James Hinchcliffe Weighs In On The Sharna Burgess And Bonner Bolton Romance Rumors, DWTS Week 4 Teaser

Below you can watch James Hinchcliffe weigh in on the Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess romance rumors as he thinks there is some interest there.

In other things, see Fox News for a cool feature on Bonner and his personal story for what might take place Monday night on Dancing With The Stars.

“I [believed] I was dying the day it happened and I was saying my last prayer.”

The rider can’t believe he’s gone from “being paralyzed in that bed laying face up… and now dancing on this floor.”

Bolton, who won the bull riding world championship when he was 20, told Fox News, “I was on the rise again when I got hurt.”

He wouldn’t accept that he’d be paralyzed forever: “I kept pushing myself to know and believe that I would walk again, not only would I walk again, I told [doctors] they would see me walk that week before I got out of the hospital — and they had me climbing three flights of stairs.”

The determined bull rider admitted of recuperation, “It was hard to hold a fork the right way for a few months….I couldn’t bathe myself. I had to have help.”

Dancing With The Stars Maksim Chmerkovksiy Undergoes Calf Surgery

According to Maks Chmerkovksiy’s instagram, he had surgery last night for his calf. Photo below. Also below is the sweetest photo of Baby Shai sending him love and the best wishes too courtesy of Peta Murgatroyd. Speaking of Peta, she told Us Weekly on Monday that Maks is staying positive despite the circumstances. “His spirits are a little bit lifted right now, and he’s kind of looking forward to getting it (his calf) taken care of and getting it treated so he can get back out and dance.” Let’s wish Maks a speedy recovery and hope he’s back on the dance floor soon.

ETA: Sadly, Maks’ injury might be worst than he first thought. From ET….

The 37-year-old Dancing With the Stars pro star has been sidelined in the competition due to a calf injury, and will also miss week three of the competition. Chmerkovskiy’s reps tell ET that he’s currently in recovery, and the procedure he underwent to repair his calf injury went well.

However, a source tells ET that Chmerkovskiy tore his calf muscle “pretty badly,” and that he’s gotten a series of shots — not a surgery — to help recover.

“He told everyone he will be back in a couple of weeks but that isn’t true, it’s a lot worse than everyone initially thought,” the source says. “Doctors are insisting that Maks sit out for at least a month, but knowing Maks he will try and rush it and get back into the competition.”

ETA2: Another update. Thanks to Al for recording… Read more..

Peta Murgatroyd Writes Her First Blog For DWTS Season 24

Peta Murgatroyd has written her first blog for the new season of dancing With The Stars. She writes of how much her life has changed in a year. She also writes of what it’s like to compete against her fiancé Maks. Below she gives us a hint on tonight’s dance with her partner Nick Vaill.

I really have been so surprised by Nick’s ability. He’s doing really well in rehearsals and I think he has the chance of going really far in the competition.

His work ethic is just incredible. He gets through our four-hour rehearsals without ever asking for a break and I never need to remind him to keep practicing and do his homework at home. He’s got a bit of a sporting background, so he’s quick on his feet and is always on beat. The only thing we have to work on is his posture and arm placement. He’s 6’2″, so he’s a big guy. That’s great for a Bachelor but it can make his frame a bit harder to manage and hold.

Tonight we’re dancing a cha cha, and it’s going to be fun and sexy — everything a cha cha should be. We’re in a good place. We’re able to perform it and have all the steps locked down. Now we just need to prove to people that he’s not just The Bachelor. Nick wants to show a different side of himself, so our goal is to bring that out. I really think he has what it takes to wow people.

DWTS Season 24 Heather Morris Writes Of What It Was Like To Meet Maks Chmerkovksiy And More

Heather Morris’ first blog at People, she writes of what it was like to first meet her Dancing With The Stars partner Maks Chmerkovksiy and the things they had in common. She also talks of their rehearsals and how she’s prepared her self mentally. Here is more….

A few days and a few rehearsals later, we were told we’d be given our music and style of dance. It turned out to be the Viennese waltz and I was relieved, to say the least. I didn’t wanna get something super challenging right off the bat and be both mentally and physically exhausted every single day when I got home to my family.

The waltz seemed like a nice, relaxing dance. How hard could it be? HARD.

I’m such a perfectionist (in some aspects of life, that is) and it’s very hard for me to just chill out, arch my back and correct my seemingly poor posture. I was trying my hardest to do just those few simple things, but my back WAS KILLING ME by the end of the week and I still had to find the energy to cook dinner, plan personal press wardrobe AND still do an entire bedtime routine with the kids at night.

I’m also really working on mentally preparing myself to keep my nerves under control because, as many times as I’ve performed live, nothing compares to having 40 million viewers watch me do a dance one time and then vote if they actually liked it or not. Yikes.

All in all, I’m just trying to let things be what they are and enjoy myself, cuz it’s only going to get more challenging from here. Even if I only have one more week left after I perform the waltz, I’d still say I made a few great friends and had an amazing ride! And also, I got to meet Chris Kattan, which for any fan of the Y2K SNL generation is a very big deal! (He’s hysterical, by the way.)

Maks Chmerkovskiy Talks About His Biggest Project, DWTS, And More (New Interview)

Maks Chmerkovskiy talked with the Las Vegas Review about choreographing for “Le Reve — The Dream” for the Wynn in Las Vegas. He also chatted about Dancing With The Stars, his health and fitness, and his more dear project of all….his new son and Peta.

Tell me one thing that your fans would be surprised to learn about you.

I’m not a dick; I’m not an *sshole. I’ve kept my life open with fans, not like many famous people do. I appreciate the audience and know that people love watching what we do. I’m responsible with my craft and product. I have a hard time believing that people are fascinated with my life. I’m just a regular dude with a normal, regular family with regular beliefs.

We did the best with what we have. I have strong stances with certain issues, and that can come across as hard-headed. It’s not my personality. I have a job to do. I’m inside my car outside my house right now, and I can see paparazzi staking out our home. Amazing! We’re not that couple; we find it interesting and funny.

You’ve left an indelible mark in Las Vegas with “Le Reve — The Dream” at Wynn Las Vegas. Any plans for more choreography work in the future? What does the future hold for you?

We have plans for Las Vegas in the near future and new opportunities. We had a successful summer tour with Val. Las Vegas is in the talks with my production company. It is in full swing this year, and we have an amazing cast and pool of people who are show-caliber and high-end quality.

I’d like to parlay this into a Hollywood career. I’m passionate about acting and am waiting for the right project. Dancing is obviously going to be at a forefront to live healthy and be happy and young as long as possible. Dancing is the only way I can prove it.

My biggest project is my son and Peta. I fall in love with her more and more every day. It has been an incredible year, and we’re about to open a Las Vegas dance studio, our 10th, at Tivoli Village. I’ve been a Las Vegas semi-resident for eight years, from working at Wynn to spending New Year’s Eve there. The studio has been a long time coming, and we are extremely excited.

Lots more at the Las Vegas Review. I’m loving this interview.

❤Mornings are my favorite ❤ #thatsmirkthough @maksimc

Peta Murgatroyd And Maks Chmerkovksiy Returning To Dancing With The Stars Season 24

Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovksiy were on Good Morning America today. They had a special announcement for Dancing With The Stars Season 24. Guess what? They are both coming back as Pros. Let us know what you think in comments. So exciting. Thanks to @Idolxfactor for the heads up and help today. Video coming up.

Keep scrolling below for updates….

ETA: Be sure to see US Magazine. Peta talks of returning to Dancing With The Stars. You can also see her and Maks on the cover.

Murgatroyd’s motivation is two-fold. “I want to get my body back,” admits the 5-foot-7 pro. “And I want to defend my title. I won two seasons ago and never got to come back.” (Chmerkovskiy welcomes the challenge, telling Us, “I just want to support her and at the same time, maybe have some healthy competition in the family.”)

And though dancing, running and weight training have helped Murgatroyd shed most of her baby weight (“I think I’m kind of halfway there,” she says), one thing does make her nervous about slipping back into her old skimpy costumes. “I’m not looking forward to having huge boobs on the show,” admits the breastfeeding star. “I’ve never had massive knockers before and I don’t really know how we’ll tie them down! I actually contacted the costume designer and said, ‘We need to have a meeting about this!’”

For more on her and Chmerkovskiy’s return to the ballroom — and how they’re handling life as new parents — pick up the new issue of Us Weekly, on stands now!
