DWTS14 Week 4 Interviews After The Elimination, Next Week’s Latin Dances Revealed (Videos)

George Pennacchio of On The Red Carpet interviewed some of the couples last night after the elimination. He gets their thoughts on Sherri and Val. He also asks them on their comfort zones and next week’s “latin” dance. Let’s see what he found out….

First, Peta and Donald tell George it’s just “crazy” and “awful” for how Sherri was eliminated. Peta is sad and tears it up. It could be anyone to leave including them. It’s Latin week next week and they have the Argentine Tango. They are going to work hard. Donald is ready for the challenge in getting out of his comfort zone as always.

Maks explains what happened Monday night when Melissa got hurt. At this time, he doesn’t know how he is going to approach their upcoming dance and future. He questions everything and doesn’t want to hurt her. He also talks of Val and Sherri’s elimination and feels sorry for them. He says Val feels like it’s his fault and feels bad for them.

Roshon says he had no idea he’d be at this level on Dancing With The Stars. He’s learning so much and hopes to keep doing so. They talk of how hard it was to see Sherri go. Next week’s dance for these two will be the Salsa. Chelsie wants to refine his salsa technique. It will be sexy. They are going for 10′s next week as they never want to be in the bottom two again.

Katherine is glad she was able to get out of her comfort zone this week and it was one of the best experiences ever. The Argentine Tango is their next dance. Katherine is the most excited about learning this dance. Mark says he hopes to tell a very passionate story and keep it straight edge. They have nothing but kind words for Val and Sherri.

PureDWTS Season 14 Week 4 Media After The Dance Part 1 (Videos)

We’ve got lots of new interviews to weed through this morning after this week’s dance. Let’s get right to it with George Pennacchio of On The Red Carpet. George asks the dance couples on their injuries and the new “Dance Off” which starts next week where they have to learn two dances. Note how their is a technical issue with the interview with Kym and Jaleel. Hopefully, they will fix that later. Also, there isn’t an interview with Maks and Melissa since they had to rush her to the hospital after their dance which you can read about in a previous posting here.

First up, Donald and Peta!! George comments that Donald is a “new kind of sex symbol”. They are excited about their performance and to be at the top of the leaderboard. They talk of the ‘dance off’ and how it will come down to “technique” versus the ‘performance’ factor for who would make it in the bottom two. Aren’t their costumes awesome? I love that color!

George asks Maria about her injuries. Derek brings up Melissa and how injuries happen. Maria has a whole new respect for dancers for what they go through physically. They are so excited about their scores. They agree with the “dance off” hoping it will support the better dancers and good dancers don’t get voted off.

Roshon is “burning up” about being called the best male dancer. He’s nervous about the dance off, but, hopes he never is in the bottom two. So far, so good he hasn’t suffered from any injuries. He didn’t know much about Melissa’s injury, but, says she’s awesome and a hard worker.

Cheryl talks of how William stepped on her foot and her shoe wasn’t on right for the rest of the dance just like what happened to Kirstie Alley. William says they are working hard and he wants to continue to be positive. Cheryl isn’t wild about the ‘dance off’ since now they have to learn two dances for next week. William looks at her like she’s nuts. lol

Dances Revealed For Rock Week On Dancing With The Stars: Jive, Paso Doble, Tango, Viennese Waltz (Results Interviews)

As always, George Pennacchio of On The Red Carpet has the best questions for the couples after the results show. He asks them about “kissing” and the differences about learning things for their careers and dancing. He also asks on what their plans are for Rock Week. Read on for more, but, note how there are no interviews for Val and Sherri or Cheryl and William (yet!). Adding (thanks Heidi): Don’t forget also that Cheryl revealed yesterday that she and William have a Jive for next week.

First up Peta and Donald! They don’t think there will be any kissing in their future dances. George asks Donald the difference between learning the foot work for dancing versus football. Donald says there is a big difference since you have to remember where to put them and to “perform”. Next week, they have a Paso Doble and Peta hints at “pimping him out”.

Tristan and Gladys say they kiss all the time and it depends on what happens if they kiss in their dances in the future. George asks Gladys the difference between learning to sing and learning moves for her shows verses dancing. She answers with how much “technique” is important. They share some kind words for Jack. (according to @TristanMacManusfans at twitter, they’ve got a Tango next week.)

Maria explains how she has a good memory for all the things she’s doing in her career and how that’s helping her with dancing. Derek doesn’t know if there will be more kissing. It depends on the moment and the kind of dance, etc.. They are planning some “head banging” for next week’s dance. They have a Tango. It won’t be sensual, but, “hard hitting” instead.

Mark says there is no rule for kissing and sometimes dancers get carried away. Mark says it’s “acting” too. Katherine explains how she gets in a “panic” for dancing versus when she is singing. She worries she will forget her moves. For rock week, they have a Paso Doble with a great song. Mark hints at wanting to show a different, powerful, and harder side of Katherine.

PureDWTS 14 Week 3 – Media and Interviews After The Dance Part 1 (Videos)

What a show last night again!!! As in weeks past, the couples did some interviews with George Pennacchio of On The Red Carpet afterwards. Let’s see what he gathered up on the emotional night. Note: There aren’t interviews posted for Katherine & Mark and Donald and Peta for some reason. Watch the link, they may post them later.

First up, Derek and Maria! She tells George that it didn’t bother her to disclose more on her personal life last night. She says honesty can be inspiring. Derek hasn’t seen this much improvement so quickly in one of his partners and he’s so proud of her. They also discuss her wrestling this past week and her unbelievable schedule.

Gavin was so overwhelmed and “somewhere else” with their dance and when they received a standing ovation. He is emotional about his Dad. He loves learning to dance and finding what he’s natural at. Karina says he has a way of making every situation better. She believes in him and thinks they can climb up to the top.

George praises Gladys for her elegance last night. He and Tristan point out how no one really is at the bottom when they receive “24′s”. Gladys wants to “shake her tail feather” in the next dances if she makes it for what she’s more about. Tristan soaks up everything about Gladys. She inspires him and he learns from her. They talk of her double and triple duty besides her dancing on the show. She’s planning to do a new sitcom as well.

Sherri is so emotional over the night. George says the night was insane. Sherri says they all love being there and the bar is set high. They talk of her busy schedule. Val talks of how it was a difficult this past week, but, they learned a lot and plan to keep going forward. He cares so much for her and vice versa.

Dancing With The Stars 14 On To Week Three Media, Dance Hints Revealed, And More (Videos)

We’ve got some relieved couples who weren’t eliminated from Dancing With The Stars last night. George Pennacchio from On The Red Carpet was there to get their thoughts and reactions after the show. He gets them to reveal some hints for what they will be dancing for week 3. He also asks him what style of dance they’d dance where they’d receive three “10′s”. Interesting questions as always. You can tell he’s a die hard fan like us wanting to know as much as he can. lol

First up, Peta and Donald mention having some hidden surprises and secret weapons planned for their future dances. Next week’s dance will be “emotional” and that’s all they will say.

Gladys and Tristan want a dance competition where no one is eliminated. Tristan says he “thinks” they have the Fox Trot next week, but, he’s not sure. Tristan says if Gladys could do a Twist to “mashed potatoes”, she would get all “10′s”. She has some touching words for Martina too since they go way back.

Melissa was so relieved when she was called safe. Maks remarks at how fast the competition is going so far. They aren’t sure on what emotional story in her life they will dance to next week. Melissa said she’d pick Hip Hop to try and get 3 “10′s”.

Jack would pick “White men have rhythm too” if he could pick a dance to receive three “10′s”. They have some kind words for Martina. For next week, they have the Samba and they hope to “wow” us.

Dancing With The Stars 14 Week 2 – Interviews After The Dance Part 1 (Videos)

Isn’t it always refreshing to get some class act Dancing With The Stars interviews from George Pennacchio of On The Red Carpet and this time is no different. Let’s start out with Derek and Maria….

Derek tells why they’ve kept Maria’s injury under wraps. They’d didn’t want to be “known” as an injured couple. Maria danced last week with two broken ribs and keeps going. Derek calls her “amazing”. Maria says she didn’t want a big deal made on her injury and wants to concentrate on their work and all the fun. George says they are the most improved couple. They are happy and she hopes to find her “sex spot”. They have the Rumba next week if they make it and Derek plans to bring out the “love hand”. Wha??? lol

William had no idea he could be at this level of receive this much love. He feels so blessed for the attention. Cheryl loves all of her new Spanish fans as well. Cheryl thinks he has the potential to go far because he showed he can work hard and he could dance both ballroom and Latin. He says he has to keep listening to Cheryl and do everything she says. “Yes yes…”

Roshon and Chelsie are happy with their scores and placement. George tells Roshon he reminds him of a friend who use to dance in the movies with his fast legs. Chelsie says Roshon has the potential to win the mirror ball if he works hard.

Val says Sherri brings out the best in him and make his cheeks cramp up when she’s so funny all the time. She said she was able to breathe last night and wasn’t as nervous. They are happy with their dance and feel blessed. She wants to have fun and keep living the dream.

DWTS 14 Week 1: Interviews After The First Dance Part 1 (Videos)

What a fantastic first night to kick off Dancing With The Stars Season 14. Our favorite interviewer George Pennacchio of On The Red Carpet was there to see what the couples thought of their dancing and what they hope to bring to week two. Before you watch these interviews, note that something is technically wrong with the interviews with Jack & Anna and Sherri & Val. Watch the link because they will hopefully fix them later.

First up, Jaleen talks of how nervous he was before he and Kym danced. He was a wreck. There was a lot of craziness before he came out on the stage with a wardrobe malfunction, etc., but, they were happy with how their dance turned out and glad the judges liked it. They plan to work hard and take it all one week at a time.

Mark says he knew Katherine could dance, but, she stepped it up even more for the live show. Mark remarks on the high and solid standards this season. Katherine had the best time and was so touched on the whole night. For week two, Mark wants to keep the standard up and just keep improving. They have the Jive.

George questions Cheryl about how she started the dance with her hand on William’s behind. When the applause came, William says it felt so great. He wasn’t expecting it. He says the audience helped him through. He loved the energy. Next week for the Quickstep, Cheryl hopes to show a completely other side to William from what everyone saw last night.

DWTS Season 13 Finale Interviews After Monday Night’s Dances Part 1 (Videos)

Wow, what a fun first final night on Dancing With The Stars Season 13!! If you haven’t done so yet, be sure to tell us your thoughts and reviews in Courtney’s new Power Ranking Post. Stay tuned for a new Numbers post for who will win from Heidi as well shortly. In the mean time, enjoy some new interviews after the finalists danced last night from On The Red Carpet with George Pennacchio…

First up, Kirstie Alley was in the audience and below are her thoughts on the night. She loved Ricki and her “spins”. She also talks of her new TV show coming;

Some of the cast from “All My Children” had some thoughts on the show and why J.R. continues to be such an “inspiration” for everyone….

Chaz Bono had some thoughts too. He will be proud for whoever wins and this entire cast will be close friends for life…

And finally, the dancers….

J.R. talks of how tough the competition is. It’s anyone’s game. They were disappointed in their Cha Cha, but, are happy with their freestyle. J.R. never thought all of this could be possible after what happened to him in Iraq.

Rob is on a ‘high cloud’ right now. He never expected to receive all “10′s” for he and Cheryl’s freestyle, but, it’s a whole other day tomorrow (tonight) and he plans to go into it again with a comfortable, confident approach and giving it all he’s got. This show has taught him so much and that anything is possible. He’s hoping to go to law school and follow his Dad’s footsteps when Dancing With The Stars is over.

Derek talks of how they want to continue to keep the pressure off tonight and whatever the outcome, it’s a “celebration”. Ricki is happy with how they danced last night. She never thought she’d be able to dance like she did when she had the weight issues she’s had in the past. They talk of her new Talk show and marriage coming up. Win or lose tonight, “Ricki is back and better than ever”.
