Taylor Swift and Rod Stewart on Dancing with the Stars
I must admit that I got a little distracted tonight with all the election results. Although, I did tune in a little extra to see my girl Taylor Swift do her thing. Rod Stewart on the other hand…well, I’ll just not comment.
I can’t imagine people don’t know these songs, but here they are just in case. Plus, it’s nice for us to be comprehensive in our list of DWTS music.
Taylor Swift sang “Mine” with Dmitry Chaplin, Tony Dovolani, Chelsie Hightower, and Lacey Schwimmer dancing and “White Horse” to a DWTS video montage.
Rod Stewart sang “I Get a Kick out of You” with Peta Murgatroyd and Damian Whitewood performing.
Of course, there was also “Step In Time” performed by the cast of Mary Poppins. I’m sorry, but I pity anyone who has to try to perform in the place of Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke. Just impossible! I would probably see the Broadway show if I got the chance though.
Now back to Taylor Swift. Here’s the video of her performance of “Mine” on Dancing with the Stars 2010.
And Taylor Swift’s performance of “White Horse” on Dancing with the Stars Season 11:
Excellent John. Thank you so much! I have yet to watch the whole show since I ventured to Colorado to shop yesterday. So, this is fun listening to and taking in before doing so. 😉
Taylor Swift sucked as hard as Rod Stewart. Girl cannot sing her own song live…
I liked Rod and Taylor LOL! Last nights results show was awesome! The awards were awesome!! LOL! It was great im having to watch it online though cause i had bball last night.
I loved seeing Kurt and Anna praying before that performance too. GO KURTANNA!!!
Ooooooook. I just really appreciated that from them. Really aweseome! 😀
John–you should absolutely see it on Broadway if you can. Gavin Lee, the guy who plays Bert, is a ringer for Dick Van Dyke. I wished he would have been on but wasn’t since they were using the national tour cast.
That also was not the complete Step In Time number. On Broadway, there is an amazing special effect done by Bert by I won’t spoil it 🙂
Sounds cool Heather. Now I just need a trip to NYC.
Heather – I ran into Dick Van Dyke in Malibu a few years ago – and what a delightful man he is!! Just lovely. I helped him pick up some money he had dropped on the ground and he started joking around about how some of the newer bills look like monopoly money and he’s always afraid that someone won’t take it for real money. Very outgoing, very funny.
what about alison sweeney and james scott on dwts season 12 i will totally be voting for james scott
