Twittering with the Stars – DWTS 9 and Beyond

Written by: Princess Heidi

While waiting on the breakfast to be ready (Champagne Brunch – Yay!!), I took a stroll around twitter and found the celebs and pros have been tweeting fools. Enjoying their time off. I won’t post all their tweets, but some of them and their twit pics were fun. If you want to follow them and see what they have to say, you can find all their twitter accounts on a previous post!

Aww, Tony, so sweet. And the Ballas men – strange. :-) Lacey and Lance at the Dizzy Feet Gala!! And Natalie Jinxes herself.

Joanna is talking about her new Peta Ad campaign. Jonathan cracks me up, as does Louie Vito. :-)

Natalie – word to the wise, never talk about how good traffic is, because then it WON’T be. :-) Derek being a good uncle, taking the kids to Miley Cyrus with Julianne and his sisters. They apparently hit a local honky tonk after – I assume someone took the children home. :-)

For those who didn’t know, Carrieann had some sort of surgery yesterday – it appears she pulled through nicely. Apparently it was minor and related to her neck/back. I could look it up, but dudes it’s Thanksgiving and I’m stuffing myself. :-)

Keep Up with Dancing with the Stars on Twitter

Written by: John

We just had a really great season of Dancing with the Stars. Sure, it ended on a bit of a sour note for many. Some hated the Jeffrey Ross DWTS roast. Fans of Melissa and Gilles were upset that Shawn won. Luckily, that’s pretty normal at the end of the DWTS season. This time it may have been a little more intense since the competition was so close and any of the top 3 could have been the Dancing with the Stars winner.

For those interested, you can continue to follow updates on Dancing with the Stars on this website of course or by following us on the Pure TV Network Twitter account. We’ll be doing updates all summer, so watch for both commentary and news on the twitter account. A lot of the commentary on Dancing with the Stars is happening on Twitter instead of on this site. So, go follow us on Twitter already.

Also, you can check out the various Dancing with the Stars celebrities on Twitter.

Jeffrey Ross Roast on Dancing with the Stars Finale

Written by: John

I must admit that Jeffrey Ross’ Roast of the stars on Dancing with the Stars is one of my favorite parts of the finale of Dancing with the Stars. I guess a lot of people are up in arms about Jeffrey Ross going too far. No doubt it was all approved by ABC before it went on the air. Plus, I think people are just freaking out, because so much of it was so true. Kind of hit close to home I guess.

Check out the Jeffrey Ross roast:

Jeff Ross and Ted McGinley on Jimmy Kimmel

Written by: John

After being kicked off Dancing with the Stars, Jeff Ross and Ted McGinley were on Jimmy Kimmel with their partners Edyta and Inna. Jeff Ross pretty much stole the show. That guy is absolutely hilarious.

Enjoy the video of Jeff Ross and Ted McGinley on Jimmy Kimmel

I wonder if every star booted off Dancing with the Stars will be on Jimmy Kimmel. I expect the ritual burning of the dance shoes by Guillermo will happen each time.

Jeff Ross and Edyta Sliwinska’s Final Mambo Dance

Written by: John

I’ve noted my sadness about Jeff Ross and Edyta Sliwinska getting sent home, but I’m at least glad that the producers of Dancing with the Stars let us see Edyta dance again and didn’t put all of Jeff Ross’s practice go to complete waste. Here’s the mambo video of Jeff Ross and Edyta Sliwinska:

Jeffrey Ross and Edyta Śliwińska Eliminated – Dancing with the Stars

Written by: John

Jeffrey Ross and Edyta Śliwińska were elimnated from Dancing with the Stars before they were even able to perform their quickstep. That has to suck for Jeffrey Ross to practice so much and not get the chance to perform it. I think I can also speak for all men when I say that I’m sad we won’t get to see much of Edyta this season. Jeffrey also made me laugh so I’m sad to see him go too.

For those dancers that remain, check out the videos of their Quickstep and Mambo dances:

I’m missing Lance and Kim’s videos, but I’ll update it if I’m able to find it.

Dancing with the Stars Season 7 Premiere

Written by: John

An exciting marathon of dancing on the Dancing with the Stars Season 7 premier episode. ABC really is lucky to have this show. It’s such an interesting mix of talent. Here’s a link to find a tonight’s list of all the songs and music from Dancing with the Stars.

Who were your favorite dancers? I’m not sure I have a rock solid favorite. One thing is happening for me. The professional dancers are becoming stars in their own right. I think I’m voting as much for the professional dancer as I am the stars.
