Strictly Come Dancing Goes To “Blackpool” With Gleb Savchenko, Tristan MacManus, & More: Videos, Review Show

It’s finally here….the week we’ve all been waiting for as the contestants of Strictly Come Dancing go to Blackpool. I’m so excited and if you don’t know about “Blackpool”, see this video that Andrea recorded for us. It’s …well…magical….

You can also view some fun photos of the contestants arriving to Blackpool at the Blackpool Gazette. For more teasers from this past week getting us ready for today and tomorrow including rehearsals and interviews, see Andrea’s You Tube. Claire also out did herself with screen caps this week. Lots of good stuff!

For the dances, Anita and Gleb will perform the Paso Doble to the dramatic ‘Malaguena’ by Connie Francis. We are in for a #GlebSpecial indeed as his Paso’s are always off the hook. Jamelia and Tristan are doing a Quickstep to the 1960’s classic ‘I’m A Believer’ by The Monkees. Watch out, they were all smiles on ‘It Takes Two’ this week. Nothing is getting them down not even a silly dance off any more. If you want to see what everyone else is dancing, Mr A listed them all in the comments of the previous SCD post. As always, let us know on all of your thoughts in comments. Who did you like the best and who will be in the dance off and go home? Feel free to rank them if you like too. Lastly and more importantly, BE SURE TO VOTE right after the show! THANKS EVERYONE and special thanks to Miss Heidi for covering me last week!!

Here are the times and some Live Streams (works the best with a PC). (Check the Times for me – I simply copied from last week and it seems like the UK is a bit more fluid than the US.)

Strictly Come Dancing Week 8 With Gleb Savchenko, Tristan MacManus, & More: Videos, Review Show

Hi all, Heidi here. Vogue asked me to send you all her love as she can’t be here today. Please send her strength and healing vibes, as today is going to be a difficult day for her.  (((Vogue)))

She also asked me to put up this post for all the Strictly fans. I’ve not been watching the show this season, so I’m not sure what’s going on, but I did see in the last post who’s dancing what, thanks to Mr. A in the comments. I do have an objection to the Gleb hashtags which implies that he created that move he did last week – you know, the one he took from Derek and Shawn’s Mambo in 2012. Lucky for him he’s so good looking. 😉

Anyway, Gleb and Anita are apparently doing a Quickstep to ‘Don’t Get Me Wrong’ by The Pretenders.  I looked for a video but couldn’t seem to find one of Gleb doing quickstep.

Tristan Macmanus and Jamelia will be performing the Samba to ‘A Little Respect’ by Erasure.  If you want to see what everyone else is dancing, Mr A listed them all in the comments of the previous SCD post.

For more dance information on the other couples, see the official Strictly Come Dancing site. As always, let us know on all of your thoughts in comments. Who did you like the best and who will be in the dance off and go home? Feel free to rank them if you like too. Lastly and more importantly, BE SURE TO VOTE right after the show! Don’t forget Blackpool Week is confirmed for Week 9, so, we want to make sure our favorite couples get there. THANKS EVERYONE!! You’ve made this season of both versions of Dancing With The Stars a blast!

Here are the times and some Live Streams (works the best with a PC). (Check the Times for me – I simply copied from last week and it seems like the UK is a bit more fluid than the US.)

Stay tuned for updates. In the meantime, see Andrea’s You Tube Channel to watch the “It Takes Two” episodes this week if you missed them.

ETA: Thanks to Andrea, here are the dances from Gleb and Tristan (and their partners). Len didn’t say a word about the breaking hold in the middle of the quickstep – he’s always such a different judge on the UK version.

I'm a nerd and proud of it. Two degrees in geology also means I love BEER. :-) I'm also a Derek lover - proud of that too. So don't scream at those of us on this site and call us a bunch of "biased Derek-lovers" - it's just ME. :-) It may sound like I hate DWTS at times, but really, I'm just a snarky nitpicker from way back. And I'm cynical and jaded too. But I do love DWTS. :-)

Strictly Come Dancing Week 7 With Gleb Savchenko, Tristan MacManus, & More: Teasers, Flashbacks, Videos, Review Show

It’s Strictly Come Dancing time! It’s hard to believe we are in Week 7. Time flies when you are having fun. This week Gleb Savchenko and Anita Rani are dancing a Jive to ‘The Boy Does Nothing’ by former Strictly winner Alesha Dixon and they are dancing 7th!! Gleb hashtags #GlebSpecial” and “FlyingTeaBag”. I wonder what we’re in store for? The last time he did a Jive on DWTSRussia (with Adelina Sotnikova), he jumped off of a telephone booth. Remember this? #WayHot and #SoCool

Tristan Macmanus and Jamelia are dancing a Viennese Waltz to ‘Trouble’ by Ray LaMontagne. The last time Tristan did a Viennese Waltz was with Rachel Stevens on a Strictly Christmas Special last year. They were Tinkerbell and Peter Pan to ‘Please Come Home for Christmas’ by the Eagles. Is this not magical?

For more dance information on the other couples, see the official Strictly Come Dancing site. As always, let us know on all of your thoughts in comments. It’s A Halloween Strictly Come Dancing With Gleb Savchenko, Tristan MacManus, And More (Videos, Review Show In Comments)

GlebAnitaHalloween

It’s Halloween Strictly Come Dancing! Let’s get this party started. Gleb Savchenko and Anita Rani will be dancing a “wicked” Waltz to “Once Upon A Dream” by Lana Del Rey. And have you see these cool Halloween shots of them at What’s On TV? They are stunning to say the least! Photo above from the shoot courtesy of Gleb Savchenko’s Instagram and What’s On TV. ETA: Gleb says they are dancing 4th!

As for Tristan Macmanus and Jamelia, they are dancing a “jeepers-creepers” Jive to “The Time Warp” from the Rocky Horror Picture Show. This is going to be cool and let’s hope they do well. We don’t want to see these two in the Dance Off again.

For more dance information, see the official Strictly Come Dancing site. As always, let us know on all of your thoughts in comments.

Lastly and more importantly, DON’T FORGET TO VOTE! Nathan just wrote and said Blackpool Week is confirmed in Week 8. So, we want to make sure to get Gleb and Anita there as well as Tristan and Jamelia.
