Be sure to see the link for a the full interview including a video. Note too that it says her knew show, Dance Battle America, premieres right after Dancing With The Stars on September 14th.
“We’re just enjoying our engagement,” the star of #DanceBattle America shared. “I think right now we’re just enjoying that part. We really enjoy our stages. I think we enjoyed the dating stage and being engaged, so I think we like to enjoy each stage.”
Hough first let the world in on her engagement news after posting an Instagram photo of her hugging Laich shortly after the romantic proposal on Aug. 18.
In a recent post on her blog, the future Mrs. Laich opened up about her gorgeous new ring and how excited she’s been since the special day.
“The ring itself makes me feel very feminine and takes my breath away every time I look down, which I can’t stop doing, by the way,” Hough wrote. “When it comes to taking it off, forget it. I’ll even wake up in the middle of the night to make sure it’s still there!”
She added, “I never thought I’d be the girl sticking her hand out to her friends and screaming in unison but here I am, shrieking all over Los Angeles.”
ABC’s #DanceBattle America premieres on Monday, Sept. 14 at 10 p.m., following the premiere of Dancing With the Stars.

As you know from yesterday’s report, Len Goodman will not be a judge for Dancing With The Stars Season 21. However, he could be involved in some capacity. There are also plans to have guest judges.
Also, Lizze Grubman (Tony Dovolani’s publicist), confirmed at twitter last night that Tony Dovolani will not be a judge as we suspected.
And the question on all of our minds, will there be a new fourth judge? Nothing has been confirmed yet, but, Yahoo News has mentioned “a permanent fourth judge will not be appointed”. Thanks to Meghan for this heads up.
The guest judges filling Goodman’s shoes have yet to be named, but a permanent fourth judge will not be appointed.
Again, we stress, nothing is official or confirmed yet!! Judging very much seems to still be in the working stages?
Oh, and isn’t this new ad for Dancing With The Stars Season 21 fun? Thanks to Trisha Cannon for recording.
While DWTS had yet to finalize its cast when we spoke with showrunner Rob Wade, he told us fans could expect to see most of their favorites return for season 21. “I don’t think the cast will be much different than the one we’ve had the last couple of seasons,” he said.
Still, that doesn’t mean there won’t be any changes. So who’s definitely in and who might be out when the reality hit returns on Sept. 14?
The Judges: While Julianne Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli are all definitely returning to their seats at the judge’s table, the jury is still out on head judge Len Goodman’s involvement. (Goodman had previously said he was leaving the show prior to season 20, but then back-tracked.)
“It’s been back and forth the last year. I said to him, look, see how you feel,” told us. “I’m waiting. He’s in England, he’s working. I think there’s a good chance he’s not going to back for some of the shows…We’ll see where he lands, we’ll see how his health is, what he wants to do. But whatever happens this season, whether he comes back for some or none, the following season…I’m sure he’d be back for.”
For now, the show is once again looking at having some big names stop by to fill in for Goodman, with Wade confirming, “We’re looking at guest judges.”
Also, Val wants another mirror ball…
And fans shouldn’t expect Val Chmervoskiy to rest on his recent win with Rumer Willis, as the show’s casting director Deena Katz told us, “Three days after he won, he texted me like, ‘Babe, I need another one.’ I was like, ‘You just had one!’ And he’s like, ‘I need to do it again!'”
So yes, expect Val to return as well. (He even called and left a voicemail for Wade as we were speaking. No joke!)
EEk! More at E Online.
How awesome is this!! Congratulations Julianne and Brooks!!!
juleshough: We are overwhelmed with joy and excitement to share with you our recent engagement! #fiancé #love
