Pure DWTS Season 12 – Las Vegas Odds For Mar. 13-20th
Only one more week until showtime Everyone. Are you feeling it? What a fun cast this year and it’s so hard to predict who will win. I can’t wait for Courtney’s “Power Rankings” post to really put it all into perspective. Stay tuned for that. Until then, check out the Las Vegas Odds again for this week from SportsBoDog. Once again, the odds have changed and made some twists and turns from last week’s post. Kirstie’s, Chelsea’s, Petra’s, and Wendy’s odds have lowered while Mike’s, Romeo’s, and Ralph’s odds have risen. Kendra’s odds have lowered as well. As of right now, it sounds like this contest will be between Kendra and Ralph? (Heidi’s Note: If I’m reading it right, Chelsea and Hines are right there half a point behind Ralph)
Chelsea Kane 11/2
Chris Jericho 10/1
Hines Ward 11/2
Kendra Wilkinson 7/2
Kirsti Alley 10/1
Lil’ Romeo 8/1
Mike Catherwood 10/1
Petra Nemcova 18/1
Ralph Macchio 5/1
Sugar Ray Leonard 6/1
Wendy Williams 12/1
It always cracks me up when they make these predictions before even seeing one dance…I have to say from the teeny footage we’ve seen from Kendra (thank you PureDWTS!), she moves exactly like Kelly and Niecy did, something about Louis teaching style that his students seem to replicate movements nearly exactly? I think Ralph will be ok but I highly doubt he’s going to move better than Chelsea Kane, just my opinion of course…he’s looking good, I won’t deny that, but Chelsea has had dance experience and I think she’s going to make a strong move up front. I also think Romeo is being undervalued. Whatever the case, I can’t wait for the week to pass so that we can all actually SEE what TPTB been too miserly to share with us this preseason!!!
Oooo…Joan…what kind of experience has Chelsea had? I’m curious now.
Hi Heidi: Ok, I probably (may have) mis-spoke…my understanding is that she’s been in a some national touring groups of a few notable musicals, so I’m guessing (assuming – and you know what they say about that… 🙂 ) she’s been choreographed at some point in her career…which we all know gives a slight advantage to any competitor on this show. Sense/muscle-memory is a huge thing! She’s also a Disney kid and she’s a singer so I’m taking the leap that she’s got a few advantages. Maybe I’m bad for that but that’s what my thoughts are on the situation.
No you’re probably right, Joan. It enough that others with similar experience get labeled ringer for it unless they have a perceived liability.
