ABC Commericial For Dancing With The Stars Week 8 “The Top Five”

And I guess all that’s left is the “cryin'”!! 😯

The drama I can take….but, please, just let the show be full of good dancing and less controversy this week! Do you agree?

Also, if you haven’t seen the new “Final Five Gallery” at the official site for Dancing With The Stars, you can view it here. They’ve picked some really cool photos for it.

Mark Ballas Writes About The Top 5 Couples On Dancing With The Stars Season 13

Mark Ballas' photo What do us 4 have in common??
Mark Ballas on WhoSay

Mark Ballas has written a new blog for what he thinks of the top five couples left on Dancing With The Stars for USA Today. He goes through their strong points for why they have made it this far which you can read about below. Be sure to read the full blog at the link for he also has some special words for David Arquette. He’s looking forward to the finals and dancing with Kristin Cavallari again.

It this point it is clear that Ricki (Lake) and Derek (Hough) make a great couple. Ricki has really proven herself over the course of the season. Not only is Ricki a good dancer but she also plays the characters well each week and that’s what it takes to seal the deal. She even is dancing through a rib injury right now but still remains at the top of the leaderboard. I expect she’ll stay there throughout the rest of the show and will make it into the finals.

J.R. (Martinez), according to Len, had a “substandard” week. Yes, he made a few mistakes but it only makes the man human. If you have learned anything about J.R. from the show, you know that he is a fighter and will come back this week with a strong and on-point routine. Some of J.R.’s strengths are his speed and ability to be light on his feet. These two characteristics are extremely important when it comes to ballroom dancing.

Hope (Solo) is back! She performed one of her best dances last week and I can’t wait to see what she has in store. Many of the athletes on the show have done a tremendous job of transforming into dancers. Some of the great qualities about Hope are that she has tremendous speed and endurance. This allows her to perform well on show days and can help her stay focused during the long rehearsal hours. At this point, everyone is exhausted which translates into mental challenges. Professional athletes know how to push themselves and Hope is no different. This will continue to help her throughout the remainder of the show.

Nancy (Grace) keeps on improving week after week and as she said Tuesday night, “it’s not over until it’s over.” I think she has been overlooked this season but she is right, until she’s eliminated, she also has a good shot at winning the mirror ball trophy. Len loves when routines stay traditional and her partner Tristan (MacManus) has done a really good job of choreographing the routines that way. She has become very precise in her dance routines and that is a big reason in how she has made it this far.

Rob’s (Kardashian) biggest strength is that he is a quick learner. This is crucial during the long season of Dancing with the Stars. If a celebrity can catch on fast, it allows for more time in rehearsal for fine-tuning the routine. Rob has been very consistent all season and I believe that this consistency will carry him into the finals. He has a lot to bring to the dance floor and his dedication will show in the next couple of weeks.

Picture above is from Mark’s facebook of he, Derek, Cheryl, and Kym after one of the shows this past week.

DWTS Nancy Grace And Tristan MacManus Prepare For Instant Jive And Tango

How did I miss this interview this morning? This week is starting to catch up with me. I’m relieved it’s over and it’s the weekend. 🙂 Anyway, don’t miss Nancy and Tristan on Good Morning America talking about the ‘scary’ instant Jive and the Tango. Nancy says she’s lost 23 pounds since she started dancing. It’s all because Tristan ‘won’t give her a break’. LOL More below. You’ll also be able to see her and Tristan talking about dancing tonight on her show with Lacey Schwimmer, Sasha Farber, Chaz Bono, Holly Madison, Melissa Joan Hart, and Monique Coleman. Be sure to tune in on the HNL channel at various times tonight. Check your local TV scheduling for times.

Les Twins From Cirque du Soleil Michael Jackson Immortal Tour To Perform On Dancing With The Stars

LesTwins Online is reporting they will be performing next week on Dancing With The Stars. Below is a quote from their site. Tom Bergeron also mentioned in the results show they will be performing next week.

On behalf of their Cirque du Soleil Michael Jackson Immortal Tour, Dancing With The Stars is hosting the dancers from the tour! Les Twins will be featured in this broadcast, and the good news is – international fans can watch it online! This will be Les Twins second appearance on national U.S. television in the last six months (the first was with Beyoncé at the Billboard Music Awards). Check your local listings for time – the network is ABC – and set your DVRs! So happy for this great opportunity for our twins!

This is going to be cool. Being I am huge Michael Jackson fan, I can’t wait!! Below is a little teaser for what’s to come….

DWTS Las Vegas Odds And New Poll For Next Elimination Week 8 (VOTE)

Once again, Nancy Grace continues to defy the odds makers in Las Vegas. Rob Kardashian also defied the odds this past Monday night, but, can these two do it again? The two are at the bottom of the pack for this coming Monday night and by a fairly good margin as well. Ricki and J.R. stay steady in the same top positions with Hope in third. More below from SportsBoDog.

J.R. Martinez 1.20

Ricki Lake 3.75

Hope Solo 11.00

Robert Kardashian 31.00

Nancy Grace 51.00

So, what are your predictions for who will leave next week? Let’s take a Poll. I don’t want to pick Nancy, but, even with the controversy surrounding Maks and Hope, I think her time may seriously be up this time?

Did David and Kym know they were leaving after their dance Monday night? George Pennacchio asks them about it straight up in this interview from On The Red Carpet! They also talk of David’s heart and soul and how he brought that to Dancing With The Stars.

DWTS 13, Week 7 Interviews After The Elimination, Information On Week 8 Dances Revealed

George Pennacchio was there to greet and interview all the couples after the elimination last night. He asks them their thoughts on it as well as their next two dances next week. The couples have the instant Jive (that they won’t get a song for until 30 minutes before they dance) and another dance which you can read more on below.

First up, Derek!! He won’t speak much of Ricki and his second dance except to say it’s a “Slow Waltz” and he wants to make it emotional and fun. Derek thinks Ricki is looking beautiful in her presentations…especially in her top frame which keeps improving every week. He’s having fun designing costumes for her and doing new things for her new figure with it. Ricki isn’t here for this interview. Derek sent her straight home to rest her ribs so they could practice hard today.

Rob feels his dedication and focus really need to come now if they want to make it to the finals. Cheryl says they have to step it up and put even more time into practices. Rob is ready! Their second dance is the Quick Step which Rob says will be fun and “cool”. He talked of how he will miss David. He made him laugh every week.

J.R. and Karina are going to miss David’s energy like they missed in Carson. They have the Slow Waltz next week as their second dance. Karina is hoping to show two sides of J.R. again…the romantic side and the fun side. J.R. says Dancing With The Stars has been life changing for him and it’s been a tremendous honor to do the show.

Nancy believes the competition right now is between themselves since they are all such good friends. Tristan plans to remained focused on what they’ve been doing all along and “do their best” not necessarily “being the best”. Their second dance next week is the Tango. They have the same two dances next week as this week. They hope to use this week’s dances as inspiration to do better.

Maks seems more himself in this interview versus last night’s interview. He admits to not being in a good place yesterday. Some of his past partners texted him about it. He wants to make it clear how much he is enjoying this ride with Hope.

In this interview by Access Hollywood, Maks admits to being too intense and how he lost the focus of why they are doing the show. He hopes the fans don’t feel betrayed by him and think he isn’t the person we thought he was (is he reading our posts?). He is not the person we saw yesterday. Hope goes on to say she’s appreciated how Maks has coached her, but, they hope to have more fun in the coming weeks. They have the Quick Step as their second dance.

Derek was interviewed by Access Hollywood as well. He talks of his triple duty this past week. He speaks of he and Ricki’s two dances next week. Nancy jumps into the interview and unzips Derek’s shirt. LOL

Ok, that is all for now!! Here’s to next week’s dances!!
