Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were married on Saturday, July 8, 2017.

Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich were married on Saturday, July 8, 2017.

I had promised our sweet Vogue, who has been away from the computer for the whole weekend, that I would fill in for her, and post photos of both weddings. Instead, I ended up being VERY busy and away from the computer for a majority of the weekend because of some family obligations. I had been trying to keep up with things on my phone though…

I’m not going to post the photos, however, because I usually have a lot of trouble getting them to post, and it’s Vogue who puts any photo onto anything I’ve posted!  Instead click here to see Julianne and Brooks announcement from People and click here to see Peta and Maks announcement from People.

There’s been quite a bit said about the two weddings being on the same day, and even mentioned how unfair they were to not move their dates. The thing is, neither couple moves in the same circle, and I really don’t think that there was as much overlap in guest list as people are assuming. Other than the dates, and that 3 of them are employed by DWTS, I don’t think there was too much the same.

Both brides are breathtakingingly gorgeous! Both brides had gowns that fit them and their personalities. Both brides had a wedding that they’ll remember for the rest of their lives! Both grooms are head over heels for their bride, and vice versa.

Peta and Maks chose to get married in a huge wedding at Oheka Castle on Long Island, NY. Julianne and Brooks chose to get married in the middle of a field lakeside near Coeur D’Alene lake, Idaho.

Both are important events, and both deserve to be celebrated. I’m sure we’ll find photos to add at a later time, since one of the wedding parties chose to be a LOT more secretive about the entire wedding than the other.

DWTS Peta Murgatroyd And Maks Chmerkovksiy Wedding Update!

Dancing With The Stars Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovksiy’s wedding is coming up fast now. They talk all about it with E Online in a video interview below. Also, Peta’s trainer takes us through her wedding workout at this link. Here’s a little take….

So what does it take to look as fab as this bride-to-be only five months after giving birth? Well, E! News caught up with Peta’s trainer Tim Hartwig, a strength and conditioning coach who works primarily with athletes in Los Angeles. Hartwig says he’s prepping Peta with the same techniques clients like Rashad Jennings use before football season starts, and it’s nothing short of intense.

Seven weeks before becoming a Mrs., Peta began working out three days a week with Hartwig and two days a week on her own. Tim says the Australian stunner’s goal is to “maximize fat loss” and achieve a “nice, lean look” through a mix of healthy nutrition and fitness. That involves teaching Murgatroyd “how to balance her diet” with increased water and protein intake as well as introducing healthy carbs like brown rice, quinoa and sweet potatoes into her meals.

DWTS Peta Murgatroyd, Maks Chmerkovksiy, Julianne Hough, Brooks Laich Wedding Dates And Details

We finally have some wedding dates for Peta Murgatroyd & Maks Chmerkovksiy’ and Julianne Hough & Brooks Laich. And guess what? They are on the same day. From Life & Style Magazine…

Peta exclusively tells Life & Style that their wedding celebration will be July 7, 8 and 9. “It’s a big three days. I’m super excited about it,” says Peta, noting the wedding itself is July 8, which is the same day DWTS judge Julianne chose to get hitched.

Julianne set her date first, but Peta, 30, and Maks, 37, didn’t know about it. “It just so happened that Peta and Maks chose the same date,” the source continues.

The conflict is forcing co-stars and the DWTS crew to choose between weddings. “You have to be either Team Hough or Team Peta and Maks,” the source notes. “There’s a lot of behind-the-scenes drama.”

Though Julianne hasn’t publicly revealed where she’ll swap vows, she’s blogged that “a destination wedding would make sense,” pondering a vineyard, ranch or tropical island, making it impossible for guests to attend both.

Normani Kordei Twists Ankle While In Rehearsals For Dancing With The Stars Finale

James Hinchcliffe Weighs In On The Sharna Burgess And Bonner Bolton Romance Rumors, DWTS Week 4 Teaser

The rider can’t believe he’s gone from “being paralyzed in that bed laying face up… and now dancing on this floor.”

Bolton, who won the bull riding world championship when he was 20, told Fox News, “I was on the rise again when I got hurt.”

He wouldn’t accept that he’d be paralyzed forever: “I kept pushing myself to know and believe that I would walk again, not only would I walk again, I told [doctors] they would see me walk that week before I got out of the hospital — and they had me climbing three flights of stairs.”

The determined bull rider admitted of recuperation, “It was hard to hold a fork the right way for a few months….I couldn’t bathe myself. I had to have help.”
