DWTS 2011 – Dancing With The Stars TV Ratings For May 2-8
Well, it appears Monday night’s show has hit the hot spot again for the week of May 2-8. However, the Results Show has fallen from 3rd to 5th. Once again, American Idol and NCIS is Dancing With The Stars biggest competiton. The Voice is starting to make an impact in ratings too. I didn’t think that show would go at first being we already have American Idol, but, it’s doing well i the “10” spot. I was glad to see Blue Bloods on this list as well this week. More below.

No Glee in the top 20? The episode was great! Not surprised by the top 5 though. The Mentalist being number 8 is surprising as is how high the voice is ranked. Don’t get me wrong, they are both nice shows but the Mentalist is boring sincel ast season and the Voice is ok but a pale version of the X Factor. All that seperates the X factor from the voice is the judges home part and the spinning star trek chairs lol.
My bad, all that seperates the vocie form the X Factor * lol.
Well, Vin – technically, the Voice made it to air first, so X Factor will be looked at as copying IT. My little Brit friends keep forgetting that the UK version doesn’t really count here. And if I were Simon Cowell I’d be worried. AI’s ratings are solid in his absence – at 100% of last year. The Voice is also very solid and the viewer numbers are increasing weekly. The X Factor will benefit from neither show being on the air at the same time, but he risks viewers being burned out on singing shows AND his judges don’t exactly appear to be the powerhouse of Randy, JLo and Steven (or Xtina, et al). Hell, Steven has even got little girls screaming at him again. I dunno – a year ago I would have said the X Factor was a slam dunk and would push Idol out of the picture, but it’s a completely different story now, especially since Simon chose Paula.
I absolutely love Dancing with the Stars and that’s too bad Romeo got the boot, I think he should have stayed. I haven’t had the time to watch my favorite shows on TV lately, so I’ve been catching up with the stars on DISHonline.com. A benefit to being a DISH Network customer and employee is that I can watch thousands of titles for free at http://bit.ly/dJzWgo, this includes Dancing with the Stars.
