DWTS, Season 11, Week 6 – Reaction After Shocking Elimination

Have I ever said how much I dislike “shocking” eliminations? I know there is some disagreement out there. But, I think this elimination is downright undeserving and sad! What a beautiful dancer Audrina was! These two couldn’t have been paired better in my opinion. Anyway, they should go out proud. They left at the top, they had fun, and what’s more, they danced with “heart”. And in case they are reading this….I just want to say Thank you to them for especially giving us and our soldiers this.

So, here are a couple of videos of them being interviewed after the show expressing their disbelief.

SPOILERS!!! DWTS 11, Week 6 – The Results

Another week another elimination. This is me wasting space so that the automatic tweet doesn’t give away the results. 🙂 I think that’s enough.

So, it was a shocking elimination this week. Audrina and Tony leave the competition before MUCH lesser dancers. Sorry – I know that Bristol and Kyle have their fans, and that Audrina had some trouble connecting to the dance, but this is a ridiculous elimination.

I said last week that I thought Audrina was in trouble, and I hinted at it again this week, but I really thought her score was high enough over Kurt’s that she’d be safe. But apparently not. Let’s review. In order for Audrina to be sent packing, the following things happened:

What would cause Audrina to be the “shocking” elimination THIS week?

-Jennifer gets 14,500 more votes per 1 million votes cast, and;
-Rick AND Kyle EACH get 9,700 more votes per 1 million votes cast, and;
-Kurt gets 48,400 more votes per 1 million votes cast, and;
-Bristol gets 19,400 more votes per 1 million votes cast.

The shocking part is that Kurt actually managed it. The other margins are not shockingly huge. It also might not be that the others aren’t getting tons of votes, but that people just forgot about the beautiful girl. It happens all the time – the model types go home early. I thought Audrina was sweet, beautiful and very gracious. Very sad to see her go.

People – if you want your favorite to stay in the competition, VOTE. If you think that Bristol shouldn’t be there, VOTE FOR SOMEONE ELSE. That’s how this show works, afterall.

Geez. I’m so not in the mood for Cheesecake.

DWTS Season 11, Week 6 – Dancing by the Numbers

Welcome to my stream of consciousness “Dancing by the Numbers” post. Forgive me in advance if I ramble. I have to say I was very disappointed in Rock night on DWTS. No, not just because Derek and Jennifer screwed up the end of their dance, although that didn’t help. I found myself with a general feeling of malaise last night after the show. Since then, I’ve been thinking about what the problem could be. Frankly, I keep coming back to the fact that, other than Derek and Maks both having great asses, there is no such thing as a good “theme” night. If they would have a theme about male pro butts in those nice tight pants that would be a theme I could get behind. Pardon the expression. 🙂 No, really – Derek, Maks…well done.

:::le sigh:::

Anyway, I think that all the themes are detracting from plain old dancing. WTF happened to just dancing? Derek, the guy who sticks up for the producers on a regular basis – because that’s who he is – says that the themes challenge him. Clearly, that is true – 50’s Paso and futuristic paso are the evidence for it. But dang. Those two stellar dances resulted from a simple “Era” night where everyone was handed a decade. Fine. All the rest of this crap – Rock Night, TV Theme Night, Story Night, guest celebrity judges (coming soon to a Ballroom near you) – give it a fucking rest already. Someone commented on a previous post that these theme nights may be good for ratings *right now* but in the long run it will have a negative impact on the show. I have to agree.

Really, who cares about a Paso when Rick Fox has really cool hair and Brandy is wearing crazy silver half skirt half pants? And the Band gets to play cool, contemporary music? And they have cool MTV scaffolding?? Tango? What Tango?? I was too busy wondering why they ripped up the cool black floor 30 minutes before show time. :::rolls eyes:::

You know it’s a bad frickin’ sign when the highlight of the show is the Top 10 dances of all time. Hey, between the Houghs and Cheryl Burke? Seven out of ten dances. Sounds about right to me. 🙂 And I totally called “Save a Horse” as number 1, although watching them all back to back I still believe that dance and Derek’s 50’s Paso should have switched places. Eh, whatever – top ten dances out of a thousand is pretty freaking cool. I also wasn’t that impressed with Apolo and Julianne’s Samba – but the Apolo/Julianne voting bloc is still going strong. The whole idea would be a lot better if they allowed ONE vote per email address. Period. I think that would have knocked one of Julianne’s dances out and pulled one of someone else’s in – like Kristi Yamaguchi maybe.

So, who’s going home? I have no frickin’ clue. Not a one. I don’t think there is any way to predict it and I don’t think anyone is actually safe. I think the closest to being safe is Brandy, of course, but nothing would shock me at this point. You wanna know why? Because nights like last night throw some fans into a tizzy and cause other fans to be complacent. I think that Jennifer will be safe because the judges were “mean” to her AND they had her in jeopardy last week. I think her fans probably went nuts on the voting. I think it’s possible the same is true for Kurt. What happens if Kurt and Jennifer come up? Kyle and Audrina become “at risk”. Hell, maybe even Bristol could leave BECAUSE she got a better score than ever. Like I said, complacency. ANYway, the scores at night’s end:

The Judges Scores and Percentages

Place Celebrity Score Percentage
1. Brandy 36 17.39
2. Audrina 32 15.46
3. Rick 30 14.49
4. Kyle 30 14.49
5. Jennifer 29 14.01
6. Bristol 28 13.53
7. Kurt 22 10.63

Once you look at it in a list like that, a lot becomes clearer. A little. 🙂 Basically, we have Kurt in the basement, four people with essentially the same score (or close enough for govt. work) and Brandy at the top. What a nice little bell shaped curve. Unfortunately, in DWTS it doesn’t mean jack. So, what does Kurt have to do to stick around?? Well, he has to do better vote wise than someone else, by the following margins:

-Kurt needs 29k more votes per 1 million votes cast than Bristol, or;
-He needs 34k more votes per 1 million votes cast than Jennifer, or;
-He needs 38,700 more votes per 1 million votes cast than either Kyle or Rick.

It’s not looking good for Kurt, folks. But ya never know. That’s a lot of votes – but we don’t know how many votes are actually being cast. What about Bristol? Well, if Kurt does better than her by the above margin, she needs to catch and pass someone else in her little group in the middle:

-Bristol would need 4,900 more votes per 1 million votes cast to pass Jennifer, or;
-She needs 9,700 more votes per 1 million votes cast to pass Kyle or Rick, or;
-She needs 19,300 more votes per 1 million votes cast to pass Audrina.

On the face of it, it would seem easy for her to do better than Jennifer, Kyle or Rick – but last night wasn’t a typical night. The judges were very nice to Bristol and Kyle both and, like it or not, that influences how much people vote. So, did Palin fans rest on their laurels??

What about Jennifer?? Will Bristol get the 4,900 votes and Kurt the 34k votes?? Bristol, maybe, but Kurt?? I kinda doubt it. But lets say they vote like crazy for him and he does very well. What does Jennifer have to do?

-Jennifer would need 4,850 more votes per 1 million votes cast to beat either Kyle or Rick, or;
-She needs 14,500 more votes per 1 million votes cast to beat Audrina, and (just for reference);
-She needs 34,000 more votes per 1 million votes cast to beat Brandy.

That kinda makes me feel better about Jennifer’s chances because I think she can get 4,800 more votes than Kyle AND 15k more votes than Audrina. Audrina, while I would like to see her in the final 3 with Brandy and Jennifer, still worries me because I never remember what she did the next day, or even after the show is over. That said, I will be shocked if she goes home tonight. I won’t be shocked if she goes home next week, provided that Jennifer gets her act together. What would cause Audrina to be the “shocking” elimination THIS week?

-Jennifer gets 14,500 more votes per 1 million votes cast, and;
-Rick AND Kyle EACH get 9,700 more votes per 1 million votes cast, and;
-Kurt gets 48,400 more votes per 1 million votes cast, and;
-Bristol gets 19,400 more votes per 1 million votes cast.

Hmmmmm….frankly, I could see Jennifer, Rick, Kyle and Bristol all getting the necessary votes. But Kurt?? That’s a lot. I tend to doubt it.

So, I guess in looking at these numbers I feel like Brandy, Rick and Audrina are safe – and I really hope all 3 of them really are safe. I also THINK that Jennifer is safe. Ironically, I think it’s possible that the judges being harsh with Jennifer could spell the end for Bristol – fair and correct or not, it has an impact on how people vote.

That leaves us with Kurt, Kyle and Bristol. We’ve already talked about Kurt and Bristol, but just how safe is Kyle?? For Kyle to leave the following would have to happen:

-Rick gets ONE more vote than him 🙂 per 1 million votes cast, and;
-Jennifer gets 4,850 more votes per 1 million votes cast, and;
-Bristol gets 9,700 more votes per 1 million votes cast, and;
-Kurt gets 38,700 more votes per 1 million votes cast

Actually, with the exception of Kurt (again) I can see all of that happening. I think it really comes down to Kurt, Kyle and Bristol, still. And keep in mind that for Kyle and Bristol to be safe OVER Florence last week they only needed 5,500 and 16,500 more votes per 1 million cast, respectively. That’s really not that much.

Well, I can’t pick. Last night confused me too much. You guys pick – who’s going home?? I’m leaning toward Kurt – but I really don’t know. It could be anyone.

DWTS11 Week 6 Power Rankings

UGH.  This is not how I wanted to spend my first week back ranking after my absence 🙁 Just as I predicted (and I was truly hoping it wouldn’t pan out this way), the judges lavished praise on every single tango, and absolutely HOSED the couples doing paso.  To what end? I don’t know…either Kurt & Jennifer are getting a crap ton of votes and the judges are just giving them low scores to create drama, or maybe they really and truly want them gone.  But over BRISTOL? Ai ai ai…I don’t even really feel like ranking now.  But alas, I must…

1.) Brandy & Maks – I gotta hand it to these two for doing pretty well on an otherwise dismal evening – best tango of the night, and some cute marathon choreography.  Thought they had an advantage with the song they were given – seemed a bit more exciting than any of the other tango songs.  Started off very high-energy and strong, had a few minor wobbles, but overall pretty damn good.  But once again – why waste so much time running up to the stage at the end? It was a strong tango – I think it could’ve had a much strong ending with some sort of dramatic drop or dip.  I liked their marathon choreography – seems like Brandy’s jive technique has improved – and they did seem to have the most stamina.  With such a strong score, I don’t think they’re in any danger of going home.

2.) Jennifer & Derek – Heidi is freaking out right now about these two, but honestly, I think they’re gonna be alright – Jennifer has become a sentimental favorite this season, and I think she’s got the fanbase to carry her through.  First things first: paso is just not Jennifer’s dance.  Period.  I had a bad feeling from the very first bar of her flinging her skirt and kicking awkwardly at the beginning – that skirt seemed to wear her, rather than the other way around.  It was decent in the middle – she seemed to keep up and get some nice shaping – but it all seemed to fall apart in the last few bars.  Yikes.  But it did not warrant what I consider just bitchy self-importance on Carrie Ann’s part – like it was a personal insult to her that Jennifer didn’t do so hot this week.  Go take a Midol, Crabby McCrabbers.  However, I do give these two props for actually committing to the character of the paso – if you somehow merged Audrina & Jennifer’s pasos, you’d have a pretty good routine, a combo of technique and performance.  As for the marathon – I think they may have saved themselves by sticking it out to win 2nd place, but man – Jennifer looked BEAT by the end of it.  However, I think these two ought to be ok, based on the fact that they’re one of the favorites, and that certain other couples REALLY got hosed tonight…

3.) Audrina & Tony – No big surprises here for me – Audrina missed the mark in her paso.  She was on-time and didn’t make any mistakes, but that’s about all she had going for her tonight – the ceiling eyes were back in full force, her movements were robotic, and overall I felt like she just wasn’t “present” in this paso.  I mentioned earlier in the comments of Heidi’s post that the difference between a good paso and a bad paso is whether or not they inject some theatricality into their moves…well, I think these two TRIED, but it just kinda fell flat.  And damn – Audrina looked winded after only a minute or so of the marathon dance.  I think they oughta be ok based on score alone, but we are making our way into “shock elimination” territory…so who knows what next week or the week after could bring.

4.) Rick & Cheryl – Not a whole lot to say here – their tango was nice to watch, he stayed on time, he was believable, I liked his faux hawk 😉 Overall – not great, but not terrible. What worries me about these two is that I seem to have less & less to say about them every week…which  tells me that they’re becoming a little forgettable.  Not sure it’s due to anything they’re doing – they’ve been pretty consistent this season – but rather that everyone else seems to be having really “breakout” performances and I don’t think Rick & Cheryl have really had theirs yet.  I daresay it needs to come sooner rather than later, because this week…it really could be anyone going home.  I don’t think it will be these two (they still have a comparably decent score, even though Rick looked like the daggone Tin Min in the marathon), but once we finally weed out these weaker dancers…his looks ain’t gonna carry him much further.

5.) Kyle & Lacey – This was a weird one for me.  Overall, this felt more like a paso than me than a tango…as if Lacey was hoping for paso instead of tango, and had already choreographed a paso, and decided to just revamp it to seem more…tango-y.  It also seemed rather tame by Lacey standards, and I found myself (I can’t believe I’m saying this) actually wishing that it was a bit less “by the book” and a little more “Lacey-ish”.  However, I cannot get over how atrocious Lacey’s ballroom technique is, and I feel like it’s most evident during the tango – you could drive a boat show between these two at times.  But I guess the adherence to traditional tango appeased the judges, because they were back to loving Kyle this week (or maybe just loving the tango, since they seemed to adore every single one of them.) Go figure – these two are a complete wild card for me, and the judges scoring is so back-and-forth that I’m never sure whether they’re totally safe or on the brink of elimination.  Again, on a night like tonight where the scores are so spread apart, I think they’ll be safe…but after that, who the hell knows. Weirder things have happened – people in monkey suits have dodged elimination! Speaking of which…

6.) Bristol & Mark – I groaned out loud when I heard the words “air guitar”.  However…these two did a complete 180 from last week’s monkey suit disaster.  This was a pretty good tango – she stayed on time, had a great frame, seemed to actually embody the mood of the tango, and I absolutely loved their costumes.  Kinda pleasantly surprised that Mark managed to reign in his usual spasticality this week (ok, aside from the air guitar bit) and actually give us some very clean, crisp, technical choreography…maybe someone dosed he and Lacey’s drinks with Ritalin this week or something, because both of them seemed uncharacteristically calm in their choreography. No big moves for these two in the marathon, but really no surprise considering how low-energy Bristol’s jive was.  Now I’m left with an interesting dilemma: she did pretty well this week, but I still feel like she deserves to go home based on her overall performance thus far on the show, because let’s face it – the majority of it has been pretty mediocre.  However, my gut is telling me right now that she managed to eek out one more week on the show after her performance tonight.  But I think they’ll still have her in the red lights in the final two, just for effect, along with…

7.) Kurt & Anna – Poor Kurt & Anna.  Is it just me, or were they especially harsh on them tonight? I actually didn’t think his paso was terrible – I rather enjoyed it, as he did seem to get into character and managed to do some decent moves.  It was what Audrina & Jennifer’s pasos should have been – a combo of technique and performance.  Am I the only one that saw that??? Because my mouth was agape when the judges whipped out the 6 paddles.  DAY-UM.  And they continued the abuse with the marathon, tapping him out first.  OUCH.  I’m not quite sure how they went from adoring him last week to hating the guy so much this week, but maybe I’m blinded by my love for Anna 🙂 This is gonna be one helluva score to overcome…and I was only slightly encouraged by the intermittent busy signals I was getting when phoning in my votes for them.  I’m hoping Brenda Warner is organizing a prayer circle for Kurt as we speak…because it’s gonna be nothing short of miraculous if he manages to make it through to next week 🙁

So let’s hear it: did you guys think the judges were totally whack, hit or miss, or totally spot-on? Who’s gonna get the encore? And will we be in for our first “shock elimination” of the season? Holler…I’m gonna go eat my feelings now (I have both cinnamon buns and apple pie in my kitchen, and some eggnog to wash it down…YUM) and hope that a performance from my 2nd favorite redhead in the world (Nancy Wilson of Heart) on tomorrow night’s show will renew my faith in mankind 🙂

DWTS, Season 11, Week 6 – Media Before the Show Tonight

We have a couple of things to share before the show tonight to get you pumped up. 🙂

First up, Kyle and Lacey are adding an “Interesting Twist” to their Tango! Here is what TV Guide is reporting in a new interview with Kyle.

TVGuide.com: How’s the tango going?Massey: The tango is going pretty well. It’s just strenuous and continuous. It’s probably one of the hardest weeks, but it’s necessary to win. You’re in hold a lot in the tango, and there’s a lot of technical moves you must do in order to make it a tango. I think just the footwork — the backsteps, the ball-change and the turns — is the hardest. You can never move your frame when you do them. Your posture has to be up and out, and everything has got to be perfectly straight.

TVGuide.com: It’s Rock ‘n’ Roll week, so I’m assuming you have a rock song. Is it weird to do a tango to a rock song?Massey: It actually works! It works very, very well. Once you see it, you’re going to say, “That’s very cool.” It’s a very interesting twist to the tango. We always try to have a story, like a love-hate relationship sort of thing, but I think this week is probably the most unique because of the way we did it. … The usage of the stage — we use the full stage. We really have a lot of attitude in our performance with our grabs and holds and pulls. Everything’s really intense, but at the same time, it’s like a flowing dance. I can’t explain it well. It’s really rough, rugged and hard and sharp, and then it flows.

And here is what he said on the marathon dance.

TVGuide.com: What are you focused on for the marathon? Are you nervous to do two dances?Massey: Nah! It’s necessary. This is a competition. I’m totally ready for it. I think you have to really perform in the marathons. It’s not so much about dancing, but it’s more about performing. I think when we go out there, we just have to out-perform everyone. We’re going to throw some cool moves in there and we can do lifts. It’s like a whole different ballgame. I’m going to see what I can do!

Maks and Brandy attended “The Carousel of Hope Event” in Hollywood this past weekend. Maks had high praises for it at Twitter saying, “I rarely leave an event with such happy feelings. Loved EVERYTHING about tonight! @4everBrandy looked amazing , btw 🙂 “. And she did! Check her out in this new video from Access Hollywood of Brandy talking about tonight’s dances.

They also talked to ET On-line. Here is a snippet. You can also see a video at the link.

During rehearsal, Brandy asks Maks how he feels about spending so much time together perfecting their routines. “Next question please,” he jokes, then adds, “Just kidding! I love our time together. It’s confusing for the most part, because we have hot-cold, extra-hot, extra-cold, cry, laugh — all within five minutes, so it’s really fun. … It’s been a pleasant and a great experience.”

“That’s sweet; I feel the same way about you,” replies the R&B star, “but I want to know this: Do you think I talk too much?”

“Yes. No,” answers Maks with a laugh.

Concerning their current status at the top of the leader board, Brandy comments, “Maks said to me yesterday, ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,’ so we’re just going to keep doing what we’re doing. … Top of the leader board feels great. There’s just pressure now to stay consistent and to stay on top, so that’s what we’re working hard to do.”

But is Brandy ready to take on the Tango? “Maks thinks I’m a little too nice for the Tango ’cause it has the aggressive side of it, so I have to get in touch with that side of myself,” she explains. “Every week I’ve been trying to channel different parts of myself.”

Maks says doing the Tango requires a little bit of “method acting,” saying, “Same thing with the Tango and the Paso and the Rumbas, those emotional dances, they have to be lived.”

The couple also faces the marathon dance tonight, which Maks says is a mixture of the Jive, Swing, Lindy Hop “and all that,” and the judges are looking for “a clean, professional dance, so we’re going to stay away from gimmicky stuff.”

I hope Brandy won’t be “too nice” for their Tango. 😮

Rick and Cheryl also talked with Access Hollywood. They know there is no room for mistakes. Be sure to read more at the link.

“There’s no clear front-runner – everything changes every single week,” Cheryl told Access, at a rehearsal with Rick on Friday. “Anyone can go home at this point. So the pressure’s definitely on for sure.

“We have to make sure we nail every step — there’s no room for mistakes now,” she added.

The dashing duo is furiously rehearsing for their upcoming Argentine Tango performance – a dance that Rick found challenging when the couple originally performed it two weeks ago.

While Rick and Cheryl’s height difference has proven to be to be a challenge for the couple (Rick is reportedly 6’ 7”, while Cheryl reportedly measures a mere 5’ 4”), it just may come in handy next week, when the dancers will be allowed to add “tricks” to their routines.

“What we have over every couple is lifts,” Cheryl told Access. “[Rick] has done lifts before with me in the Argentine tango.

“I definitely feel safe in his arms, so that’s a good sign!” she laughed.

Here is Audrina and Brandy talking to MTV on their dances tonight.

From Audrina’s new blog at People today. Be sure to read more at the link.;

This week is rock-themed on Dancing with the Stars, and my partner Tony Dovolano and I are dancing to “Another One Bites the Dust” by Queen. I love classic rock, so it’s really fun! We’re doing the paso doble, and Tony’s starting to push the limits by making our choreography super challenging. So we’ve been working really, really hard in the studio.

We’re actually doing two dances this week. I’m also learning a second dance for the marathon, where all seven couples take the dance floor at the same time to perform a minute-long routine over and over for four minutes. Whenever a couple starts to struggle or get tired, the judges tap them out of the competition. The last couple dancing gets ten points added to their score for the day.

The dance Tony and I are doing for the marathon is completely different from the paso doble. It’s a combination of the jive, the Lindy hop, and another dance. It’s really fast and there are lots of lifts and flips. Meanwhile, the paso doble is very intense and aggressive. We’re going to be stomping our feet a lot and looking kind of mad and sultry. The other dance we’re hopping around, having fun and smiling. They’re completely different!

It’s really hard learning two dances at once. Plus, it’s beyond the halfway point in the competition now, and all this hard work is finally starting to hit me. My whole body just feels sore and achy. I feel completely exhausted. It’s really starting to get hard!

At the same time, I’m really happy to make it this far! I honestly didn’t imagine that I would make it to the halfway point. I didn’t know that I could do any of this, so it’s really exciting. But there’s also a lot more pressure and nerves because I know it’s only going to get harder from here.

Don’t forget Audrina and Tony are on The Ellen Show on ABC today before the show where they will be interviewed and do a dance as well.

Lastly today, we want to remind everyone to VOTE for your favorite pro-dancers or who you’d like to see dance in the show’s “Design a Dance” Competition. Voting is open until Thursday, October 28th at 9AM PT.

Ok, that is it for now Dancettes!! More later and don’t forget to get your reviews ready of the show tonight for the new “Power Rankings” post that will be posted after the show!! 😉

Jennifer Grey continued to be listed as the big -250 favorite with her closest competition being recording artist/actress Brandy at 3/1 odds. Gambling911.com believes Brandy might have some good value with a payout potential of $30 on every $10 bet should she win.

The remaining Dancing With The Stars odds for Season 11 were:

Audrina Patridge 8/1

Kurt Warner 6/1

Rick Fox +350

Kyle Massey 30/1

Notice how Rick took a dip compared to the last weeks. Also, we are finally seeing Brandy move up where she should be.

DWTS 11, Week 6 – Who’s Dancing What…And When?

Another week, two more dances – the Paso Doble or the Tango. This is also the week of the marathon dance – what that entails this season I’m not quite sure. It’s rock and roll. I’ve seen some say Lindy, I’ve seen some say jive…I think it was Derek or Maks that mentioned several dance moves. Someone else used the words “free style”. At the end of the day, it should be interesting. Can someone dethrone Derek as the marathon champ? Probably, since Jennifer’s the oldest person still in the competition and they are limited in what lifts they can do. So, who will it be?? I’m tempted to say Brandy or Audrina, but I wonder if one of the guys can sneak in there? I expect they will tap Bristol out first and score her Tango low, in an attempt to eliminate her from the competition – which is fine, since she’s the worst dancer still in the competition.

ETA: Louis is at the show and tweeted at 30 minutes to show time that they are ripping out the black floor. Freaky. Maks and Brandy are going last, which tonight of all nights is not a good spot. And ABC nixed Brooke Burkes rocker chick “boob dress” – Now I’m curious, of course.

Here’s what the couples are dancing – and in some cases, the dance order and/or song:

Kurt/Anna; Paso Doble – Dancing 6th

Bristol/Mark; Tango

Brandy/Maks: Tango – Dancing 7th
Song: Holding out for a Hero, Bonnie Tyler

Jennifer/Derek: Paso Doble

Rick/Cheryl: Tango – Dancing 4th

Kyle/Lacey: Tango

Audrina/Tony: Paso Doble
Song: Another One Bites the Dust, Queen

Many thanks to Karina, who tweeted this very interesting photo of what the dance floor is going to look like – I honestly don’t know how to feel about this.

I'm a nerd and proud of it. Two degrees in geology also means I love BEER. :-) I'm also a Derek lover - proud of that too. So don't scream at those of us on this site and call us a bunch of "biased Derek-lovers" - it's just ME. :-) It may sound like I hate DWTS at times, but really, I'm just a snarky nitpicker from way back. And I'm cynical and jaded too. But I do love DWTS. :-)

DWTS 11, Week 5 – Stuff Off My TiVo

That’s the title I’m going with from now on for random bits of DWTS that I find on my TiVo. 🙂 Not everything that’s on my Tivo, only the things I like or find interesting, for one reason or another.

The first bit of this one you’ve seen before, but it’s the Kristi Yamaguchi impersonation that gets me – how does one do that spin on a dance floor??

A bit from Extreme Makeover, followed by a DWTS Champions – Where are they Now?

I think it’s Barry Williams that sent Florence home.

And for you Situation Fans. 🙂
