Afterbuzz TV interviewed Witney Carson last night at Star Magazine’s Hollywood Rocks Event. She’s having a much harder time teaching Chris Soules how to dance than she did Alfonso Ribeiro last season, but, they are having fun and they are still in the competition. She talks a little on their team dance for next week too. Lindsay Arnold is a part of this interview as well. Also, can you make out what the reporter and Witney said on a “leak”? I can’t understand the reporter?
Just a small and quick update: We’re not sure if there will be an elimination or not on Dancing With The Stars this next Monday? In rehearsals on DWTS All Access, Sharna Burgess reported there wouldn’t be an elimination. Noah Galloway also reported the same in a new interview with Men’s Health Magazine. Then last night at twitter, George Pennacchio tweeted there would be an elimination (via an ABC Press Release). I guess we’ll just have to wait and see?
ETA: Per our source, there IS an elimination Monday, but it’s just a regular, single elimination – and the double elim that was planned for later in the season has been cancelled. In other words – business as usual on Monday.
ETA2: According to Tom Bergeron, there will be a double elimination next week.

Joann Tresco of Hummelstown, PA, is a retired Pennsylvania Army National Guard Master Sergeant. He military career spanned 34 years.
Tresco had a love and passion for dance that translated into the next phase of her life. She traded her Army boots for dancing shoes. It is so exciting for her to become the Operations Manager for the dance studio she grew up with.
She is combining the best of both her worlds. Her military management skills have served her well in managing the dance studio and teaching dance. She takes a hands-on approach with the clients who have tripped the light fantastic on the studio ballroom floor.
The link will take you to a narrative and video of her inspiring story. Chuck Rhodes, the Out and About Reporter, WHTM, ABC27, Harrisburg, PA, takes you inside her new life. There is a link to look around the studio she is heavily involved with, PaDanceSport, Hummelstown, PA.
Tresco feels it is important for returning veterans to have the courage to stoke their own passions. She says anyone can make it work.
Tresco is a military success story and a success at this thing called life.

The affliction of cerebral palsy does not deter 14 year old Ellie Ritzman from her love of dance. In fact, she thrives on dancing at Dixie’s Dance Studio, Millerstown, PA. Being part of a dance team brings out Ellie’s personality. Making this more special for Ellie is she is dancing with her sister, Leah, and her friends.
Ellie’s mother, Dianne, felt this was something that could not happen. But, she helped Ellie follow her dreams. Read more..
First off, an apology: these are late, but I do (sort of) have good reason: I needed time to cool off after last night’s show (more on that later) and I actually got caught up talking to Deep Throat and just got too tired to start these last night (as I usually do). Then after my truncated sleep schedule last night (no rest for the spoilers!), I just dragged all kinds of @$$ today and didn’t get around to finishing these until just now. So I apologize – hope this is all still relevant and you guys haven’t completely moved onto Spring Break week
Overall, I enjoyed Disney night – this one felt a lot more well-prepared and planned out than the last, which felt a bit hastily thrown together. Sorry to see Suzanne go – I do feel like she was really trying and wanted to be there, and maybe just got caught having a weak moment in rehearsal. But if she didn’t go home this week, she certainly would either next week or during the double elim – just kinda stinks that she went out on a bit of a low note, forgetting almost half her routine. And it started out so promising, too! Hopefully she can do it again on the finale results show Read more..
Below is the new Afterbuzz TV Show for Dancing With The Stars Week 5. I thought it was an excellent show up until Suri and Anna started being critical of Nastia and Derek again. Let us know what you think, as always, in comments.

Below is what we know so far for the new dances and Team Dances for Dancing With The Stars Season 20 Week 6 and note that it’s “Spring Break” Week.
ETA: We have our first song spoiler! Though I can’t say it’s exactly SPRING breaky… -Court-
ETA2: Figured I’d go ahead and confirm this one, since they were already strongly hinting at it in the live stream…oh, and apparently the teams have names now (pix below). Sure hope Rumer’s team didn’t give themselves a headache coming up with such an original team name
ETA3: Court, you were right. Carrie Ann is calling next week’s theme “Spring Break Extravaganza” according to her new blog.
ETA4: We don’t know what belongs to who, but we know the remaining dances for next week are (2) jives, a samba, a salsa, and a Viennese waltz. Discuss.
ETA5: Well we managed to fill in the blanks based on what Just Jared posted. I think the music folks at DWTS and I have very different ideas of what a “spring break” song is, though – some of these seem more like summer break songs, and some seem…dumb.
ETA6: Per Artem in the live rehearsal stream, Patti has apparently switched to quickstep. Hmmmm…perhaps the jive was too hard for her to barely move to?
ETA7: Not to be outdone, Riker has decided to change songs. See below. :::rolls eyes::: When can we go back to the good old days where you danced to what they gave you. That certainly told us who our choreographers were. Although, before that – years ago – the pros chose ALL the music. The pendulum swings… ~Heidi

Nancy Lee Grahn tweeted about the Dancing With The Stars Anniversary Special last night and news about her being there with Kelly Monaco. She also posted a date for April 21st. Note: this date isn’t “official” yet. Just something to keep in mind. Thanks to Lois for the heads up on this tweet.
ETA: Per our source, the Anniversary Special is, indeed, airing on this coming Tuesday, April 21st…but it may not be TOTALLY live. Source thinks some couples may have pre-taped their segments.
ETA2: I apologize – message got lost in translation. Show is getting TAPED this coming Tuesday, April 21, but it won’t actually AIR until May 7. Apparently there was even confusion from those behind the scenes on what was going to be happening this week – Deep Throat was under the impression that they would be doing two live shows this coming week, until Rob clarified. #miscommunicationevenoccursbehindthescenes
ETA3: Vogue here. Is it possible Maria Menounos, Amy Purdy, and Amy Riley (all Derek Hough partners) are filming or doing something for the 10th Anniversary show. They were seen the rehearsal parking lot this weekend…
ETA4: Amy might have been at the studios to film something with Noah Galloway too?
A lot of work was put into Dancing With The Stars last night. I was gasping right from the beginning, were you? Beautiful and a magical wonder…
