DWTS Brooke Burke Charvet To Launch New Lingerie Line Called intiMINT Sneak Peek

Dancing With The Stars co-host Brooke Burke Charvet is launching a new line of lingerie called “intiMINT“. The new line (which she models above) will include lace g-strings, briefs, boyshorts, bralettes, racerback tanks, robes, nightgowns, and separates. In promotion with the launching, there is a new interview up at Brooke’s website Modern Mom. Below is a take for why Brooke thinks Moms will love her new lingerie line.

Why do you think moms will love your new line?

I think the first thing that goes when we become mothers is our “me time” – the time we spend on ourselves. I think it’s super important for moms to bring their sexy back and to not lose their sense of self. We have to remember that we are still women!

Something as simple as intimate apparel – a beautiful pair of panties and a bra with a sexy detail – might help you feel like a sensual woman again. It can help you remember that woman behind the scenes, the woman you were before you had children. Trust me, your husband will appreciate it, but do it for your own inner Goddess too.

Lingerie is the first thing we put on in the morning and the closest things to our body. I know sometimes we only have five minutes to throw on our gear before rushing out the door to carpool, work or whatever other mommy commitment we have…. and as moms, I think we sometimes forget how sexy we are!

I want to encourage women to take style chances, add color to their wardrobe and learn to layer and have fun with the sexy pieces in the intiMINT line. Simply making the choice to dress your body in intimate apparel that is both comfortable and beautiful can make such a difference in the way you feel throughout the day!

Nice. I love it. Be sure to read more at Modern Mom. You can view more pictures of Brooke directing on the set as well.

To get early VIP access to see her line when it fully launches, sign up at intiMINT.

DWTS Season 15: “All-Star” Season – Pick your Stars!

In case you missed it, last week I posted all the celebrities that have graced Dancing with the Stars with their presence and asked you – the reader – to choose your favorite star from every season. In that post you were only allowed to choose one celebrity per season.

Earlier this week there was a post asking you to pick six male and six female professional dancers that you would love to see back for Season 15. Since there were a lot of requests for the inclusion of the DWTS Troupe dancers, stick around for Friday to see what I have planned. But back to the celebrities:

I have compiled all the stars that have received the top votes in their respective seasons and put them all into two polls: Men and Women. Now you can pick up to twelve stars (up to six male and six female celebrities) that you would love to see come back for Season 15 of Dancing with the Stars.

Since the past several seasons have been twelve couples, I figured it would be best to see who you would choose for your Six Favorite Male Celebrities and Six Favorite Female Celebrities from across the seasons.

Note: I know it has been said that Mario Lopez is most likely not going to do Season 15 because he is too busy, but since this is just what the fans want… and he has been a popular celebrity, he’s still part of the poll. 🙂

Enjoy!

My life can be summed up in the following two quotes: 1) "I am married to engineering and am its faithful wife by day, but at night my wanderlust takes hold and the arts becomes my jealous paramour." and... 2) "Engineering is my safety net. Writing is my passion. Acting is my escape when the other two become too much." So where does dancing fit in? Pretty much anywhere at this point... =)

Tom Bergeron Excited About Angle Taken For New All-Star Season of Dancing With The Stars

Tom Bergeron had glowing things to say to Zap2It about the mark Richard Dawson left on “Family Feud”. Tom tries to use that same kind of “poking fun” and “spontaneity” (boy, does he ever! 🙂 ). Tom also discussed the new upcoming All-Star Season of Dancing With The Stars. Below is more about what he’s excited for….

“I’m very excited about that,” he confirms, “particularly since it’s now a broader canvas than had originally been discussed. At one point, there was talk of doing sort of a ‘second chance’ season for contestants who came close, but didn’t quite get the coveted mirrorball trophy.

“Then, the powers that be thought it might be more fun to open it up and even include former champions and fan favorites who might not have had a snowball’s chance going in, but were always very charismatic and popular. I think that turns it into more of a celebration of the show itself, and I’m excited about that angle.”

I’m excited too. I agree how having the “very charismatic and popular” contestants will be just as fun as the winners themselves. Afterall, this show is about entertainment as much as skill.

Stay tuned. Tom is prepping to host PBS’ “A Capitol Fourth” concert special for the first time on Wednesday, July 4th. More on everything at Zap2It.

Louie Vito Still Has Something To Prove If Asked To Do Dancing With The Stars All Star Season

We had a fan named Byrl write to us about Season 9 contestant Louie Vito. Recently, he asked him if he would be interested in returning for the All-Star edition of Dancing With The Stars. Louie told him that he was “available” and still had “something to prove”. Furthermore, he’s in prime shape. Here are some highlights from what Bryl wrote to us below in catching us up on ‘all things’ Louie Vito since he was on Dancing With The Stars in Season 9.

Byrl: Louie Vito is on the verge of being #1 in the world of Half Pipe Snowboarding. Last year he changed up his training and reported in at WinningFactor.com. He was there for 5 weeks. When he reported in, the owner told Louie he was not in shape at all when Louie thought he was. Louie was chasing everybody and this included NFL Football players and towards the end of the 5 week training program everybody was chasing Louie. He had bypassed them all.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Louie Vito embodies style, power, skill and determination. Vito has won four of the past five U.S. Grand Prix Overall Championships, four X Games medals, two time Winter Dew Tour Cup Overall Champion and has made the podium at seventeen of the last twenty major contests since the Vancouver Winter Olympics. With his remarkable presence on the half pipe and endeavor…s off the mountain, he has cemented his place as one of the greatest snowboarders of his generation.

Vito is currently the reigning Winter Dew Tour Overall Champion and U.S. Grand Prix Overall Champion. When Vito is not landing arduous “double corks” and 1080s he is working on his endurance and strength training. Vito recently showed how important a strong body can be in snowboarding when he was selected for the prestigious ESPN Magazine’s “Body Issue.” Also, recently Vito was chosen to be the face of competitive snowboarding for Red Bull.

On being invited to do the Dancing With The Stars All Stars….

…he told me in a message, that “I am available and I have something to prove. I am still in my prime” and he knows that he will do better than he did before. One thing about it Chelsie Hightower would not have to worry about him being in physical shape.

Thanks Byrl! Keep us posted on Louie!!

DWTS Carrie Anne Inaba In Magic Image Magazine 2012 “Follow Your Heart And Stand True”

Carrie Ann Inaba on WhoSay

Dancing With The Stars Judge Carrie Ann Inaba is gracing the cover of this month’s issue of “Magic Image magazine“. They also have a fun interview up with her where Carrie Anne discusses her career, her biggest mentors, her judging gig on Dancing With The Stars, and more. I thought this take was interesting where Carrie Anne chats about what makes her feel the most accomplished.

MIHM – What makes you feel more accomplished: dancing, singing, or acting? We heard you like action roles, is that correct?

CAI-I feel best when I dance. But I like all of it. Ultimately, I will have to sing again. It’s something that still scares me but still is such a huge part of who I am. I want to sing a duet with someone one day. I have a low alto voice, and I write music, so we will see how that comes up in my life. It usually comes when it’s the right time. I have found that if I work hard, the universe is very kind. As far as acting goes, I’d love to do an action role one day…or do a musical on stage. I think that would be really fun. People forget that my background is more performing with singing and dancing than it is speaking. But what makes me feel most accomplished is producing. I produced a pilot for ABC with Krista Vernoff last year. It was called Grace and it was a wonderful project about a choreographer who was driven to a point where his family life suffered a little because of his artistry. Our lead character was my alter ego, I’d say. If I was born a man, I would have been Michael Grace. It was a wonderful way to release some of the creative visions I’ve had over the past few years. We did these incredible dance sequences that were a projection of his imagination – a dance in water, a dance with broken glass and an incredible piece with wind…mixed with some street dancing scenes and some intense rehearsal scenes. It almost killed me because I was producing this Pilot while I was shooting DWTS and I’d go to the edit bay and work till 3 in the morning after doing a show at DWTS. Sometimes I’d show up to meetings in my evening gowns because I’d have to come right after work. It was fun and draining, but I’ll do it all again because I’m developing other projects now. I love television and producing. I developed last season at NBC and I’m developing again. It’s like auditioning – you have to keep trying and eventually, you’ll get it right and it will be successful. I am currently developing with Bruce Cohen (Academy Award Winner) and we have some really fun ideas for drama that we are fine tuning.

And below is what she says about Dancing With The Stars and judging….

MIHM -You have been a judge on the show Dancing with the Stars for several seasons, tell us about this great experience…

CAI-It’s been fun but it has also been challenging. I have always had a fear of public speaking. It makes me crazy sometimes. But DWTS has allowed me the opportunity to share my dance experience while facing my own fears. This is always a good thing. Life is about challenging yourself. And DWTS challenges me as a person. It has also allowed me to be a part of the dance revolution in America and it’s been so great to see people falling in love with dance. I’m grateful to DWTS and other dance shows like So You think You Can Dance – which you may not know that I was a part of when it first started as well. These shows have brought dance to the main-stream conscious and that is a good thing.

It’s not always easy to say what you mean in such sort 15 – 25 second soundbites…and sometimes I have had to take a lot of heat for what I have said or for what Bruno or Len have said. And I have learned that you can’t please everyone. You just have to be true to yourself. No matter what you say, someone will be upset by it. This is a sad but true fact I have learned while being on TV. But it’s good because there is a big lesson in that. And it’s a good lesson. Follow your heart and stand true.

Be sure to read the full interview at Magic Image Magazine.
