Rob Kardashian Comments On Dancing With The Stars Rumors on Lopez Tonight

Yesterday, we reported to you that Rob Kardashian is rumored to be in talks to dance on Dancing With The Stars. Last night on Lopez Tonight, Rob addressed the rumors and said he “can’t dance at all”, but, he’s very “competitive” and it might be “interesting” to do. So, he’s not ruling the possibility out. Rob also said he’d have to do better than his sister Kim if he did the show. Video below of his debut appearance in full. He starts talking about dancing at the 9:48 minute mark.

Ya know…he’s kind of cute. I think I might like him on the show afterall? šŸ˜€ But, who could you see him partnered with? Maybe Anna? He kind of looks like Jonathan. lol

DWTS12, Week 8 – Bruno Tonioli Talks Dancing With The Stars On George Lopez (Video)

Bruno was a guest on the George Lopez last night. He talks with George about growing up and of how people should be true to themselves and follow their heart. Then he talks about Dancing With The Stars and how this is his favorite Season. Kirstie surprises him the most. He thinks Ralph needs to ignite his inner Latino and be like Antonio Banderaz. lol More silliness and seriousness below.

Special Note: Ralph will be one of George Lopez’ guests tonight.

Pure DWTS 12 – Tony Dovolani Weighs In On The Show

PopStop TV interviewed Tony about the show over the weekend. He dished about how well he got along with his partner Wendy Williams and how much she wanted to learn to dance. He thinks George Lopez should dance on the show (to see what it’s like to be made fun of). He’s also rooting for Kirstie to win this Season. He says she’s working hard and yet, has the right attitude about having fun. He also dishes on the judges and who is the toughest (I like this part). More in detail below.

DWTS12 – Was George Lopez Out Of Line About Kirstie Alley On His Show?

I think what George Lopez said on his show at Kirstie’s expense was totally mean spirited and distasteful!!! Hey, Kirstie may be over weight. But, she’s trying and she’s currently losing weight. She looks great and she needs to be commended. She doesn’t need people like this bringing her down. I can’t embed the video, but, you can see what George Lopez said HERE. šŸ˜”

I hope Kirstie never does his show now and it’s his loss too if she doesn’t.

Speaking of shows, Kirstie tweeted this news on her twitter last night. Be sure to tune in as I’m sure it will be a gas.

DWTS11 Preliminary Power Rankings – Part I

Itā€™s that time of the year again! Time for me to do my preliminary power ranking of this seasonā€™s couples as a sort of prediction of how things will play out between now & November.Ā  For those of you who have no clue what Iā€™m talking about (or just need a refresher from last season šŸ˜‰ ), I do a weekly ranking of the couples after each performance show that is basically a measure of how likely they are to stick around that week.Ā  Now this is NOT a ranking of who danced the best; we all know that just because a couple is at the top of the leaderboard, doesnā€™t necessarily mean theyā€™re safe.Ā  This is a far more comprehensive ranking ā€“ it takes into account not only a coupleā€™s performance, but also how well-liked they are, how well-known they are, how strong their voting demographic is, how memorable they are, etc.Ā

I correctly predicted last seasonā€™s top 5 before the season even began ā€“ Iā€™m hoping to best that this season by correctly predicting the top 6 šŸ˜‰ But anywho, hereā€™s my bottom half ā€“ the 6 couples I donā€™t think we should get too attached to, because I donā€™t foresee them sticking around for longā€¦but there are always surprises!

Ā 12.) Mike ā€œThe Situationā€ Sorrentino & Karina Smirnoff ā€“ I really did have high hopes for these two, but unfortunately I just think they have too many odds stacked against them to last past the first week ā€“ that is, unless The Sitch turns out to be a natural, because they havenā€™t even started practicing yet.Ā  And they likely wonā€™t until the week prior to the show, if what Karinaā€™s tweeting is correct, since heā€™s wrapping up taping of the current season of Jersey Shore.Ā  Speaking of that show ā€“ Iā€™m on the fence as to whether itā€™s going to be a boon or a burden for him.Ā  I said that I didnā€™t think Wildboyz & Jackass fans would tune in & vote for Steve-O, but he lasted until week 5ā€¦but I think Steve-O was also getting a bit of a sympathy vote from his recent stint in rehab.Ā  Iā€™m not sure thereā€™s anything for voters to feel sympathetic about as far as Mikeā€™s concerned.Ā  And Jersey Shore is a really polarizing show ā€“ people either love it or hate it, so I hope to god that Mike is charming as can be if he wants to stick around.Ā  Karina is a pro that seems equally as polarizing ā€“ people seem to either adore her or loathe her (Iā€™m in the former camp), and Iā€™m afraid that her voting fanbase is just not going to be able to compensate for any lack of votes on the part of his fans.Ā  I hope to god that Iā€™m wrong, because I really would like to see how these two doā€¦but Iā€™m preparing myself to see Mike join the infamous ā€œfirst elimineesā€ club.

11.) Kyle Massey & Lacey Schwimmer ā€“ The only reason I see these two lasting longer than Mike & Karina is Laceyā€™s fanbase: she seems to have a decent-sized one, and they seem to be the type that are very motivated to vote.Ā  Echoing Heidiā€™s sentiments, Kyle is definitely the celebrity that has people going ā€œWho?ā€ this season ā€“ even co-workers of mine that have kids who watch Disney religiously were drawing a blank when I mentioned his name (and yes, for those of you who are new, I do use the ladies in my office as a sort of sample demographic ā€“ most are in their 30s & 40s with school-aged kids, which seems to be the biggest viewing demographic of the show).Ā  As for his dance prowess, if Laceyā€™s tweets and the rehearsal pictures that have been released are any indicator, then Kyle seems to be a bit of an awkward mover ā€“ and a jokester, so Lacey may have a hard time getting him to focus.Ā  Kyle may benefit slightly from the ā€œmomā€ vote, but unless heā€™s really pretty goodā€¦I donā€™t think these two will last past the first few weeks.

10.) Bristol Palin & Mark Ballas ā€“ If Kate Gosselinā€™s longer-than-anyone-could-have-expected tenure on the show last season was any indicator, itā€™s that America loves controversial celebs ā€“ and I daresay Bristol has that position covered this season.Ā  Just like Heidi, I donā€™t see her getting sent home any sooner than week 3 ā€“ heck, I could even see her lasting until week 4 or 5, at the expense of a better dancer.Ā  I actually see her lasting longer if sheā€™s exceptionally bad ā€“ just like viewers latch onto the best dancers, they also seem to enjoy keeping the bad ones aroundā€¦everyone loves watching a train wreck.Ā  Markā€™s also got one of the bigger fanbases on the show, so even if people donā€™t particularly care for Bristol, theyā€™ll vote to keep Mark in the game, especially since he was eliminated so early last season.Ā  Judging from the rehearsal photos, it looks like Markā€™s got his work cut out for him ā€“ Bristol definitely looks awkward.Ā  Sheā€™s also been pretty quiet and mundane in the media, so I donā€™t think sheā€™s gonna make a huge impression in anyoneā€™s minds ā€“ unless sheā€™s just a really bad dancer.Ā  In which case, George Lopez may dub her this seasonā€™s Kate, and take it upon himself to campaign to keep her inā€¦that fool.

9.) Audrina Patridge & Tony Dovolani ā€“ Ā Thereā€™s been a good amount of debate so far about whether Audrinaā€™s gonna sink or swimā€¦Iā€™m leaning towards the former. Audrinaā€™s done a little bit of modeling, and I donā€™t know of any dancing sheā€™s done (besides what you do in a smoke-filled club), so Iā€™m inclined to think that sheā€™s gonna go more the route of Holly Madison and Kathy Ireland than Melissa Rycroft or Stacy Keibler.Ā  Donā€™t get me wrong, she seems like a very sweet, pretty girl ā€“ a very sweet, pretty girl thatā€™s not gonna make a whole lot of waves, good or bad.Ā  And unless sheā€™s got some hidden skills we donā€™t know about (superhuman flexibility, gymnastics, etc.), I doubt Tonyā€™s choreography is going to really showcase her well.Ā  As for voting powerā€¦I know The Hills had a cult-like following, but at the same time, just because someone likes that show doesnā€™t mean they necessarily like Audrina (Iā€™ve known plenty who watched the show who absolutely despised her, for whatever reason).Ā  And Tonyā€™s gotten sent home fairly early before ā€“ I donā€™t think he has the voting fanbase to carry them both.Ā  Oh wellā€¦at least sheā€™ll look pretty in the costumes!

8.) Margaret Cho & Louis Van Amstel ā€“ No doubt, these two will be the comic relief this season.Ā  I didnā€™t think anyone could top the hilarity of Niecy & Louis, but this very well may do it!Ā  Do I think that Margaret is going to be a stellar dancer? Hell no, but neither was Niecy ā€“ Iā€™m pretty sure she & Louis realized that pretty quickly, which is why they went to town working the comedy angle, and it worked for them.Ā  Margaret is a well-known comedian, so I could see die hard fans of hers coming out to vote; Louis is a bit more of a wild card, as I donā€™t really know if he has the broad-spectrum appeal of Derek or Mark ā€“ he does, however, seem to have the support of the LGBT community (as does Margaret), which quite a powerful demographic.Ā  I donā€™t think that alone (and their schtick) is going to carry them through to the midpoint of the competition, though,Ā and Iā€™m not sure thereā€™s a whole lot for Louis to pull out of her in terms of real skill.Ā  Margaret is also known to get a bit bawdy in her comedy ā€“ something I think she may have to reign in if she doesnā€™t want to risk offending a good part of the voting audience.Ā  Overall, I think theyā€™ll be fun to watch ā€“ but the humor will eventually wear thin and pale in comparison to better dancers and bigger fanbases.

7.) Michael Bolton & Chelsie Hightower ā€“ I know some people donā€™t really have high hopes for these two, but I think some people are really underestimating Michaelā€™s appeal ā€“ I remember grown women & teenagers alike going CRAZY for this guy in the early 90s.Ā  As in screaming, crying, and bra-throwing crazy.Ā  And to be honest, the guy has aged pretty well ā€“ heā€™s definitely not terrible to look at (thank god he got rid of that ratty-ass hair!), and heā€™s still making music.Ā  I would bet those same women from 20 years ago still carry a bit of a torch for him, and they will step up to the plate & vote.Ā  As will the growing population of Chelsie fans ā€“ I think sheā€™s all but filled in the role of the blonde, Mormon girl-next-door left vacant by Julianne.Ā  Will Michael be one of the breakout dancers of this season? Meh ā€“ probably not.Ā  But I do think heā€™ll make an honest effort, and I daresay he wonā€™t be nearly as bad as some other guys.Ā  And honestly, Iā€™m actually starting to warm to the idea of he & Chelsie togetherā€¦it doesnā€™t seem like quite the odd couple that it first appeared, especially when you compare them to Ashly & Buzz (which, oddly enough, seemed to work as well).Ā  I honestly vacillated between putting them at 6th or 7th ā€“ and I still think they could potentially make it to the top half of the pack.Ā  But I think itā€™ll hinge upon how the couple I placed at #6 doesā€¦

ā€¦and with that, I give you the first half of my pre-season power rankings šŸ˜‰ Curious about who I have making it to the finale, and who I have taking home the mirrorball trophy? Then stay tuned for part IIā€¦and Iā€™ll give you a hint: my winner is different from the one Heidi predicted šŸ˜‰

Dancing with the Stars Exclusive Cast Incorrectly Revealed

Gossip Sauce posted a list of Dancing with the Stars cast members on August 21st. This prompted at least 5 other sites to use the Gossip Sauce list of Dancing with the Stars contestants for their own website. Here’s the list provided by Gossip Sauce.
Kim Kardashian
Lance Bass
Toni Braxton
Brooke Burke
Maurice Greene
Cody Linley
Susan Lucci
Warren Sapp
Misty May-Treanor
Ted McGinley
Mark McGrath
Cloris Leachman
Jeff Ross

There’s only one major problem with this list of Dancing with the Stars Contestants. I know for sure that one of these people on the list isn’t going to be here this year. They were going to be on the show, but something happened and that’s changed.

My guess is that a number of people on this list are going to be on the show, but my sources are telling me that it’s definitely not an entirely accurate list.

Of course, guessing who is on the list is great fodder for discussion. So, here’s some of the other rumors I’ve seen floating around the internet.

There’s been a number of rumors about George Lopez being on the show. My guess is that George Lopez would be a horrible dancer, but entertaining regardless of his dance skills.

This site called Reality TV Spoilers posted their Dancing with the Stars spoilers.

N*SYNC member Lance Bass, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” Kim Kardashian, singer Toni Braxton, rodeo star and Jewel’s husband Ty Murray, “The Brady Bunch” mom Florence Henderson and original Batman Adam West who, at 79, would be the oldest participant ever. Former Miami Dolphin Dan Marino was approached, but he declined.

Warren Sapp has also been listed as a potential contestant on Dancing with the Stars. Can you imagine big bad Warren Sapp doing a quickstep? At least he could lift any of the girls, but he might also snap them in half on accident.

Misty May-Treanor and Ted Mcginley were also offered on Twitter as possible Dancing with the Stars cast members. I bet those twitters came from the original Dancing with the Stars spoiler at the top.

The good part about all this is that we’re going to find out who it really is tomorrow.
