Jodie Sweetin has been rumored to dance on Dancing With The Stars for several seasons in the past (season 12, season 13). Is season 21 finally her time? Check out this recent follow to Val Chmerkovskiy (screencap below). I’ve actually been watching her for a couple of weeks as recently she mentioned she had exciting news coming in a week which she never announced (lol). She also just recently joined instagram wanting followers. She also attended the Dancing With The Stars finals last season. Hmmm?? OR could it be she followed Val because he and Maks are doing an episode of “Fuller House? One of our bloggers, Lois, wrote this morning that a friend of hers was at the tapings yesterday in which the two of them were doing a club scene. Not sure, but, let’s keep a watch out just in case. NBA Basterball player Anthony Davis said he “kinda” turned down Dancing With The Stars on the Late Late Show last night (he told TMZ the same a while back). He would be fun though. Not sure how good this source is, but, Contact Music via the New York Post is reporting Christine Ouzounian (Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s’s Nanny) is interested in doing her own reality show or even to dance on Dancing With The Stars. I think Miss Heidi and Court were just talking on a possibility like this with DWTSGossip the other day. Interesting.
The 28-year-old childminder – who’s been romantically linked to the Oscar-winning star following the breakdown of his marriage to actress Jennifer Garner – is keen to establish herself as a reality TV personality and make the most of her new-found fame.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: ”The word in LA is that Christine is looking for an agent and wants a TV deal, on something like ‘The Bachelorette’ or ‘Dancing With the Stars’.
”She knows she most likely can’t go back to nannying – who in LA would hire her now to take care of their kids? So she’s going to use the spotlight to build a showbiz career.”

Sometimes “coincidences” can’t be ignored. Know what we mean? Bear with us as we explain…
Apparently, a PR person for Dancing With The Stars is following Lindsay Lohan. This might mean nothing, but, as many Dancing With The Stars die hard fans know, Lindsay Lohan has been rumored to dance in several seasons and even turned down a very lucrative offer one time according to TMZ. Even more interesting is that this PR person also recently followed Nick Jonas who has performed on Dancing With The Stars in the past, but, is it possible he could be dancing too?
This PR person is also following Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe who has been rumored to dance this season….
Are you still following? I hope so because guess what? Nick Jonas has very recently followed SHAY MITCHELL who is another celebrity rumor this season….

Heidi: The only one I see as potentially unlikely (how’s that for some odd grammar?) is Nick Jonas. Isn’t he the Jonas that is actually making some headway in a solo career?? Then again…we’ve heard casting make comments indicating that they can’t believe they got certain people. Also have to keep in mind that it seems unlikely that Nick and Shay would know the other is going to be on DWTS. It’s a bit too far out for that. Anyway, the reason I am pointing these things out is so that no one gets too carried away…but I told Vogue to write up a post because there are a few too many coincidences here. Perhaps Nick joined the show and read rumors about Shay…or there is just some young Hollywood connection going on there. It’s all very curious, for sure.
Courtney: Verrrry interesting indeed – and if I recall, it was about 5 years ago that a certain other casting/PR person at ABC followed the entire cast of season 11, about 2 weeks PRIOR to the casting announcement. So it may not be totally off-base. Shay seems like low-hanging fruit – in other words, really wants to do the show, hooked in with both Brandt and Janel, and basically a “gimme” for DWTS casting. Perhaps La Lohan has finally either a) gotten to a peaceful place in her life, b) is broke and needs the money, or c) both – it’s not at all unusual for a cast member to be rumored for YEARS before they actually turn up on the show. As for Nick – kinda on the fence about this one, but his brother did do Celebrity Apprentice last season, so perhaps that took away any potential stigma…he also recently broke up with his girlfriend of two years, so maybe he has a bit of extra time on his hands? 🙂 But if I recall, he is on a show on another network…maybe he’s another Amber Riley-type situation? I’m kinda excited if they really did manage to cast him – dude has…matured well. And makes me feel like a bit of a dirty ol’ lady 😉

How about a couple of interviews with Witney Carson? First, she talked with Fashion and Style about Dancing With The Stars. She mentions how she gets insomnia when the show is airing and why. She also talks of the healthy competition between pros.
“During the season I have insomnia a lot,” she said, explaining further: “I am constantly thinking about the dance. I am completely focused on the celebrity and the dances we need to complete. We have to come up with all the choreography all the costumes, the camera angles the lighting … anything that will make a difference in our routine is up to us.”
“You have a celebrity on live television who has never done this before and they are really stressed out. It’s pretty crazy but we try to tell them to enjoy it,” the “DWTS” season 19 Mirrorball winner continued.
Getting into “lighter” territory, we asked Carson if there is any competition between the dancers while the series is running. Carson revealed that while there is “healthy competition” between her and her co-stars, that competition inspires them to push harder as teachers.
“We are so supportive of each other. We are not competitive at all, we help each other out. It’s kind of fun at the end of the season when it gets competitive a bit, but it’s all respectful and in fun. It’s healthy competition at the end of the day,” she exclaimed.

But, here is something interesting she mentioned too about the new season of Dancing With The Stars. Note how she is “pretty sure” a new contestant for Dancing With The Stars Season 21 will be a familiar face from The Bachelor franchise (Kaitlyn Bristowe? A rumor we posted about a couple of weeks ago), as well as another name making headlines across the world.
Speaking of “The Bachelor” franchise, Carson is pretty sure another familiar face from the reality dating show will be a celebrity contestant next season, as well as another name who has been making headlines across the world.
“They don’t actually call us until the last minute, so I don’t even know if I’m going to be a professional yet, but I’m crossing my fingers!” she told HuffPost. “As for celebrity rumors, I haven’t heard much, but they usually put on the Bachelor or Bachelorette, so Kaitlyn [Bristowe], I feel like, will probably be on, which would be fun. She has a great personality. And also I heard Caitlyn Jenner might be on, but then again it’s just rumors!”
As for Emmys night on Sept. 20, Carson couldn’t be more excited.
“I’m looking for dresses and what to do with my hair and makeup,” she gushed. “I’m super, super excited. I’ve never been, so it’s going to be a special experience. I really want Alfonso to come, and I’m going to tag along with him.”

It’s funny how things lead to another sometimes. This past Saturday night at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, Dancing With The Stars Sharna Burgess helped to kick off the 2015 Special Olympics World Games. Speaking of Terrell Owens….he said he’d love to do Dancing With The Stars this past February. From Dish Nation….
It’s that time of year again — a new cast was announced today for Season 20 of Dancing With The Stars, and although he won’t be competing this year, former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens exclusively told Dish Nation he’d love to be on the show.
“It’s a possibility. I don’t have two left feet,” he hinted while chatting on the red carpet at the Gold Meets Golden event in Hollywood recently.
“I think I could do okay for that. I have a few dance moves.”
Owens, 41, wouldn’t be the first footballer to compete on the show, and he says he knows a lot of the dancing pros.
Funny too as Court mentioned Terrell in this casting rumor post in Season 13 and said she wouldn’t be surprised if his name popped up to dance. And it’s true Terrell knows a lof of the pros as Heidi posted a picture with Terrell, Derek Hough, and Maria Menounos at a Beach Party in this previous post.

Well, so much for this rumor. According to Entertainment Tonight (and as of right now), Caitlyn Jenner will not be competing on Dancing With The Stars.
“There is not nor have there ever been any negotiations on this matter,” Jenner’s publicist told ET. “They inquired if she was interested in participating in the show and I said no thank you. That is the extent of the communication.”

As most of you know who follow the site, we’ve had rumors of Bruce Jenner dancing on Dancing With The Stars for several seasons. Now that she has made the transformation to a woman, will this be the season she dances? If so, who would she dance with? Although not reliable, Hollywood Life reported Mark Ballas and Derek Hough would dance with her. They also report that producers told Caitlyn that she would be “given one of best dancers they have.” Tony Dovolani talked on the possibility of Caitlyn dancing with Wendy Williams this week (you can watch this interview here if you haven’t yet). To the possibility, Tony called Caitlyn “brave” and “inspiring” and then said, “Absolutely! Why not? We’re ground-breaking people.” Derek Hough also said he’d dance with her in this new interview yesterday with Entertainment Tonight (watch below). Derek is up for any challenge and taking chances. He loves stepping out of the box and inspirational stories for what Dancing With The Stars has been about. More below. So yeah, all eyes on Caitlyn for Dancing With The Stars Season 21.
