The interview we’ve all been waiting for with Val Chmerkovskiy is up now at Dance Junkies TV. Their beautiful and talented hosts, Stuart Brazell and Elena Grinenko, ask Val as many questions as they can for what we all submitted last week. Because they had such an overwhelming response of questions, they posted more of the interview with Val at their facebook page which you can read HERE!! THANK YOU Stuart, Elena, and Val!!! You are the best!!!! xxxx
The lovely Stuart Brazell of Dance Junkies TV breaks down Latin Week on Dancing With The Stars with Rib Hills and Val Chmerkovskiy. The bits on Maks and Derek are especially interesting and a hoot!! Val is a charmer as always!
UPDATE: And here is Part 2 with Val, Rib, and Stuart breaking down Latin night last week….
Stay tuned! They loved all of the questions we submitted for Val. There is a more personal interview coming at the end of the week!
Hey Guys! On tap next for a new, fun interview with Dance Junkies TV is …drum rolls please….the one and only Val Chmerkovskiy!
Like with Anna Trebunskaya the last time, Stuart and Elena hope to ask Val as many questions as possible from our Pure Dancing With The Stars readers. You can submit your questions in the comments section. I’ll put my questions in the comments like the last time too. Have fun and thanks for your participations!! Thanks to Stuart and Elena as well!!! Val is one of my fave male pro dancers! *so excited*
In this week’s Dancing With The Stars pre-party, Dance Junkies TV Host Stuart Brazell and award winning ballroom pro Elena Grinenko review the judges comments and see if they are making the right calls this season. Some of this might shock you. As Heidi and Court have told us many times, the couples dance might look good and perfect to the regular viewer, but, they aren’t always following the rules of competition ballroom dancing. IE: Mark and Katherine’s dance last week. Note how Elena gets as frustrated with the “hot” references for William as much as we do.
Fascinating stuff!!! See if you don’t agree?
And they are fun ….all 131 of them!! Below are just a few. See the complete album at Dancing With The Stars Make-up’s facebook page here. It’s an amazing process what they go through to get ready for the show and theme nights, isn’t it?
Last week, many of our readers at Pure Dancing With The Stars submitted questions to Dance Junkies TV for a new interview with Anna Trebunskaya. Along with their twitter followers as well, they had an overwhelming response as you will soon see. Without further ado, below are Stuart Brazell and Elena Grinenko with Anna. Enjoy and see is she answered your question(s): Carlos? Teresa? Sally? Steve? Kristin? Martin? Metevaine?
If you missed Part 1 of this interview where Anna made predictions for who will win this season, you can view it here.
Thanks loads Elena, Stuart, and Anna!!! We love you and you rock! THANKS! Too fun! xx
George Pennacchio of On The Red Carpet interviewed some of the couples last night after the elimination. He gets their thoughts on Sherri and Val. He also asks them on their comfort zones and next week’s “latin” dance. Let’s see what he found out….
First, Peta and Donald tell George it’s just “crazy” and “awful” for how Sherri was eliminated. Peta is sad and tears it up. It could be anyone to leave including them. It’s Latin week next week and they have the Argentine Tango. They are going to work hard. Donald is ready for the challenge in getting out of his comfort zone as always.
Maks explains what happened Monday night when Melissa got hurt. At this time, he doesn’t know how he is going to approach their upcoming dance and future. He questions everything and doesn’t want to hurt her. He also talks of Val and Sherri’s elimination and feels sorry for them. He says Val feels like it’s his fault and feels bad for them.
Roshon says he had no idea he’d be at this level on Dancing With The Stars. He’s learning so much and hopes to keep doing so. They talk of how hard it was to see Sherri go. Next week’s dance for these two will be the Salsa. Chelsie wants to refine his salsa technique. It will be sexy. They are going for 10’s next week as they never want to be in the bottom two again.
Katherine is glad she was able to get out of her comfort zone this week and it was one of the best experiences ever. The Argentine Tango is their next dance. Katherine is the most excited about learning this dance. Mark says he hopes to tell a very passionate story and keep it straight edge. They have nothing but kind words for Val and Sherri.
These are always fun and this time is no different! Derek’s hair cracks me up!
How is your Tuesday going so far? I hope super. Do you need some more interviews after last night’s dance? If so, here we are again with a recap and a review from Good Morning America with Cameron Mathison and Carson Kressley. Carson picks Gladys or Jaleel to go home which I totally agree with and hopefully, it’s the latter.
Louis Van Amstel also reviewed the night in a new blog for Good Morning America. He is the most worried for Gladys tonight. I think he is wrong about Donald and Peta. They deserved more than a 7 and two 8’s. No way did Gavin deserve three 8’s, but hey. See if you agree or disagree with him?
We’ve got lots of new interviews to weed through this morning after this week’s dance. Let’s get right to it with George Pennacchio of On The Red Carpet. George asks the dance couples on their injuries and the new “Dance Off” which starts next week where they have to learn two dances. Note how their is a technical issue with the interview with Kym and Jaleel. Hopefully, they will fix that later. Also, there isn’t an interview with Maks and Melissa since they had to rush her to the hospital after their dance which you can read about in a previous posting here.
First up, Donald and Peta!! George comments that Donald is a “new kind of sex symbol”. They are excited about their performance and to be at the top of the leaderboard. They talk of the ‘dance off’ and how it will come down to “technique” versus the ‘performance’ factor for who would make it in the bottom two. Aren’t their costumes awesome? I love that color!
George asks Maria about her injuries. Derek brings up Melissa and how injuries happen. Maria has a whole new respect for dancers for what they go through physically. They are so excited about their scores. They agree with the “dance off” hoping it will support the better dancers and good dancers don’t get voted off.
Roshon is “burning up” about being called the best male dancer. He’s nervous about the dance off, but, hopes he never is in the bottom two. So far, so good he hasn’t suffered from any injuries. He didn’t know much about Melissa’s injury, but, says she’s awesome and a hard worker.
Cheryl talks of how William stepped on her foot and her shoe wasn’t on right for the rest of the dance just like what happened to Kirstie Alley. William says they are working hard and he wants to continue to be positive. Cheryl isn’t wild about the ‘dance off’ since now they have to learn two dances for next week. William looks at her like she’s nuts. lol
