Maks Chmerkovskiy of Dancing With The Stars and Dance With Me Studios is going to hold a Dance Off Contest this summer. For those interested in the contest, all you have to do is make a 30 second video of you dancing. The winner(s) of a fan vote will be sent on an ultimate Girl’s Night Out weekend which will include a private dance lesson with Maks, followed by a 2 night stay at the HPNOTIQ Super Suite in Las Vegas! Misty May-Treanor For Dancing With The Stars All-Stars Season: Yes or No?

Misty May-Treanor has been campaigning hard to be on the Dancing With The Stars All-Star season coming up. Below is her reasons for wanting to do so for what she posted at her facebook page.

Hi everyone so wanted to write to ask you to vote to get me back on Dancing With The Stars. They are having an All Star show this Fall.
1. I would love to finish what I wasn’t able to when I was on the show the last time
2. I wasn’t voted off
3. I would love for my husband to see me dance and compete
4. I want to perform for my fans!

As you might remember, Misty is a two-time Olympic gold medalist who withdrew from Dancing With The Stars 7th season after she tore an Achilles tendon in rehearsals. She was paired with Maks at the time.

DWTS Pros Peta Murgatroyd, Maks and Val Chmerkovskiy Attend Maxim Hot 100 Party

Sherri Shepherd’s Stand Up Piece On Dancing With The Stars And A Teaser For Finale

Did any of you happen to see Sherri Shepherd on the Jay Leno show Friday night? She goes through her whole time on Dancing With The Stars to when Tom Bergeron announced on twitter that it was going to be a “shocking elimination”. She didn’t think it was her being Carrie Anne said she was the “happiest contestant in history on Dancing With The Stars”. She is a hoot in this stand up piece. Check her out.

Stay tuned. As you know, Sherri and Val will be back to dance as well as all of the eliminated couples this week for the finals. Sherri tweeted this picture below of Maks and Tony in rehearsals writing that they were “flying thru the air” her. LOL!! This is going to be good….

Mel B Rumored To Return To Dancing With The Stars For All-Star Season

I can’t believe we’re having to report on rumors for next season already , but, here goes! As you know from the announcement on the Results show last night, there is indeed an All-Star Season planned for Dancing With The Stars next season. Today Radar Online is reporting Mel B’s return to the show is “practically a done deal”. Below is more. Check out the tweet she made as well….

“Mel absolutely wants to come back and take another crack at winning the coveted mirror-ball trophy,” a show insider tells RadarOnline.com. “Mel and Maks had great chemistry together and they definitely push each others buttons, which only makes their dances more intense and fiery. Remember, Maks has never won the trophy before, it’s a constant thorn in his side, and he knows his best chance of winning is going to be with Mel. It’s practically a done deal that the duo will be dancing together this fall and they are already talking about how they are going to win this time.”

During Tuesday night’s elimination show, in which fan favorite, Maria Menounos was sent home, it was announced that for the 15th season of the hit talent show, it’s first ever all star edition will air.

Mel B came in second place during the fifth season of the show in 2007, with Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The British babe has appeared on the show as a guest judge and has remained very good friends with Maksim.

Dropping a not so subtle hint, Mel posted on her Twitter account Tuesday, “@MaksimC are we gonna do this or what brotha???” Brown is currently in Australia doing X Faxtor auditions as she is a judge on the version based in Oz.

If this rumor is true, bring her on. Though I was kind of hoping Kirstie would come back to dance with Maks…or maybe Willa Ford?

DWTS14 Val Chmerkovskiy Says Donald Driver Is The Total Package

Val Chmerkovskiy flew back to New York this week after the shows. One of the first things on his agenda on Wednesday was to promote Dr. Scholl’s insoles. ESPN reports that he also talked about Dancing With The Stars and who is the front winner on the show this season. Below are some of his thoughts. It’s hard to pick a front runner, but, he says Donald Driver has the “total package”.

“The one thing I thought was the William Levy craze would die down,” Chmerkovskiy said, “but it never did!”

And he said, don’t be surprised if Driver pulls it off.

“With the long history of athletes and he playing for a blue-collar team and from a blue-collar town, I think that attitude could carry him,” said Chmerkovskiy, who partnered with TV host Sherri Shepherd but was eliminated in the third week. “Donald came in and had the right approach. He wasn’t arrogant or cocky. And he has an incredible partner. He is the total package.”

They also talk about how much respect they have for each other and the cast. Maks says he and Val have always had the same goals and yet, Val has a better and gentler way of saying things. Have you guys seen or played the free-online game for Dancing With The Stars yet? I was just taking a look at it and it’s pretty cool. Virtually, you can dance with figures that look just like your favorite pros. For instance, you can do a tango with Derek or samba with Kym like the celebrities themselves on the show. You pick what you look like, your costumes, and your dance moves. Note how Dancing With The Stars pros Kym Johnson and Tristan MacManus choreographed and captured each of the 100+ dance moves seen in the game.
