Dancing With The Stars 2011 – Mark Ballas And Chelsea Kane Putting Finishing Touches On Viennese Waltz
Mark has had a busy week with family in town and shooting a new video. But, he and Chelsea have been hard at work on creating a “solid” Viennese Waltz for Monday night as well. More on their dance below where he also mentions they and the other dancing couples dance to “movie” songs.
Back to the grind. It’s been a good week of rehearsals thus far, and a productive and fun week outside of the studio. This season is really speeding along, as we’re approaching the halfway point already. As they say, time flies when you’re having fun!
On Monday, we’re dancing the Viennese Waltz. This dance is a smooth dance with a lot of turns and is very beautiful and classic when done right. Unlike the Jive and Cha Cha, we had the past two weeks, which were fast paced and energetic, you’ll see the graceful and elegant side of Chelsea — a side she pulls off flawlessly. It’s movie theme week and it’s been so much fun at rehearsal getting to hear the songs from movies that have been on the soundtrack to many of our lives. I can’t tell you what Team Kanenball’s movie theme is, but you’ll definitely recognize the song and know the movie.

I am looking forward to their dance. Mark’s V. Waltzes with Shawn and Kristi were beautiful. Chelsea has the body type the judges seem to like as long as her lines are finished.
Im hoping this will be dance that I finally connect with Chelsea and Mark. I want to, but I dont know, there is something off for me between this pairing, and I cant quite figure out what it is. I barely remember them by the end of the evening.
Sandy…I think nothing will change for you tomorrow. They are either 1, 2 or 3 every week. They have a Waltz so I think they will either go first or third and their score can’t be any higher than 24.
I see more then a 24 hopefully a 27 the judges will give them tonight. I love Mark hes my favorite pro on the show and I am still in awe of his creative, brillant jive. I think him and chelsea are adorable together because they are both fun in nature, but tonight you will see the more beautiful side of these two when they dance the waltz.
