She looked beautiful and she’s so in love with Rob Derringer. They talk on Madonna, “Hamilton”, the Dallas shootings, and animal rescue (Rob’s Raven is awesome. And lol to what she said on “The Birds” movie). For even more coverage, see LiveKelly.com.

PureDWTS: The Pros, The Judges, & Their (Sometimes Embarrassing) Music Video Pasts!

Because it’s summer and there’s not much else DWTS-related to talk about – why not get a blast from the past and take a look at what some of our pros and judges do when they’re not performing on the show? And in this case, the activity in question is appearing in music videos – with varying results.  Some of them are pretty cool, others are blink-and-you-miss-it cameos, and some…should probably stay buried forever 🙂 Let’s check it out… Read more..

Ultrasound sales specialist by day, semi-knowledgeable DWTS fan by night...with a smattering of hair & makeup enthusiast, occasional model, baker, and crazy cat lady peppered in to make things REALLY interesting ;-) I might pee my pants in happiness if Donnie Wahlberg ever does DWTS - or if they ever use "Sunglasses at Night" as a paso doble.

Dancing With The Stars Sharna Burgess Attends ‘Overcome, Overjoyed’ Premiere (Photos)

Check out these cool photos taken by Curtis Sabir Photography below! This past weekend, Dancing With The Stars pro and Troupe member, Sharna Burgess attended the premiere of “Overcomed, Overjoyed” which features former lead dancer for Madonna, Carlton Wilborn (Madonna’s Blond Ambition Tour and The Girlie Show Tour). Sharna also posed with three girls from the cast: Na’Kia Bell-Smith (Grey’s Anatomy), Audrianna Bartholemew (Chorister for the LA Children’s Chorus Concert), and Michaela Reed (Boys & Girls Club Idol Winner). She also posed with producer/director of the play Charlia Boyer. Stay tuned. Sharna is going to give us an update on her summer and her thoughts on the new all star cast of Dancing With The Stars. In the meantime, enjoy these fun pics. Being I’m a huge Madonna fan, I’m enjoying seeing Carlton again. You also might remember him in Madonna’s iconic “Vogue” video. Yay! Beautiful Sharna! 🙂

DWTS Judge Carrie Anne Inaba To Teach For Dance House USA, Co-Hosts LIVE! With Kelly

Today, Carrie Anne Inaba helped Kelly Ripa co-host her show. It started out with Madonna’s “Girl Gone Wild” single playing in the background (love this song! Girl Gone Wild (Remixes) - Madonna  ) as the two came walking out on the stage. They talk of how Gelman finally won on Emmy. Next, Kelly thanked Carrie Anne for helping her daughter with a school project when they were doing the show in Hawaii. She commends Carrie Anne for being good to “little people trying to find their way”. Kelly’s daughter is also a Hip Hop dancer which leads into a discussion about how Carrie Anne is helping to teach a class for “Dance House USA” in the Hamptons in July. You can watch more in detail below. These two are fun together as always.

Pure Dancing With The Stars Odds And Ends For Your TGIF, Feb. 10th!!

Hi All!!! I hope you are all having a wonderful Friday!! Stay tuned for John’s announcement of our Brooke Burke Giveaway Contest winners. For now, here are some Dancing With The Stars odds and ends!!

First up, the producers of LIVE! With Kelly must have enjoyed Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba co-hosting with Kelly that they’ve asked her back. According to ABC Media, Carrie Ann will be helping Kelly on Tuesday, Feb. 22nd during LIVE! With Kelly’s “Hawaiian Week”. Lots of things are on tap for this special week in Hawaii including a wedding segment where Derek Hough will make an appearance again teaching the winning couple how to dance. Carson Kressley will also join in to help the couple with their wedding attire on Wednesday, Feb. 23rd. You can read more on the week at ABC Media.

In other TV mentions, Dancing With The Stars pro Mark Ballas will be weighing in on “VH1’s 100 Greatest Women In Music”. The 5-hour special will rank the “biggest of the big” including Madonna, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, Whitney Houston and more. Hours 1 and 2 will air February 13th at 10PM. For more details and other episode times, be sure to visit MarkBallas.com.

Moving on to another dancing pro!!! Have you noticed Lacey Schwimmer’s recent twitter profile picture? It looks like she’s changed her hair to a more darker shade. Well, Rex Features has some close ups of Lacey walking out and about in Los Angeles recently. Her hair is a little different from her new twitter profile picture, but, you can her current look here. What do you think? I’m liking it. I hope she goes with more natural highlights like this (versus something funky) for the show if she’s picked again.

For some more news on Derek Hough, this week he attended a Cold Play concert in Los Angeles. Don’t miss some fun shots of him at Pure Derek Hough. Heidi has also posted some cool new Cobu3D collages. A MUST SEE Derek Hough Fans!! 🙂

Thanks to this news from Evaine, Maks courted his Mom to an Espen Salburg fashion show this week looking gorgeous as ever and happy. See a fun picture of them here.

Last, but, not least, back to Dancing With The Stars co-host Brooke Burke. This week Brooke was seen on a beach in Malibu taking shots for a new photo shoot. According to her twitter, she was shooting a summer cover for Prevention Magazine. Below is a picture of her walking in the sand all smiles. You can view more pictures and read more on the shoot at the Daily Mail. Nice, I’m loving this dress!!

Ok, that is all for now. Maybe more later…if you’re good? 😉 xx

Pure DWTS Random Talk On Mel B, Brooke Burke, Corky Ballas, Madonna, And The Super Bowl

Just some random reportings today on things related to dancing and Dancing With The Stars!!

First up, join us in congratulating Spice Girl and Season 5, 2nd place winner Mel B as she has been signed on to co-host the Australian Version of Dancing With The Stars. Below is a take from Adelaide Now with a quote from Mel B confident that she can pull the job off. We wish her much luck!

“To have the opportunity to host Dancing with the Stars is great, as I know exactly what the contestants will be going through,” she said.

“To be honest, I’m just really looking forward to this year. I feel like it’s going to be my Aussie, Sydney year. I also hope to get my (Spice) girls out here.

“Emma (Bunton) and Victoria (Beckham) have new babies. As a group we’ve only been here two days, so we never got to really experience it and I’ve been telling them how fabulous it is out here.”

Speaking of co-hosting, there has been some chatter here, around the internet at various places, and at twitter about Brooke Burke possibly not co-hosting next season’s Dancing With The Stars since she tweeted about some disappointing “crazy Hollywood Industry” news which hit her hard this past week. The tweets lead many to believe it had something to do with her losing her co-hosting job. Well, with two tweets similar to the first tweet below within 8 hours apart yesterday along with Tom Bergeron addressing her as his “partner” in reply, I think it’s safe to say her job is safe?? Then again, who knows? The Hollywood Industry is indeed “crazy”. Look what happened with Steve Jones, Nicole Scherzinger, and Paula Abdul on the X Factor this week. Never did I think they’d be let go in such a fashion and so soon. 😯

Moving on! Give it up to Dancing pro Corky Ballas!! He’s been recently helping Olympic ice skating hopefuls Maia and Alex Shibutani on their choreography since last year’s world championships in which they finished third in just their first season as senior skaters. Below are some takes from ESPN. Be sure to read the link in full as they write about how costume designer Randall Christensen helped them with their costumes as well.

The Shibutani siblings got in touch with Corky Ballas through their agent, using the Yamaguchi connection, and headed to Los Angeles to begin working with him after the worlds last summer.

“But we are the first skaters he’s worked with in a while,” Alex, 20, said. “Obviously with his background, his son, Mark, and Derek and Julianne, we were honored to work with him. He’s such a fun guy to work with. It was an intensive boot camp-style Latin training with him. He’s kept up with our performances. He thought we could use a breath of fresh air.”

The coaches had high praise for the Shibutanis’ performance.

“It was awesome, awesome,” Zueva said. “All the changes worked really well. Most Latin dance movement is very sharp off ice, but it totally disappears on the floor because the surface is different. [Ballas] found them the best movement on ice.”

They worked with Ballas again in Detroit after the ISU Grand Prix Final, where they finished fifth. Alex said they have gotten “really comfortable” with the Latin style, a break from their usual, more classical style.

“The new program is much more exciting and a much stronger vehicle for us,” Alex said.

Lastly, if you are a fan to dancing in general and huge dance productions, be sure to tune into the Super Bowl halftime tonight. According to the New York Post, Madonna will be dancing, performing and singing 3 classics: Vogue Vogue - Celebration , Ray Of Light Ray of Light - Ray of Light with Holiday Holiday - Madonna mixed in it, Like A Prayer Like a Prayer - Like a Prayer , and her new, hot single Give Me All Your Luvin Give Me All Your Luvin' (feat. Nicki Minaj, M.I.A.) - Give Me All Your Luvin' (feat. Nicki Minaj, M.I.A.) - Single from her new MDNA album Give Me All Your Luvin' (feat. Nicki Minaj, M.I.A.) - Single - Madonna . I wanted to give this a special mention since number one, I’m a huge fan 🙂 and, number two, Madonna did a Salsa in challenging Dancing With The Stars rumored contender Victor Cruise at a press conference on Thursday, and number three, Nappytabs has been helping with the production of it. As you know they’ve helped with choreography on Dancing With The Stars among many other dancing accomplishments in their career. They are also currently helping Derek Hough with his new movie Cobu3D. Below are some tweets Tabitha shared about rehearsals.

Yes, can you tell I’m excited? 🙂 Be sure to let us know your thoughts and here’s to a fun Super Bowl Holiday!! xxx

UPDATE: According to Madonna website Madonnarama, the Ray of Light and Holiday Mash-up has been replaced by Music(ft. LMFAO – “Party Rock Anthem/Sexy and I Know It” Remix). Also, there will be an
“Open Your Heart/Express Yourself” interlude to transition from Give me all your Luvin’ to Like a Prayer. Madonna has tried to keep the final setlist a secret as long as she could.

DWTS 2011 – Carrie Ann Inaba Talks About Judging Dancing With The Stars and More

Carrie Ann Inaba talked with Better TV about what’s it’s like to judge one the top ratest shows in America. Carrie Ann talks of how she still gets nervous before every show. She wasn’t nervous to dance in front of 80,000 people screaming on stage, but, it’s the opposite when “judging” in a small studio setting on TV. “Throwing up” has become a rutual before every show. She says Bruno and Len are like her “husbands”. More below on the judging dynamics. Carrie Anne also talks a little about her acting background, why she likes comedy versus drama, and her future aspirations. I think this is an older video, but, it’s still fun for those suffering from Dancing With The Stars withdrawals and anything will do. Well, I think?
