Well, I’ve been a fan of Derek’s for a very long time and I’ve never seen him as happy as he looks these days. Seriously, NYC is agreeing with him in a big way. For those of you who are more casual fans and haven’t been following along, here’s a fun treat that the Rockettes posted yesterday. Jared Grimes is the other dancer here and he’s fantastic – he’s from the Broadway show “After Midnight”.
I'm a nerd and proud of it. Two degrees in geology also means I love BEER. :-) I'm also a Derek lover - proud of that too. So don't scream at those of us on this site and call us a bunch of "biased Derek-lovers" - it's just ME. :-) It may sound like I hate DWTS at times, but really, I'm just a snarky nitpicker from way back. And I'm cynical and jaded too. But I do love DWTS. :-)
Nice video – a Minute with Derek Hough. Basically telling all about the New York Spring Spectacular. He’s honestly more excited about this project than I’ve seen him about anything in a while. Very happy for him.

Dancing With The Stars Derek Hough’s interest in photography continues to amaze. Below is a fun shot from the Brooklyn Bridge area in New York City. Derek posted this photo at his instagram with the caption that he was “getting use to his new home” and that he was “feeling very inspired and incredibly focused” in the city. I can’t wait to see what he means, can you? As you know, Derek is in New York City to do the “New York Spring Spectacular“. If you head to Pure Derek Hough, you can view a new commercial made for the show with he and The Rockettes. Derek also attended the American Ballet Theater’s 75th Anniversary Celebration and a Hope & Grace Benefit this past week. If you haven’t purchased your tickets to the New York Spring Spectacular, be sure you do so here. Pure Derek Hough will be accepting blogs, videos, and photos. So, be sure to write us at Heidi@purederekhough.com or Voguerista09@gmail.com and let us know if you’d like to share your experience.
