DWTS Pro Tony Dovolani Dances With Spectators At Halftime Basketball Charity Event
Recently, Dancing With The Stars Tony Dovolani had some fun on the basketball court with some spectators during halftime charity fundraiser basketball game. The contest was between deputies from the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office and the FWB Fred Astaire dancers who helped to raise money for the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches geared to helping troubled teens stay on the right track. This is so cute. Check him out….
Also, Tony was recently featured in People Magazine with his family for a Fathers Day feature. Several of you sent pics of a blurry scan. If someone is able to get a clearer scan, please send it to us. We’d love to feature it.
Ah, love Tony! Wish he and Max could finally take a Mirror Ball home!

Any idea what Peta and Derek are working on. According to her twitter she said they will reveal it very soon, but its very quiet now. Maybe its for the olympics as someone else mentioned? Any idea?
@Margaret: I saw that too. I hope its the opening number for the upcoming season 🙂
They’re performing for some sort of game show that has contestants, but also has a lot of big entertainment groups from the UK. It’s one of Simon Cowell’s shows. Don’t know how they got involved except Derek has known Simon for a long time, as I imagine a lot of the pros who have been on the show for a while do.
Opening number for the Olympics? I LOVE Derek, but why? I see no connection between professional dance and the Olympics.
I think there a strong connection between professional dance and the Olympics…I’m a sports fan. One of the reasons I’m drawn to DWTS is because the dancers are similar to athletes..and some of them are. They have toned strong bodies. That could be why pro football players do so well on the show. Basketball players not so well, but the figure skaters and gymnasts have done an outstanding job. I can see the correlation, and I think it would be cool to see some of our dancers open the Olympics.
