DWTS13, Week 7 – The Cheesecake Awards!

Heidi: This was like giving birth. Or what I would imagine giving birth was like if I had any children.

Award for the Celeb that Seems to Get Cooler & Cooler Despite His Initial Douchiness: Rob Kardashian

Courtney: Rob’s definitely come a long way since his initial assholiness during the first week – we’re getting all sorts of zingers out him these days! On relating to the The Addams Family: “Yeah, my family’s kinda kooky.” On showing off his “guns” in paso rehearsal: “I don’t carry weapons.” On the tutelage he received from Derek & Maks in said rehearsals: “Derek & Maks increased my sexual confidence!” Plus, he’s got a bum and he’s ok with it! I’m seriously starting to dig Rob – would be interesting to see what he pulls out of his hat for a freestyle, should he make the finale.

Heidi: He was a cornucopia of hilarious this past week – speaking of his bum, the entire segment about his bum from Bruno critiquing to Bruno telling Cheryl “It’s huge!!”, to them running up the stairs to David yelling “that’s a violation you were talking to Bruno!!” to the faux weepy confessional all about him bum?? F@#king hilarious!! OMG, didn’t even catch it all until I watched it again. 🙂

Award for the Celeb Who We Wish Was Still Around Because He Was Becoming a Comic Genius: David Arquette

Courtney: “Dancing with the skeleton” FTW! Especially since he even cracked Brooke up to the point where she was even more flustered than usual 😛 And then he (deliberately, I assume) got all wacky with his deck of cards during Monday night’s intros, just for shits & giggles. *sigh* I’m seriously gonna miss David!

Heidi: See above about the yelling about a violation. 🙂 But the dancing with the skeleton was the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long damn time.

Award for Cleverest Production Bit of the Week: “DEAD….from Hollywood!!”

Heidi: Maybe I’m easy. But I thought it was funny. 🙂

Courtney: Laaaaame. Just like “I’m Tom Boo-geron!” and “Our musical director, Scare-ald Wheeler!” I bet you chortled merrily at those, too, Heidi 😉 Am I right?

Heidi:  Nah, I didn’t laugh at those.  Just the dead thing.  Maybe it’s death… Read more..

Ultrasound sales specialist by day, semi-knowledgeable DWTS fan by night...with a smattering of hair & makeup enthusiast, occasional model, baker, and crazy cat lady peppered in to make things REALLY interesting ;-) I might pee my pants in happiness if Donnie Wahlberg ever does DWTS - or if they ever use "Sunglasses at Night" as a paso doble.

Official ABC Details Released On Dancing With The Stars Week 7 (Performers, Team Songs, & More)

Justin Bieber and Boyz II Men will be performing on Tuesday night’s results show. They will sing “Fa La La” which is a new track from Justin’s holiday album “Under the Mistletoe” (which you can sample here if you like). Christina Perri will also be performing. Below are some more details released on the show from ABC. Note how Mark Ballas and Chelsie Hightower will return to dance. Derek Hough is joining dancer Alison Holker of “So You Think You Can Dance” for an “exceptional Latin infused choreographed number”. The two team songs the couples will be dancing to on Monday night are Rihanna’s “Disturbia” Disturbia - Now That's What I Call Music, Vol. 29 and Evanescence’s “Bring Me to Life.” Bring Me to Life - Fallen More details below. It’s going to be a fun Halloween!

“Episode 1307 & 1307A” — Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars” kicks off live from the ballroom with an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the remaining couples as they get ready for their big Halloween night during the special ABC premiere of “Scared Shrekless,” which airs Monday,
October 31 from 7:58-8:30 p.m., ET. Inspired by the hit feature film “Shrek,” viewers will join Shrek (Mike Myers) as he celebrates his favorite holiday, ogre-style. Shreck ditches the standard tricks or treats and challenges fairy-tale characters, including Donkey (Dean Edwards) and Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas), to a scary storytelling contest. Just as the contest is set to begin, they all discover they must spend the night in Lord Farguaad’s haunted castle, and the last one to be scared “Shrekless” will win.

Then, the Halloween Night event continues with an exciting Halloween-themed episode of “Dancing with the Stars,” filled with thrilling performances from the remaining six couples. Each pair will light up the ballroom floor with killer costumes and an electrifying dance to some of Halloween’s favorite spooky tunes. Later in the night they return to the floor when Team Tango’s J.R & Karina, Nancy & Tristan and David & Kym, dancing to Rihanna’s “Disturbia,” battle Team Paso’s Ricki & Derek, Hope & Maksim and Rob & Cheryl, dancing to Evanescence’s “Bring Me to Life.” The gripping 90-minute show airs MONDAY, OCTOBER 31 (8:30-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

This week on “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show,” global pop sensation Justin Bieber and the best selling R&B group of all time, Boyz II Men, collaborate for a television premiere performance of “Fa La La,” accompanied by pro dancers Mark Ballas and Chelsie Hightower. “Fa La La” is from Bieber’s Christmas album, “Under the Mistletoe,” available November 1st. Bieber will hit the stage for a second time with a knockout performance of his megahit song, “Never Say Never.” Pro dancer Derek Hough joins “So You Think You Can Dance” dancer Alison Holker for an exceptional Latin infused choreographed number. Additionally, this season’s second “AT&T Spotlight Performance” will truly be an emotional and unique dance performance, accompanied by hot new recording artist Christina Perri singing her smash hit, “Arms.” In the end, the sixth couple eliminated must say goodbye, TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 1 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET).

In other TV mentions, don’t miss seeing Bruno Tonioli on Jimmy Kimmel Live after the show Monday night. Kym Johnson and David Arquette will also guest on Good Morning America on Thursday, Nov. 3rd.

DWTS12 – Romeo Miller Promises Justin Bieber Surprise If He Makes It To The Finale

Are any of you a Justin Bieber fan? If so, you are being called upon. Hollywood Life interviewed Romeo this week. In the interview, Romeo promises he will have a Justin Bieber surprise if people keep voting for him and he makes it to the finale. Not sure if this attempt to get votes will work, but, Romeo makes some good points about a person’s dance back ground below. Just because a person might have a dancing background doesn’t mean they will be good dancers in the ballroom.

“All the Justin Bieber fans, y’all can vote for me as well. If you all keep voting for me I’ll have a surprise, something with Justin. I can’t really tell but if I make it to the finale, it’ll be a great surprise for Bieber fans,” revealed Romeo in an exclusive interview with HollywoodLife.com.

Romeo played celebrity basketball with Bieber a few months ago, and we can’t wait to see what the 21-year-old rapper has planned with his all-star teammate! Romeo talked about how the season would go if Justin were on Dancing with the Stars.

“If Justin Bieber was on DWTS everybody else might as well just quit. He wouldn’t have a problem with the fan votes. Plus I think Bieber has a heads up because he already likes dancing and already has some dance moves!” said Romeo.

Still, the singer/actor wants to point out that a background in dance doesn’t necessarily make ballroom easier. “It’s actually a challenge, it’s not as easy as it looks,” confesses Romeo. “I’ve had friends come by my rehearsals, friends who are dancers, and they try to do the moves with me and it’s a different process. A hard process. Ballroom dancing is a whole other thing.”
