Dancing With The Stars Season 17 Las Vegas Odds For Week 4

The new Las Vegas Odds have been posted at Sports Bovada!! They are still picking Corbin Bleu for the win with Amber Riley close behind! Also, check out how they’ve tied Christina Milian and Elizabeth Berkley for 3rd. Give it up for Snooki as she has raised up the ladder the most compared to last week’s odds. But geez, if they can bet on Snooki, why not Bill Engvall too who they have placed last again. 8O I sometimes don’t understand the odds makers?

Corbin Bleu 7/4
Amber Riley 5/2
Christina Milan 6/1
Elizabeth Berkley 6/1
Snooki 10/1
Brant Daugherty 12/1
Jack Osbourne 12/1
Leah Remini 16/1
Valerie Harper 66/1
Bill Engvall 100/1

Below are last week’s odds:

Corbin Bleu 2/1
Amber Riley 7/2
Christina Milan 7/2
Elizabeth Berkley 13/2
Jack Osbourne 10/1
Brant Daugherty 12/1
Leah Remini 12/1
Snooki 12/1
Bill Nye 50/1
Valerie Harper 50/1
Bill Engvall 100/1

So, what do you think? Do you agree with the odds makers this time? Let us know in comments and let’s see what Heidi and Court think too…..

Courtney: Do they REALLY still think Valerie has a better chance of winning than Bill??? After this week??? I’d say the hammer kinda dropped on Valerie and Bill had a breakthrough week – I would think Bill’s stock would have gone up and Valerie’s would have plummeted to the bottom.  God bless Valerie, she’s a joy and an inspiration to watch, but I think we’ve seen the best we’re going to see out of her – and even if she’s getting a ton of votes, if she’s also getting scores in the teens, her days are likely numbered on this show. Bill only seems to be gaining popularity & improving his scores – and while I wouldn’t put it past The Three Stooges/The Men Upstairs to try and backdoor Bill in order to save a dubious vote-getter (but better dancer) like Elizabeth, Christina, or Brant, I like to think they’re perhaps starting to see the value in keeping Bill around.  Glad Snooki managed to leapfrog over Brant, but I don’t agree with Jack dropping – he had an off-week, yes, but I think Brant’s popularity is going to be rather fleeting – while Jack will likely have an appealing growth arc that peaks later this season, when it really counts.  Not even gonna comment on the top 2 – already beginning to tire of the “Is it going to be Corbin or Amber who wins???” debate.  And I think the oddsmakers are smoking crack if they think Elizabeth or Christina’s odds of winning are that good – particularly the former, who still seems to be failing to connect with viewers.

Heidi: Let me answer it for you, Courtney – Amber isn’t going to win. :-) I love Amber.  I love her personality, I love her work ethic, I love her relationship with Derek…but I don’t believe she will win. She was dancing in low heels because she rolled her ankle, and now she’s having knee problems. Corbin may not be as popular from a fanbase standpoint, but he’s going to have the judges on his side. And how can he not? He and Elizabeth are the ringers of the season and he isn’t lacking the personality like Elizabeth is. I think, as long as Amber doesn’t seriously injure herself, the top 2 is probably right.  I will be VERY disappointed if Bill and Snookie aren’t the next two in the line up. And I don’t think it’s out of the question. Liz and Christina might be ringers, but Snookie and Bill have heart and personality in spades. Not to mention their relationships with their partners.  I still believe that either Christina or Liz (but probably not both) is going to be eliminated by week 6 or 7.  This, of course, all depends on how heavy handed the judges are going to get to try to keep the better dancers around. They need to be careful though, or people will see the man behind the curtain, especially if Snookie and Bill continue to improve. I think Brant and Jack are up there after Snookie and Bill. The woman left standing after either Liz or Christina (leaning toward Christina at this point) is eliminated will likely snag 3rd or 4th place, shuffling the rest down a slot.  :-)

DWTS Season 17, Week 3 – Who’s Dancing What…and When??

Well, it’s Hollywood Week, kids and that means we have to have a bazillion different dance styles! Heaven forbid we actually compare the dancers to each other. The pairs of couples that do have the same dances are rather interesting, though. Leah and Valerie?? Amber and Christina?? Brant and Corbin?? Nicole and Bill E?? Then we have Elizabeth all by herself on the foxtrot, which will likely be square in her wheelhouse. I expect 10’s on that one. That leaves us with the guy with the bad knee who has…JIVE. Yeah, there’s nothing funny at all about these dances. :-)

Note: As usual, I have made a guess at the order. Camera blocking is back to its usual day, so maybe we’ll find out some of the dance order at some point today.

ETA1: So, Jack and Cheryl make it to later in the show. Not sure that means anything anymore, since there is no “last”, what with the elimination and all.

Dancing With The Stars Season 17 Las Vegas Odds Going Into Week 3

Oh, I am in agony as I read the new odds at Sports Bovada!! :( I wish Bill Engvall was not placed last. I also don’t like how low they are putting Valerie. And again, I am just not feeling it with Leah Remini. How she could be getting 12/1 odds to win this season is beyond me? Crazy! Oh well, I’m going to take comfort knowing the odds makers were wrong in their placings last week even though I’m agreeing with their top 6 this week.

Corbin Bleu 2/1
Amber Riley 7/2
Christina Milan 7/2
Elizabeth Berkley 13/2
Jack Osbourne 10/1
Brant Daugherty 12/1
Leah Remini 12/1
Snooki 12/1
Bill Nye 50/1
Valerie Harper 50/1
Bill Engvall 100/1

Below are last week’s odds:

Amber Riley 2/1
Corbin Bleu 3/1
Elizabeth Berkley 11/2
Christina Milan 7/1
Snooki 15/2
Jack Osbourne 10/1
Brant Daugherty 14/1
Leah Remini 14/1
Valerie Harper 20/1
Keyshawn Johnson 33/1
Bill Engvall 100/1
Bill Nye 100/1

Let’s see what Miss Heidi and Court think. Please let us know what you think too in comments.

Courtney: Not a whole lot to say, except that I think Christina & Elizabeth still might be a bit too high – just judging from chatter amongst fans, these seem to be two contestants that may not be making a strong connection with viewers.  Good dancers, sure – but I’m not sure they’re very memorable entertainers.  Getting a sort of Audrina Patridge vibe off of Christina in particular – and a bit of a Chynna Phillips vibe off of Elizabeth.  I think Valerie should maybe be a bit higher, too – I think her story will keep her around for awhile, possibly longer than Brant or even Jack.  Don’t know what to make of Leah – I can’t decide if she’s getting a ton of votes or just enough to stay.

Heidi: I think one of the Christina/Elizabeth combo will go far, but one will be a shocking elimination, possibly in week 4. I don’t think there’s room for both of them, but once one of them is eliminated, the other could go to the finals. I could be wrong – lots hinges on the scoring and how badly the judges want them to stay.  I also think that if Leah gets a crap score at some point and doesn’t have the protection she did last week, she could beat both those other ladies out the door. I’m seeing a lot of support for BOTH the Bills and now Brant and Peta are kissing in the parking lot, so some crazy women will fall for that and they’ll be fine. :-) For a while.  Basically, I think the top four are right, minus EITHER Liz or Christina – I think one of those ladies’ spots might be taken from them by….Snicole. :-)

DWTS Season 17, Week 2 – Who’s Dancing What…and When??

So, who’s going home Monday night?? I’m guessing someone who dances either 2nd, 3rd or 4th. Maybe. Who knows??  Last week they seemed to front load the show with the good dancers, perhaps they will do that again.

Please note, we don’t actually know what Snooki and Valerie are dancing, hence the question marks. Those are my guesses. :-) Also note that this order is also my preliminary guess – and I didn’t spend much time pondering it. :-) I will add in the actual dance order when they start getting tweeted.

ETA1: Off by one on Cheryl and Jack. And why is everyone so silent this week?? :-)

ETA2: Wasn’t off by too much on Brant…but is he really doing so well that he’s going second to last??

ETA3: Okay, so Val says they’re up first and Christina said they are “early” in the show. So I’ve switched a few things around. The stuff in red is what we’re reasonably sure of. :-)

PureDWTS Season 17 Las Vegas Odds Going Into Week 2

My, how the Las Vegas odds can change after the couples dance and that they do as we approach the 2nd episode of Dancing With The Stars Season 17. Note the odds makers at Sports Bovada are putting Amber Riley in first place now. The top four are the same but, just switched around a bit. They don’t have Valerie Harper in last. She’s moved up the list, but, I think she should be even higher? And Leah Remini? Well, I think she should be placed in the bottom three if not last. I’m just not feeling it? I was also a little shocked on Snooki’s odds being so high now? I think she should placed in the bottom four or five.

Amber Riley 2/1
Corbin Bleu 3/1
Elizabeth Berkley 11/2
Christina Milan 7/1
Snooki 15/2
Jack Osbourne 10/1
Brant Daugherty 14/1
Leah Remini 14/1
Valerie Harper 20/1
Keyshawn Johnson 33/1
Bill Engvall 100/1
Bill Nye 100/1

Below are last week’s odds:

Corbin Bleu 5/2
Christina Milan 13/4
Amber Riley 11/2
Elizabeth Berkley 11/2
Leah Remini 7/1
Snooki 8/1
Brant Daugherty 10/1
Keyshawn Johnson 10/1
Jack Osbourne 25/1
Bill Engvall 50/1
Bill Nye 50/1
Valerie Harper 50/1

So, what do you think? Do you agree with this week’s odds? Let see what Heidi and Courtney think. Let us know your thoughts too in comments.

Courtney: Ehhh…I’m not sure really what to think for this week, other than that Amber’s probably correct at the top with Corbin nipping at her heels, and Elizabeth & Christina following up behind.  The rest is kind of murky for me – I doubt Bill is headed home this week, but I do think his novelty will wear off before long; I think Bill may have more longevity than we originally thought; and based on murmurings here – Leah’s days may be numbered. Brant, Jack, & Keyshawn are big question marks for me – I don’t think they’re doing terribly with votes, but I don’t think they’re doing fantastic with votes, either.  Snooki & Valerie are somewhere between the top tier (Amber, Corbin, Elizabeth, & Christina) and the guys I have no clue about (Jack, Keyshawn, & Brant).  I think things will become clearer come Monday, when we see the results of the first vote – beyond that, I’m just feeling discombobulated :-P

Heidi: I think they have the top five right…just not in that order. :-) As much as I love Amber and Derek, I really doubt that she’s going to win this thing. And that’s what these odds are – the odds to win. I still think that Corbin is going to take this, mainly because I think he’ll end up being good across both ballroom and latin (as he should be, being second only to Elizabeth in terms of ringerdom) and I’m not sure that Amber will be. Plus, I doubt anyone is going to let Derek get a 5th trophy AND Len’s bias will certainly come out shortly.  If Snooki can reign it in a bit, I think she could edge Christina and Elizabeth out of the top three, based mainly on fanbase. I think one of those two (Christina and Elizabeth) could be a shocking elimination – I’m just not sure both of them can make the top 5. I guess we’ll see.

Dancing with the Stars Season 17, Week 1 – Who’s Dancing What…and When??

Hoo-ray!! It’s that time again folks. Time to talk about dances and dance order. Who’s going to do well and who’s…not. :-)

Leah going second to last is no surprise as she’s one of the bigger names. I’d be willing to bet that Valerie goes last – takers? :-) Amber got a good spot at the top of the second hour. Pretty interesting that they stuck Bill in the second hour.

ETA 1: I take it back. I don’t think they will have two foxtrots back to back and Leah and Valerie have the same dance. So…maybe she will go first?? No, cuz Jack is going second. Hmmmm…Here’s my guess. For now.

ETA 2: hmmmm…someone tells me that Peta says they are dancing first, so I think there was a shuffle late in the game.

ETA 3: And Cheryl says they are dancing 4th. How widespread is the shuffle??

ETA 4: So, Snooki’s number is 12 – but will she dance last??

ETA 5: A little birdie tells me that the DWTS crew will play paparazzi in the opening number tomorrow night. :-)

ETA 6: And Tony says he and Leah are dancing second. It’s starting to seem like they set the phone numbers before they did the dance order. Possibly because they had to do camera blocking a day earlier than normal? Who knows what’s going on.

ETA 7: And a birdie named Courtney tells me that she’s 75% sure that the opening number is to “Applause” by Lady Gaga. She’s sure it’s a Lady Gaga song, in any case. :-D  She also told me to blame her if it’s wrong.

ETA 8: Sharna says they are dancing 8th…and their number 3408? Well, see, all is not lost. :-)

Dancing With The Stars Season 17 – Las Vegas Odds Before The Premiere

Awww, our first Las Vegas Odds post for Dancing With The Stars Season 17! Even without seeing our new couples dance yet on Dancing With The Stars, the odds makers have their bets in at Sports Bovada. Note how their top four include Corbin Blue, Christina Milian, and Amber Riley and Elizabeth Berkely. They have Bill Engvall, Bill Nye, and Valerie Harper tied for last place.

Corbin Bleu 5/2
Christina Milan 13/4
Amber Riley 11/2
Elizabeth Berkley 11/2
Leah Rimini 7/1
Snooki 8/1
Brant Daugherty 10/1
Keyshawn Johnson 10/1
Jack Osbourne 25/1
Bill Engvall 50/1
Bill Nye 50/1
Valerie Harper 50/1

My thoughts: The top four is looking reasonable to me with an exception to Keyshawn Johnson. I think he should be placed higher. I think Valerie Harper will do much better too. They should have her listed in the middle of the pack somewhere. I also think Brant Daugherty should be placed a little higher as well. It’s so hard to tell though without seeing them dance first! Thank goodness, it won’t be long until dance time. :)

Let’s see what Heidi and Courtney think and you let us know in comments what you think too…..

Courtney: I think Bill should be higher – I’m seeing a lot more buzz about him than I initially thought I would, and he’s got some dance background…so he may have some staying power.  I would drop Leah and Brant down a bit – I just think Brant is less well-known and Leah seems to rub some people the wrong way, so they may struggle with votes.  I would probably drop Jack down a bit, too – I’m not sure he’s going to hold the same “redemption” appeal that his sister did.  As for the top – I think they have it ABOUT right, but I think Amber might have more of an edge than Christina – she’s more current, and she has Derek, who consistently brings out the best in his partners.

Heidi: I think the top four is right on target, not having seen any of them dance. Have to disagree with Vogue about Keyshawn, though – someone has to be on the bottom and I’m not sure this guy is into it. I guess we’ll see. I do think Valerie should be higher, toward the middle of the pack. I think Leah needs to come down and Bill Nye needs to go up some. I think he’s going to be underestimated in a big way. Jack Osborne?? No idea – I don’t think that kind of lightning hits one family twice, frankly. And part of that has to do with who your competition is, of course. We’ll have to wait and see how they all stack up against each other, but only one Kardashian could rise toward the top and I think only one Osborne will as well. And Kelly already has. I’d leave Snooki where she is, put Bill E at the bottom by himself, and move Brant down a bit as well. Being hot is no guarantee – just ask Aiden Turner. Or Ashley Hamilton. Or Mike Catherwood. Or Jack Wagner. :-D

Odds For DWTS Season 16 Finale, Zendaya And Kellie Pickler Neck And Neck

“Never let the odds keep you from doing what you know in your heart you were meant to do.” ~H Jackson Brown Jr.Orison Swett Mardenon on beating the odds

Our last Las Vegas Odds post for Dancing With The Stars Season 16! You ready? This time Sports Bovada has placed Zendaya and Kellie Pickler in ‘neck and neck’ odds for first and second place. Then in a little further down in third place is Aly Raisman and Jacoby Jones in 4th. Do you agree or disagree with this scenario? Do you think Zendaya is going to take it all or will Kellie or one of the others? Who is the dark horse? I tend to think JACOBY is the dark horse. Watch out for him to be explosive Monday night. I think Kellie will take it all with Jacoby placing second or even first? We will soon see, but, that’s where I’d put my bets and who I’m rooting for. I’m really liking Aly now too especially after her and Mark’s Afro Jazz dance.

So, below are the new odds:

Zendaya Coleman 2/3
Kellie Pickler 6/5
Aly Raisman 14/1
Jacoby Jones 20/1

Here are last week’s Las Vegas Odds to compare.

Zendaya Coleman 2/3
Kellie Pickler 13/10
Aly Raisman 12/1
Jacoby Jones 18/1
Ingo Rademacher 150/1

Let’s see what Heidi and Courtney think and be sure you let us know your thoughts and predictions too in comments….

Courtney: To be quite honest, I’m just kind of ready for this season to be over – and I find myself giving fewer and fewer hoots about who wins each week.  :-P I’m fully expecting Zendaya to get set up to win this thing, and I’m vacillating between them making it a neck-and-neck race with either Kellie or Aly…it SHOULD be Kellie, but they seem to have this love affair with Aly as of late, even though I still find her to be a total snooze to watch.  I do think the freestyle round could be a make-or-break dance – even though I said the same thing last season, and the strongest freestyle didn’t win.  I think Kellie & Jacoby could be the standouts in that round, although if Zendaya goes the hip-hop route and Aly goes the gymnastic route (and I think both are pretty likely), I’m guessing the judges are going to gush, regardless of how impressive the dances actually are.  I’m worried that Jacoby is going to get lowballed, regardless of how well he actually dances, and that he may not be able to hope for anything better than 4th :-( I’d say he’d have the MBT in the bag in a regular season, but with the judges getting increasingly wonky each season, I don’t think that holds true anymore.  All this manipulation makes me think it’s time to move on and blog something else…

Heidi: Word, Court.  Do the odds makers have it right? Probably. Is that how it SHOULD be? No, but you don’t have to be a genius (or, actually, maybe you do :-D ) to see the set up here. They LOVE them some Zendaya and Aly, yet Kellie isn’t emotionally connecting to Derek. Uh huh. Well, I guess it probably is easier to emotionally connect when you get to add a bit of hip hop to every dance and you don’t even have to wear ballroom shoes…or do the rumba.  In any case – the truth (and the chances of the odds being right) will be in the scoring and the words they use to critique the dancers – not the actual dances themselves.  What little weasel words will they use to tear anyone not named Zendaya down to try to manipulate the audience?? I think the key will be in how they score Jacoby, actually. They will either low ball him to keep him away from the trophy (which means that one or all of the ladies is getting enough votes to beat him if his score is low enough) OR they will score him about right and let the chips fall (which means he’s getting a ton of votes and it doesn’t matter how they score him). There are two things at play here – the judges ego/show credibility and TPTB vested interests.  We MAY get to see which one is stronger.  What I mean when I say “judges ego” – do you really think that any of those three want to come out on the wrong side of history??  They (and TPTB to a much lesser extent) want to be able to point and say “Look, the people pick the winner and we the judges were also right on target” – it’s ego.  That’s why I say that if Jacoby is going to win *regardless* cuz he’s getting a ton of votes – they will score him appropriately, or maybe even a bit of an over score. However, if it is possible for someone else to win (Zendaya is really all they care about with Aly and Kellie a distant 2nd and 3rd, respectively), they will low ball Jacoby with the intent of one of the other three getting the trophy.  Then the scoring of the other three comes into play.  I suspect, thanks to her own fanbase and lots and lots of help from the producers all season, that Zendaya is getting a ton of votes.  I think it’s an all or nothing thing with Jacoby, frankly – which leads me to think that the odds makers have it about right. Of course, the judges did put Jacoby in first place last week, AHEAD of two better dancers, so…foreshadowing??

The Odds Makers Switch DWTS Jacoby Jones And Aly Raisman, New Odds For Week 9

“Success is not measured by what you accomplish but by the opposition you have encountered, and the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds.” ~Orison Swett Mardenon on beating the odds

Sports Bovada has posted their new odds for Dancing With The Stars. What do the odds makers think this week? Well, take a look below. Note: for the first time this season, they have placed Jacoby behind Aly. I don’t agree and I hope Jacoby makes a strong showing this week. I still think he is just as much of a force in this competition as Kellie and Zendaya? Don’t get me wrong, I like Aly as a person, but, why is Aly so over-rated and will the judges continue to overlook her and Zendaya’s faults while crucifying Kellie’s, Jacoby’s, and Ingo’s? Sad, and I’m not sure I’m ready for another week of this? :?: :-?

So, below are the new odds:

Zendaya Coleman 2/3
Kellie Pickler 13/10
Aly Raisman 12/1
Jacoby Jones 18/1
Ingo Rademacher 150/1

Here are last week’s Las Vegas Odds to compare.

Zendaya Coleman 10/11
Kellie Pickler 1/1
Jacoby Jones 10/1
Aly Raisman 12/1
Ingo Rademacher 100/1
Sean Lowe 100/1

Let’s see what Miss Heidi and Court think. Be sure you let us know your thoughts and predictions too in the comments section.

Courtney: *shrug* Maybe it’s the fact that Andy is gone, maybe it’s the fact that voting (either to keep someone in the competition, or in the various Twitter contests) seems to be an exercise in futility, but I just find myself altogether apathetic about the odds (and really, the show in general) now.  It doesn’t seem to matter how well any of the couples dance anymore – the praise/ridicule they get will have little to do with how they actually dance, and at the end of the day, the person that TPTB have a vested interest in winning, will win…and right now, it seems pretty clear to me that that’s Zendaya.  And oddly enough, I’m beginning to wonder if they’re setting it up to be a close finish between Zendaya and Aly as the last two standing – double-whammy with the youngin’s, maybe? Lord knows…I just find myself puzzled by the gushing over Aly, considering that Kellie & Jacoby have far bigger personalities and Aly tends to come across rather bland.  As for Kellie & Jacoby – if the Zendaya & Aly lovefest continues, I worry that they may not be able to hope for any better than 3rd & 4th place, respectively.  I think Jacoby may unfortunately get picked apart for subpar technique, and Kellie may be collateral damage as a result of Len’s “there wasn’t enough content!” tirades.  Ingo? He’ll be gone this week, unless they really lay into Jacoby…which is possible.  I’m hoping that TPTB realize that they’re going to be better off having a good entertainer (Jacoby) in the finale, than another ABC family member who’s pretty marginal (Ingo).  But as I said, I’m fully preparing myself to be let down by the finale, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we lost a fun contestant like Jacoby to make room for another ABC pimpee like Ingo.  Just…blah.

Heidi: Read Derek’s blog and tell me what you think of what he says Len said to him when he and Kellie were in jeopardy. It does NOT give me faith that this ending won’t be totally manipulated, as opposed to just a bit manipulated as it’s been in the past.  It would be funny if Zendaya and Aly split the vote, though, and either Kellie or Jacoby slipped in there. I just don’t get the Aly love fest either. I don’t think she touches either Kellie or Zendaya in talent nor Jacoby in FUN.  The fact that I can barely bring myself to think about The Cheesecake should tell you how I feel about this season right now.  They just have it SO set up to pimp Zendaya every step of the way. On Facebook, Kellie is wondering why she and Derek haven’t gotten an encore yet – good f*%king question, Kel.  Aly’s had two and Zendaya’s had 2 or 3- if you count Team Paso. If that doesn’t tell you about the outcome of this show, nothing does.  Lots of visual and audible cues that Zendaya and Aly are supposed to be winners. Some visual cues that Kellie is a winner, but then they hide her completely for a results show and then smack the crap out of Derek the week – giving the audience the BIG cue that Derek’s doing it wrong. Gotcha ABC. Congratulations, you’ve completely shredded ANY faith I had in you NOT fixing the actual outcome. I’ve been backing you up for years, saying you don’t care who wins. Guess Disney got you this season, eh??

Dancing With The Stars Las Vegas Odds Going Into Week 8: What Do You Think?

“If somebody says no to you, or if you get cut, Michael Jordan was cut his first year, but he came back and he was the best ever. That is what you have to have. The attitude that I’m going to show everybody, I’m going to work hard to get better and better.” ~Basketball player Magic Johnson on beating the odds

Sports Bovada has their new odds posted for Dancing With The Stars Week 8. Unfortunately, they were right about the last place couple last week (as they have been for a couple of weeks now) and Andy Dick indeed was eliminated. Will they be right again? Take a look below.

Zendaya Coleman 10/11
Kellie Pickler 1/1
Jacoby Jones 10/1
Aly Raisman 12/1
Ingo Rademacher 100/1
Sean Lowe 100/1

Here are last week’s Las Vegas Odds to compare.

Zendaya Coleman 1/1
Kellie Pickler 11/10
Jacoby Jones 7/1
Aly Raisman 12/1
Ingo Rademacher 75/1
Sean Lowe 75/1
Andy Dick 100/1

I think the new odds are pretty correct, though, I think Ingo is a better dancer and a more genuine, passionate, and likable person than Sean. So, I think Ingo’s odds should be a little higher…..and especially after Sean’s rude comments this week saying this of Andy to E News: “He probably lasted a lot longer than he should have.” Yes, I’m still grrring! Really Sean? What makes you think you are all that great of a dancer? What’s more, Andy had you beat in the entertainment, genuine, class, and likable factor in spades. Good luck with that. As for the rest of celebrities, I think Kellie should be in the top spot with Jacoby second …or even Jacoby and Kellie tied. Then again, it might be too early to put them tied, but, in the end, I think Jacoby will take it all. Yes, I am huge fan to him now! He makes me laugh and I love how he sang to Andy telling him he was his best friend in Andy’s elimination interview with On The Red Carpet. Let’s see what Miss Heidi and Court think. Be sure to let us know what you think too in comments.

Courtney: Before I weigh in on the actual odds, can I just say that I think EVERYONE in the cast would be a lot better off if they just stuck to the typical “company lines” about other people in the cast??? Sean probably would have just been better off saying “Andy worked really hard and I’m glad to have gotten to know him!” or something to that extent than blurting out “Yeah, he probably lasted a lot longer than he should have.” And I think Val probably would have caught a lot less flak if he had simply said “We pick Jacoby & Karina” and then shut up – if you don’t give your detractors anything to work with, they can’t use it against you.  These are two instances in which the Sabrina Bryan philosophy of having rainbows shoot out your ass every time you speak would probably help :-P And I find it funny that SEAN of all people thinks Andy lasted longer than he should have, considering that Sean really wore out his welcome by week 3. But anyway…looks like the oddsmakers are just vacillating  between Zendaya & Kellie as the winners of this season.  At this point I’m not even sure I’m all that invested in who wins, because Andy really was the big winner this season for me – the only one who would have made a really good, inspiring human interest story, had he won.  I don’t see Sean or Ingo making the finale, and I don’t think any of the 4 who will likely make the finale (Zendaya, Kellie, Jacoby, & Aly) are really all that hungry for the trophy, nor do they really need it – I will probably be throwing all my votes to Jacoby from now on, because he seems to be having the most fun.  So yeah, I guess I agree with the odds…but that doesn’t mean I’m particularly excited about them.

Heidi: I find it interesting that the odds makers have basically said, “You ain’t getting JACK from us if you pick Kellie or Zendaya” while essentially making Jacoby’s odds longer.  I will laugh pretty hard if Jacoby ends up winning.  I’m no longer convinced that he WILL win, although I think he has a better shot than the odds makers do. Not only is he likely to be the only male and athlete in the top 3 (whether Kellie or Aly makes it…or Zendaya…who knows?), but the two women could split the vote, making it easier for him. I think this coming week will be the make or break week for both Zendaya and Jacoby – I don’t really believe that Kellie’s chances are as good as even money (they SHOULD be, but we know all about the silliness that pervades the DWTS fanbase re: Derek and his partners), and they are probably on track with Aly’s, which is why the fate rests with those two. If Jacoby does a stellar job and remains likeable, I think he moves into a better position than he is now. The question is Zendaya – the judges showed a willingness to give her the actual score she deserved as opposed to over scoring her. Did they do that because she’s getting a ton of votes….or did they just see a “27” in that dance like many of us did and they were afraid of losing what little credibility they have? Who can say? But I think it’s now up to Val to not fail her choreographically – make sure last week was a fluke and not the result of too much pressure with an on-going negative impact. She could win this thing….but we all know that the judges scores DO matter, as does the free style.  An off week by Jacoby OR Val/Zendaya could leave the door open for the one of the other two ladies.  I’m also still not sure of Derek’s fanbase – did his fans say “screw it” after last season, to the point that it rests on Kellie and the average viewer?? No idea.

Heidi Still: I kinda feel like we are venturing into a bit of uncharted territory with the top four dancers: not just a singer, but a COUNTRY singer (who I think have fans that are beaten in passion only by the teenboppers ala Justin Bieber); a Disney Kid but not just any Disney Kid, the one they have pegged as the next big thing who would really benefit from winning this thing; A football player, but not just ANY football player, one that had a record breaking touchdown run in the most recent Super Bowl, and; an Olympian –  a RECENT, gold medal winning Olympian.  I dunno, but to me, this is a tough one to call. I’m thinking that the top three in the odds are correct – but I’m not at all certain that’s the order they’ll be in at the end of the day.
