A doll as always! Yesterday, while in her homeland of Australia, Dancing With The Stars Kym Johnson posed next to an advertisement for a new People for the Ethical Treatment of Animal (PETA) campaign in Sydney. The campaign is part of PETA’s efforts to urge shoppers to busy cosmetics and household products only from companies that do not test products on animals. Not only has Pamela Anderson been readying for Dancing With The Stars, she, along with Paul McCartney, has been trying to recently save an elephant from India named Sunder. Sunder has suffered multiple injuries after being mistreated by his handler and kept chained in the dark for seven years at the Jyotiba Temple in Maharashtra. Below is a quote from the Times India from Pamela….
“I am in tears over the plight of the little elephant, Sunder, who you so kindly gave to Jyotiba Temple with the best of intentions. I am sure you are also crushed by what has been done to this little soul. He is the age of one of my sons, and as sensitive as anyone’s child. Like other victims of abuse, he will be scarred for life mentally, as he already is physically”, writes Anderson, the mother of two. “I’m sure you feel as I do that elephants are precious creatures of God, and it is a crime against Heaven that he could have been allowed to be treated like this. Sunder must be rescued without delay. May everyone, including me, count on you, please, to save this youngster?”
Good news! Yesterday (Thursday), the Indian Express reported that Sunder will be moved from the temple to a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centrer near Bangalore after an intervention by the country’s Forest Minister Dr. Patangrao Shripatrao Kadam.”
Huge props to Pamela and everyone who helped to save Sunder and not giving up! She’s already a winning All Star in my opinion. You can see and read more on Sunder here.

Elisabetta Canalis stopped by the Grove in Hollywood this past week to talk with Mario Lopez. She said the producers of Dancing With The Stars contacted her a year ago to do the show. At the time Elisabetta wasn’t available like she is now. Since that time, she’s been watching past shows and Dancing With The Stars in Italy too in preparation. They talk of the hard work that goes into doing the show and how she has blisters already. She addresses romance rumors with Val and her feelings on George Clooney as well.
Along with her gig on Dancing With The Stars, Elisabetta is also the new front woman for PETA’s new anti-fur campaign. From Access Hollywood, she said….
“I decided to go nude because I think that nudity always creates a big reaction,” Elisabetta, 32, explained in a video posted on the animal rights activist website. “That is what is required to keep people’s attention on such a brutal practice… These poor animals are electrocuted, skinned alive, drowned, and bludgeoned just for the sake of fashion.”
The brunette bombshell also urged fashion fans to steer clear of even of tiniest amount of fur.
“Don’t buy fur,” she continued. “Even a little trim – your gloves or your bag or your jackets… You must remember that animals don’t have a voice. You must be their voice. Never be afraid to speak up.”

Dancing with the Stars is always doing some interesting videos on the results show. Week 8 of Dancing with the Stars was probably the best that they’ve ever done. Check out the following video of “People for the Ethical Treatment of Dancers.” (A nice take off of Peta with naked pro dancers)
