More Dancing With The Stars Maksim Chmerkovskiy In Canada
MontrealTV in Canada has posted a little news article and video of Maks when he was in Canada this past week to take part in the Salsa Rengue 3 Anniversary. Be sure to see him being interviewed and shimmying it up with fans at the link at the Thursday Club!! They ask him about Canada and why he likes it there. He said he loves the European vibe. He said he use to come to Montreal every Valentines Day when he use to compete. The rest of the video is in French, but, still fun to watch none the less. 🙂
If you haven’t seen our earlier posting of Maks and this event, be sure to do so here. You can see a picture, link to a video, and read how PureDWTS reader Evaine described the event as she attended it and saw Maks in person. I’m betting she hasn’t come down from Cloud 9 after seeing him yet. Huh Evaine? 😉
Nope, still on Cloud 9! *g*
Basically, what the gals and Augy were saying is that Maks was wonderful, marvelous and all those good things. One of the gals had seen Maks before, in New Jersey at a DWTS tour event and she thought he was gorgeous then and gorgeous now. The last girl on the end had gotten her cheek kissed during the photo sessions and she was all giddy. *LOL* And all three ladies are AVID fants of DWTS and especially Maks. *g*
LOL! Awesome! Thanks for telling us what they are saying!!!
Oh! Part of what they were talking about as well, was that Maks, near the end of the evening had exhorted everyone to get up and dance because it was a dance club party, after all. You can see some folks did (we were sitting right by that dance floor), but I have to say, there was a HUGE gaggle of women that just surrounded the VIP area where Maks was sitting (and I use the term loosely because I don’t think the man sat down except for the Q&A all night) and just… watched Maks, like an animal in a cage at the zoo. *RME* Which, you know, okay, this is what he’s getting paid the money for, but, being Maks, you know he’d get his opinion across. Soon before he left, he basically said, “People, this is not cool. You should be on the dance floor, dancing. If you want to attract a dancer’s attention, you dance, you don’t stand around staring! This is not hot, dancing is hot. DANCE!”
I wanted to stand up and applaud. *g* Oops, maybe I did. *g*
