Sometimes I can get annoyed with Len Goodman as a judge, but, I really wouldn’t want him to ever leave Dancing With The Stars. The show wouldn’t be the same without him. Below he’s a goof on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night!
Just a quick TV Heads up for those of you interested in setting your DVRs! According to ABC Medianet, Julianne Hough will be a guest on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show on Thursday, September 11th! Let’s hope she talks about her new judging gig on Dancing With The Stars.
ETA: Also, Carrie Ann Inaba will be a guest on the Craig Ferguson Show Wednesday night.
This is funny. Last night, Dancing With The Stars Cheryl Burke helped to judge Jimmy Kimmel’s annual Belly Flop contest. Olympian Greg Louganis, Cheryl Burke and “Wipeout” host John Henson also join in the fun. What’s more, after Cheryl’s appearance, she tweeted(joked) that Guillermo was her partner for next season’s Dancing With The Stars. LOL!
Also, check out Getty Images when you get a moment for some new pictures of Cheryl sighted in Los Angeles. I’m loving her leather pants.
ETA: You can also listen to a new interview with Cheryl and CBSLocal in Dallas here. She talks about doing Ballroom With A Twist, Dancing With The Stars, Emmitt Smith, and more!
I don’t know how Lois comes up with so many great poems for Dancing With The Stars, but, here she does it again and in the perfect way for this past week…

Amy was on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. In case you don’t know, Jimmy predicts who will win Dancing With The Stars every season. Well, this season, he has picked Amy and Derek to win!! Anyway, here is Amy on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night helping to open up the show. Bless her for agreeing to do this. She’s amazing!
Below is the new Afterbuzz Dancing With The Stars episode and it’s a great one at that again! This time their special guest is “So You Think You Can Dance’s” Paul Karmiryan! I’m excited on this guest as I saw him in “Ballroom With A Twist” in February and he was fantastic….full of lots of energy and passion. He totally captured my attention in dances like this….
Ok, so onto the new Afterbuzz episode. I agreed with them on everything except for Suri on Tony and NeNe. She says Tony has been working out and planned to take off his shirt. She thought it worked for the dance and liked Nene without shoes. Anna was dead on about Maks and Meryl’s dance too in my opinion. It seemed more like a Contemporary dance and he’s not challenging her enough. Lot’s more below. Let us know if you agree or disagree with them. I may have more thoughts in comments. Also, special thanks to Kristyn for mentioning us in her blog on our Switch Up research before she introduced the new Afterbuzz episode. She rocks! Court and Heidi may have more to report on that in this post too. xxx
Nene Leakes was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. She talked all about Dancing With The Stars and what she’ll bring to the show. She’s hopes to bring lots of personality, soul, and energy. So far, she and partner Tony Dovolani have been rehearsing for 4 hours a day. She also talks on the Switch dance and how she thinks she might get Maks. Also, did you know she use to be an exotic dancer? More below including a size up on the cast (not sure I liked this part….especially for what she said on Meryl and Charlie)….
ETA: And below is Nene and Tony on Access Hollywood today…
After a frustrating 4 weeks (both for Bristol & Mark and us as viewers!) Bristol was eliminated last night – and apparently doing all the post show media was a bit overwhelming for her (cause, y’know, she totally had to go change her hair and whatnot…*eye roll*), so Mark held down the fort with On the Red Carpet and offered up his take on their elimination. He also offers up his predictions for the winner of this season:
Next stop was Access Hollywood, and Bristol must have still been fussing with her hair, so Mark did all the talking again. He talks about the show being a “journey” and how proud he is of Bristol for the work that she’s done. I had to chuckle at Mark’s reaction to being asked if he’d be dancing in the troupe:
After that, Bristol must have finally been done messing with her hair (those blasted ponytails…so complicated!) and she & Mark hit up Jimmy Kimmel. Jimmy asks Bristol if she had a feeling she’d be eliminated, and what she thinks is the key to her longevity on the show. She & Mark also chat about their fight, and Jimmy makes an interesting point about the rehearsal packages:
I must say, I rather enjoyed the cockamamie idea of Bristol being on The Bachelorette (HA!) and Guillermo is always a highlight for me In all seriousness, though, as much as I wanted Bristol gone after week 2 – I think she & Mark managed to go out gracefully, and they both seem to be at peace with their elimination. Although I have to wonder how she would have fared on Team Gilles…I would have enjoyed watching her bungle Gilles’ magnum opus of a team dance. Bwahahahahaha
And so we say Good-bye to Val and Elisabetta. When you are a “Chmerkovskiy” fan like myself, this is not easy. But, I have a feeling this isn’t the last we’ll see of Val!! I hope the producers are listening when many of us say, “PLEASE BRING VAL BACK NEXT SEASON!” With that said, here is Val and Elisabetta interviewed by Jimmy Kimmel, Access Hollywood, and On The Red Carpet. Val, talks of what a beautiful experience he had with Elisabetta (he’s such a “gentleman”) and how he will miss her. Elisabetta said it was a true gift to be on Dancing With The Stars and much more. Stay tuned for their Good Morning America interview to be added to this post shortly.
Adding: And below is their Good Morning America interview….
So, below is Jimmy Kimmel with a 2 part interview with Ron Artest and Peta Murgatroyd. The mood is a little glum and yet, Ron keeps his sense of humor too. They talk of how maybe he was too much for America to handle on Dancing With The Stars….the name change, the hair, etc.. Ron admits he’s never seen the show before his appearance. Jimmy invites Peta to stay on his show. They burn the biggest dance shoes they ever have.
Here they are being interviewed on Access Hollywood and Good Morning America as well…
So, let’s get some numbers and vote on who you think will be eliminated next on Dancing With The Stars? I’m voting for Rob Kardashian!
