Dancing with the Stars 2009 Week 8 Music

Another wonderful selection of music and dances. Plus, Team Mambo went up against Team Tango. Turns out that was also Beyonce up against Britney Spears. Dancing with the Stars on InFANity

InFANity is a show on the TV Guide channel that I’d never heard of before – but this week they delve into Dancing with the Stars. The video is in five parts, each part covering different aspects of the show. Every part has a lot of clips of dances and interviews, past and present. Stars from every season are interviewed, as are the judges and the hosts. The only people we see, but don’t hear a lot from, are my favorites – The Pros.

Derek Hough Directs BHB Video for Do You Love Me

Derek directs a music video set to the Ballas Hough Band’s song Do You Love Me. The video stars many of the celebrities and professional dancers from this seasons DWTS, in addition to brief appearances by Tom Bergeron, Samantha Harris, Shannon Elizabeth, Joanna Pacitti, Rascal Flatts and Boyz II Men. I love this week of the show since there is such an amazing variety of dances that you get to see. It’s really fun to watch. Hard to compare for judging, but great entertainment. Also, it provides a great variety of music as well.

Pure Dancing with the Stars Season 8 Voting Results

Last week I posted a poll to predict who will be the winner of Dancing with the Stars Season 8. The results from the voting is in and I must admit that I’m not surprised by the voting. That’s a bad sign for the show. Unless of course, the Pure Dancing with the Stars readers are wrong, but that has yet to happen on the big things.

Here are the results of the voting for winner of Dancing with the Stars season 8:
Gilles Marini – 43.14%
Shawn Johnson – 20.26%
Melissa Rycroft – 19.61%
Lil’ Kim – 9.80%
Chuck Wicks – 4.58%
Ty Murray – 1.31%
Lawrence Taylor – 1.31%

Looks like people have predicted that Cheryl Burke is going to take home another Mirror Ball Trophy. Gilles dancing definitely deserves it. We’ll see if his and Cheryl’s fans can do their part.

Dancing with the Stars Viennese Waltz and Paso Doble Music

Tonight’s dances were the viennese waltz and paso doble. 2 really interesting dances. They don’t usually have the same wow factor as some of the other dances(except for the Paso Doble sometimes), but the music is always nice. Plus, seeing Steve-O do a viennese waltz is priceless.

Lindy Hop and Argentine Tango Music from Dancing with the Stars 2009

Nice to see Lindy Hop grace the stage of Dancing with the Stars. I’m also a big fan of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy so nice to see them on the list below since they’re great for Lindy Hop music. Could you get 2 dances that were more different in both style and music?
