going. I’ll drop before I get off this thing!’”
She adds, “I’m very competitive in that sense, and I was actually a dancer for many years before I even got a record deal. It would be great to do Dancing With The Stars because that would revive those chops a little bit.”
Hmmm, not sure I’m game for her or not?
Then a few days ago, Access Hollywood interviewed General Hospital’s Finola Hughes. She said she’d like to dance on Dancing With The Stars . Did any of you see the movie “Staying Alive” with Finola and John Travolta? She was wicked good in that movie….and in dancing ability too. SEE THIS LINK! I’d love to see her dance.
With “General Hospital” so close to celebrating its anniversary in April, and “Dancing with the Stars” returning in March on the same network, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see a “GH” star on the reality competition and Access has an idea for the upcoming cast – Finola!
“I would love to do ‘Dancing with the Stars,’” she said when Access posed the question. “It would be so much fun.”
Finola has ballet in her background, previously appearing on the London stage, and later, dancing with John Travolta in “Stayin’ Alive.” (Remember THIS?)
The actress also is well-versed in all things “DWTS.”
“I, of course, watched this last season like crazy because Kelly [Monaco, who plays Sam McCall on “GH”] was on,” Finola said. “It just looks like a blast. Yeah, it would be great.”
Also, here is something fun Lisa Rinna posted on Billy Idol. Could Lisa be “in the know” about something being it was so “random” that she felt the need to tweet this? He would be a good get for sure! Thanks to Courtney for this find….
I'd like to see Billy Idol do #DWTS I know. So random my coming out with that at this moment.

Courtney: Mmmmmm…Billy Idol. Let’s put it this way: even though he’s probably old enough to be my father, I still have some very un-PG-13 thoughts about He of the Sneering Lip, and he could become the object of my lust in season 16…possibly moreso than Apolo’s tree trunk thighs in season 15. 😛 Doubt they got him, but damn – it would be one helluva season if they did! As for Tiffany – she’d be fun to watch, but I’m thinking they may have already filled their redheaded musician quota for the season w/Wynonna. And if they got Finola Hughes, she could be the ringiest ringer in DWTS history, and I’d have her pegged for the MBT from the get-go – that woman has got some serious dance chops. As in “classically trained ballerina”. She played Victoria (a very demanding dance role) in the original Broadway run of Cats. Lord knows how much of her original skill set she has retained, but man – even if it’s just a little bit, she’d be a force to be reckoned with.
Heidi: Word to Courtney on Billy and Finola. He was SO hot back in the day – I have a clear recollection of screaming “White Wedding” at the top of my lungs with one of my girlfriends. But can he dance or just curl his lip?? I’m thinking the latter. Finola – massive ringer but what the hell? Could happen. I’m thinking Tiffany would be good someday – don’t know if that day is coming soon. Would love to see Billy and Finola either this season or a future season. I’m ambivalent on Tiffany.
