Dance of the Day: Pre-Movie Theme review of Movie Theme circa Season 10

I thought it would be a nice idea to take a look back at a prior Movie Theme night, to review all of the dances that night, just to give us a sampling of what we will be enjoying… or cringing… when we watch on Monday.

So, we are looking back at DWTS Season 10, Week 5, definitely a night that gave us some memorable dances…. Some GOOD memories, and some very bad memories, and some that we may not really want to relive, but what the hey, it’s fun…

Since the producers LOVE to challenge the Pros and Celebrities by giving a constant stream of themes, we’re sure to see more. If the theme is a repeat from a prior season, like this one, PLEASE let me know the season and week, it’ll make looking up the dances. Thanks!!

Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough Tango to the theme of Pretty Woman

Nicole and Derek scored a 9,9,10 for 29 out of 30 points. Derek is still in the competition, dancing with Ricki Lake.

Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya Rumba to “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” from the movie Armageddon

Evan and Anna scored a 9,9,9 for 27 out of 30 points. Anna is still in the competition, dancing with Carson Kressley.

Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower Cha cha cha to “Old Time Rock n Roll” from the movie Risky Business

Jake and Chelsie scored an 8,7,8 for 23 out of 30 points.

Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy Jive to “You Never Can Tell” from the movie Pulp Fiction

Erin and Maks scored a 7,7,8 for 22 out of 30 points. Maks is still in the competition, dancing with Hope Solo.

Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood Quickstep to the theme of 9 to 5

Pam and Damian scored a 7,6,8 for 21 out of 30 points.

Niecy Nash and Louis VanAmstel Jive to the theme of La Bamba

Niecy and Louis scored a 6,6,6 for 18 out of 30 points.

Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke Quickstep to “Bare Necessities” from the movie The Jungle Book

Chad and Cheryl scored a 6,6,6 for 18 out of 30 points. Cheryl is still in the competition, dancing with Rob Kardashian.

Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani Foxtrot to “Don’t You Forget About Me” from the movie The Breakfast Club

Kate and Tony scored a 5,5,5 for 15 out of 30 points. Tony is still in the competition, dancing with Chynna Phillips.
