According to Star Pulse, the first instagram below is fueling rumors that Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy are possibly engaged. With the instagram, Val posted, “To the sibling I always wanted, I love you beyond my vocab. Tots and on fleek. Love you baby girl. whats mine is yours. Happy birthday”. I don’t know if Maks and Peta are engaged or not (and Star Pulse is a total tabloid), but, I’m loving all the birthday photos of Peta being posted. You can view some of them below too. She looks so happy and I’m happy for her.
Former Dancing With The Stars troupe member Nicole Volynets got married this past week in Curacao. Below is some instagram coverage courtesy of those who attended. What a beautiful wedding!! #LoveIsInTheAir

Are Peta Murgatroyd and Michael Sam the “goofiest” pair this season on Dancing With The Stars? TV Guide thinks so. To see why, see this new gallery of photos if interested which shows them having fun. They show them in some cool dance moves as well.
I thought this new instagram posted by Maks Chmerkovksiy was cool too. He posted it with the quote: “About last night…@petamurgatroyd” Not sure what he means, but, I like. Peta’s dress is beautiful….
Aww, it’s so good to see Peta Murgatroyd again as we haven’t seen much of her during the off season! If you go to the Daily Mail, you can see her walking in New York City with Maks Chmerkovskiy. I love her coat and shoes!! 😀 I love Maks’ coat too. Beautiful photos!

FIGURE SKATING IN HARLEM CELEBRATES 18 YEARS OF
EMPOWERING NYC GIRLS BY HONORING GLORIA STEINEM AT
10TH ANNUAL SKATING WITH THE STARS GALA
ON MONDAY APRIL 13, 2015
Event to feature performances by Dancing with the Stars’ Mirror Ball Champions
Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
(New York, NY) December, 2014 — Figure Skating in Harlem (FSH) will honor women’s rights champion Gloria Steinem, Olympic Gold Medalist Evan Lysacek, and Feld Entertainment’s Nicole, Alana, and Juliette Feld at its 10th Annual Skating with the Stars Gala. The benefit event will move from the ice to the dance floor this year and be held at 583 Park Avenue on Monday, April 13, 2015, at 6:00pm. The evening will celebrate Figure Skating in Harlem’s one-of-a-kind education, health, and fitness programs for underserved girls while offering guests the rare opportunity to dance and mingle with some of the country’s great Olympic figure skaters including Sasha Cohen, Gracie Gold, Scott Hamilton, Michelle Kwan, and Kristi Yamaguchi. As a special treat, guests will enjoy performances by Dancing with the Stars’ Mirror Ball Champions Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
Andy Cohen, Jessye Norman, Alicia Quarles, and Tamara Tunie (FSH Chair Emerita) will serve as this year’s Honorary Chairs; Celia Chou, Tracie and Scott Hamilton, Ellen Lowey, Tina and Terry Lundgren, Diana Taylor, and Vera Wang are among the Event Chairs.
“This unique evening brings together New Yorkers who believe in the importance of empowering girls to become strong leaders through a combination of sports, arts, and education. Honoring a trailblazer like Gloria Steinem is a perfect fit. She is known for her work with prominent African-American women who together knocked down barriers and opened doors for generations of girls like ours to reach their full potential,” said Sharon Cohen, Founder of Figure Skating in Harlem and a 2014 CNN Hero.
Now in its 18th year, Figure Skating in Harlem remains the first and only organization in the country that combines the power of education with the grace and discipline of figure skating to transform the lives of underserved girls. Through its unique programming, FSH provides NYC girls with innovative skating and education programs that promote academic success, physical health, and emotional well-being. Recent graduates of the program have gone on to Brown University, Howard University, Boston College, and others. The proceeds from this year’s gala will help launch a new STEM program and implement a plan for expansion beyond New York. FSH envisions taking its model program national by its 20th anniversary.
Sponsors of the Skating with the Stars Gala include Amway, Estee Lauder, Macy’s and Bloomingdales, and Consolidated Edison, among others. Tickets to the gala, which include cocktails, dinner, and dancing, start at $1,250. Sponsorship packages start at $5,000. All tickets are available online at www.figureskatinginharlem.org or by calling (646) 679-3765.
I’ll believe it when I see it. I don’t think Bruno is going anywhere and I hope he won’t! Here is more from Celeb Dirty Laundry via The Globe….
According to the December 29th edition of GLOBE Magazine, judge Bruno Tonioli is threatening to quit Dancing With The Stars if he isn’t given Len’s position when he leaves. But, the DWTS executives are uninterested in giving Bruno the raise (whether he deserves it or not). They have their sights set on controversial dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and are planning to give him the head judge’s position.
GLOBE reports, “Top brass have made it clear that they want someone with the same feisty attitude as Len – and Maks fits the bill perfectly. Now, after the snub Bruno is thinking it’s time he called it quits too.” One of GLOBE’s inside sources revealed, “Maks is a real hot head and craves being the center of attention. He’s convinced he is going to be the star of the show – and he doesn’t care who he hurts!”

We’re back with more Flashback Friday!! YAY! I really enjoy looking back at the show, and would love to hear some of the things you remember from each season! Also, I am only posting one video per couple, and I’m trying to get as much variety of dances as I can.
All three of our judges were back for Season 2. Also back was Tom Bergeron. It’s not DWTS without Tom. Harold Wheeler and his Orchestra also returned, along with Pro dancers Louis Van Amstel, Ashly DelGrosso, Edyta Sliwinska and Jonathan Roberts.
Lisa Canning, Tom’s co-host for season 1 was replaced by Samantha Harris. Pro dancers Charlotte Jorgensen and Alec Mazo did not return for season 2. New pro dancers for season 2 were Andrea Hale, Nick Kosovich, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Tony Dovolani, Cheryl Burke, and Anna Trebunskaya. Other changes was increasing the number of couples from 6 to 10, lengthening the show from 60 minutes to 90 minutes, and adding the Results Show.
KENNY MAYNE AND ANDREA HALE were the first couple eliminated, on January 6, 2006. They danced a cha cha, and here it is!
TATUM O’NEIL AND NICK KOSOVICH were the second couple eliminated, on January 13, 2006. They danced a waltz and a rumba. Here’s their waltz. Read more..
